This review is based solely off of vibes. Moodright's is comprised of two related, but different concepts. There is a pool hall/bar/game room with bowling (set up your own pins). Basic beer and drinks. This is NOT a cocktail bar. You might get a gin and tonic or Negroni or something, but nothing fancy. TON of pool tables. Very lively spot, but not overly crowded. Then next door there is what could be described as a tavern. The menu says, "Over Yonder." It has a stage for entertainment, booths, a bar, and they serve food, including tenders, burgers, wings, tacos, fries, burritos, etc. All of the staff were super down to earth and welcoming. All sorts of people here, mostly younger though. Definitely a 70s type of place that makes you feel like you're in another time. I didn't try the food because I wasn't hungry, but everything looked really good! Might stop by for a snack the next time it's late and I'm tipsy. It's just a couple hundred feet away from lone wolf, another popular lounge, and about 3-4/10 of a mile from the main drag of the Starland District and Water Witch Tiki, so you could make a bar crawl night of it. read more

Moodright's is a total dive... and that's exactly the appeal. Definitely a younger crowd, super casual, and just a fun place to hang out for a few drinks. We grabbed a seat at one of the shared picnic tables and ended up making like six friends. People were actually striking up random conversations with each other, which caught us completely off guard coming from DC where that.... never happens. It was a really easy, welcoming spot with good energy. Very neighborhoody. read more

Great place for a drink, has a bit of a dive bar vibe and tends to draw a younger crowd. Cheeseburger was good, but not great (something about the beef - maybe it was too lean?). Really liked the homemade fries and sauces. The homemade chicken tenders are massive, which I liked, but a friend thought the ratio was too meaty. Had fun playing pinball and shooting darts. Such a fun bar with a throwback vibe! Wood paneling on the wall, duckpin bowling, super cheap drinks ... what else can you ask for? On Monday nights they have bingo. I was visiting Savannah and Moodright's came up on my search and it was a bar I hadn't visited before. It looked like a modern dive bar. We ordered a couple of sour beers, played pool, took photos in the booth, and bowled. It was fun to bowl in a more "manual" way. The decor was great, good music, and service was good. This is an odd little bar that reminds you love your crazy uncle's basement when you visit for Christmas. This crazy uncle has duckpin bowling and darts and I think the pool table but obviously the duckpin bowling is the focus for most. The drinks are fairly inexpensive but the bar is a little crowded and difficult to get drinks. Everybody in the group really enjoyed and we've been back a couple of times. Oh by the way, some nights you pay someone to set up the Duckpin bowling pins and other nights you walk down and reset your pins yourself. Also there is a large area outside with seating for smokers or those that just want to hang out in good weather. read more

This bar is so cute! It's definitely hipster. It's got ample outdoor seating so bring your dogs! There were two there while we were there. They have two pool tables and mini bowling. The bowling is free, you just have to set up your pins yourself. It was so much fun! They have a great beer selection. I'm not sure if they have food or if it's good we just visited for drinks and fun! We will definitely go back! read more

This was such a cool dive bar we found after dinner. Mini bowling was so fun and they have a good little supply of beers. If there is no pin racker then mini bowling is free! We hung out for a couple beers and a game of bowling. Local crowd seemed friendly and seemed like a definite local spot! read more

This place is absolutely amazing to go to in the middle of the day!! Bowling is free, but you have to reset your own pins. If you go as a couple or with friends, its truly a blast!!! Super cool new bar opened up there about 5 months ago off the beaten path of dt Savannah.They're working on a restaurant concept to open up in the back. This is a great little spot. We had a family emergency and needed a breather before some difficult decisions. We stopped by right as they were opening and the staff was great. You can tell the owner poured their heart and soul into this place with all the attention to detail. They have no idea how much this stop impacted a whole other family, but it really did, and it made the unbearable, bearable. Thank you guys for that. read more
