Made a weekend visit to Frames N Games in Pooler for some bowling. It was crowded, there was about an hour wait - but all of that was expected as it was raining outside and it was a Saturday. We compared prices for all the bowling alleys in Pooler and Savannah, and this location had the best rate. The staff was able to get to us quickly to enter us into the stand-by que. They also have laser-tag and a pretty sizeable arcade if you wanted to spend your waiting time doing something else. Once it was our turn, we were able to book the 2-hours and get our shoes. The selection of bowling balls were slim, but we made it work. They offer assistance ramps for those who may need assistance and bumpers can be set for individual players and not mandatory for the whole party. They also offer a full bar and food items that looked delicious! read more

Not a pleasant experience. Their customer service is horrible and the lane seating leaves a lot to be desired. Also, when I complained about the nachos because the chips were stale, I was told that all sales were final. Their manager stated that they're not a restaurant and refused to exchange them for something else. I would never come here again. A place to go bowling and arcade gaming with your family, right in the heart of Pooler ! ~Location & Parking~ Frames N Games is located next to Royal cinemas - it is behind the strip mall that has several stores including Molly McPherson's pub. There are sufficient parking spaces around the establishment unless you come at peak hours, you may have to park at the strip mall which is a very short walk away. ~Services & Food~ There are many bowling lanes - I've never had to wait to get a lane. We went on Saturday afternoon, a peak time - the crowd mostly comprised of children and families - and didn't have any trouble getting a lane . They also have arcade games and a laser tag area which is super fun! It's a great place to take your kids to. As for the food - I don't believe they have many options but it's good enough for a gaming and bowling place. We just ordered pop. ~Ambience & Pricing~ The bowling equipment and lanes are well-maintained. We didn't play any of the games, but the arcade looked nice as well. There were mostly families with children and it was filled with lots of chatter and squeals. The only thing I felt was lacking was that there was no music in the background - having music would've elevated the experience . Additionally, after 9pm at night, they turn off the main lights and have cool moving projections and music while you bowl - worth waiting for that! As for the pricing , it was reasonable. We came here for a kids birthday party and each kid received a game card with $10 on it. Within 3 minutes all three of the kids that were with me ran out of credits. Just as I was getting ready to add more money to their cards I noticed what a TOTAL ripoff their games are! $3 per play is a little ridiculous don't you think?! Needless to say I did not add more to their cards cause enough will never be enough in this case. We won't be visiting here for their arcade. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM FRAMES N GAMES! Came in Thursday around 1:30pm and got a lane. Barely any customers in the establishment, but Went to order 2 plates of buffalo chicken fries from bar area. Waited for the food for 30min plus just for it to have cold chicken and warm fries! I had went back to tell the lady that the food was cold and she took the same plate of food that was cold, went to the back, and warmed it up. Came back atleast a minute later with the same plate and didn't even say anything about having to warm it up. Terrible customer service and will never order food from there again. U would be disappointed if u waited that long for food just to be heated up and STILL cold after the second time. I'm a regular that's now not a regular. read more

Fun place to go, overall. Nice sized lanes and variety of balls, and lanes seem to be oiled better than places like Bowlero. The food is average, but quite alright. The employees are great. Arcade room is good, but there's always a fee games that are out of service. The arcade area can get a little rowdy on weekend nights. All in all, a great time. No kids under 17 allowed after 6 pm. read more

My daughter and I visited here on a weekday afternoon. It's a great time to go. They have discounts before 5 and it's not super crowded. We started off in the bar area. It's got plenty of seating and three pool tables. The pool tables are $1 a game and accept coins and dollars. The bar high top chairs in the pool area could use a little tlc. The foam is exposed on most of them. They have an incredible draft beer collection. And happy hour prices are $1 off each beer. We played a few games of pool then headed to the arcade. The games in there work off a reloadable plastic card that you swipe for each game. They have lots of interesting game choices. They have two karaoke machines that make recording of your songs, one even has video. We didn't try this but would love to come back and try it. We did take pics in the photo booth. That was fun. It's $3 and you get two copies of your four pics. It was so much fun we did it twice. They have lots of driving two man games. They have a super large Pac-Man game that two people play together. It was great. They have a few air hockey games. They have three basketball games, but only one worked. We played it many times. It was hilarious and an actual workout. They have a dance game and guitar hero. Those were great for two people. It was a great afternoon. We can't wait to go back! read more

This was a really awesome fun zone place for the family. Bowling lanes, arcade games, a 2-story laser tag area and even a 5D theater. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! My party of 6 enjoyed a 15 minute round of laser tag and the arcade games. At $6 per person, it was priced well and 15 min the room was more than enough. If ever in the Pooler area and wanting reasonably priced fun with the family, definitely check out this place! read more

Cool bowling alley. Looks like something from the 1950's! Tons of lanes and a nice feature that allows for individual bowlers to have the bumpers raised (never saw this before) which is great for the kids. I broke 100! ;-) They also have a video game room, a few pool tables and a small snack bar. read more

Was very excited to try out this place because it looked so nice from the pictures online. Everything was really clean and friendly staff, all except one guy named David. David is an older gentleman that works at the check in desk for laser tag and where you go to rent your shoes. I've never met someone so rude and disrespectful. We almost just turned around and went to Bowlero in Savannah because the guy had 0 customer service skills, and then proceeded to belittle me and my date. The game area could use some TLC, and the kids/teens running all over the place with no control was baffling. There should be a standard in place to avoid this. Terrible. The owner is so rude! My husband and I spent over $100 in this business tonight for our kids and us just on bowling and food. My husband was in line to extend our game on our lane and the owner started kicking us off of our lane and told us he already sold our lane and we couldn't stay there. When my husband was telling him that he didn't understand why he would sell our lane if we were still playing and told we could extend our time since we just paid by the hour the owner then told him he was going to call the cops on him. The manager was very kind though and has always been nice to use any other time we've come in so I'm so disappointed to find that the owner would treat customers in this way.... read more

Came here with my nieces and nephew that are with me for the summer. My niece ordered Bone-in wings but was given boneless. We took them back to the register and told them. Instead of apologizing and swapping them out the "managers" proceed to argue with me that i must be wrong. Literally refusing to swap them out. Craziest customer service experience I've ever had. He gives me a refund and says he can't swap them out because the boneless are cheaper. WOW a whole $1.50!!! I could have paid that, i just wanted it fixed but was not given that option. Completely disrespectful. Then says he's sorry and i told him if he was sorry he would have fixed it so i my niece wouldn't be sitting here watching the rest of us eat!! Bowling alley and more. They have laser tag and a large arcade. We've been here twice for birthday parties and enjoyed ourselves both times. The pizza is tasty as far as bowling alley food goes. Laser tag is fun and has two floors. The arcade games are pricey and instead of using quarters you put your money on a reloadable giftcard and just swipe at each game. The card keeps track of the tickets you earn too. Since you are just swiping you spend the money faster. read more

So I chose this place to celebrate my sons 8th birthday before we left out of town. He wanted to play Laser Tag. After reading the reviews online I opted to try this place. When we got there the police officer kept observing me and the 3 children (8,11,12) I had with me. She later approached me and requested that my nephew remove his hood from his head. We're from NJ so I took it as maybe the hood was offensive but I counted more than 10 people (non African american) with hats and hoods on. About 15 mins later a patron an older woman approached me and said "Ma'am, I'm not quite sure what's going on but I overheard the female office calling for backup stating there was a boy with his hood on walking around the bowling alley and she was pointing at my nephew when speaking to an employee." I was so appalled but at this point I had already spent $190 on pizzas, wings, drink pitchers, funnels cakes etc & $56 for laser tag (no refunds) because I was ready to leave and not waste a another second of my sons birthday there. Soon after 4 other children that I previously invited arrived and came to join our group. They played laser tag and Thalia was AMAZING, KIND & COURTEOUS. She allowed me and the other parent watch our kids play laser tag from the outside of the room. Afterwards I spent $200 on game cards for the kids to play in the arcade. The children wanted to play another round of laser tag so I spent $56 again. This time there was a boy name William (Eastern decent) who was very rude and would not allow me and the other parent to watch the kids. I explained to him we had just watch them play 20 mins prior and there was no issue why do we have to wait out in the arcade this time. I asked for his name and a manager and he said to me "Why do you need my name, I don't have to give you my name and I don't have to get a manager. When the other parent that was with me saw what was going on he demanded that William get a manager. A female employee came out and she was very sweet I did not get her name but she allowed us to watch the children play and she stated this was not Williams first time doing this to patrons and they usually don't allow him to work in the laser tag area because a multitude of people had complained of his behavior. When we came out of laser which is about 10-15 mins we went back to our table to get ready to leave and our food was gone. I order 3 pizzas we had 2 boxes left. 1 box had 3 slices the other box was a full cheese pizza. I went to the register to get the kids some slushies to go $28 and told the male employee about our food missing and asked for a manager. When the manager Nate came out he said that he personally threw my food away because we left our table unattended. He then came back out with a box of pizza that had 3 slices in it but claims there was no box with the full cheese pizza. Not that I wanted the pizza back if you supposedly threw it in the trash already but if you threw it in the garbage why are you shoving the box of pizza that you retrieved from the garbage in my face. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The best thing about the place were the 2 female employees. They seriously are assets to the establishment. Nate, William and the female officer are the reason why I would not recommend this place. I will be contacting the General Manager, the owner and the BBB. read more

Frames and Games is an establishment that I will not return to anytime soon. We went this evening for my husband's birthday to strictly play pool and for him to enjoy some drinks with friends. We played about 8-10 games of pool and then was approached by the "said-manager" Nathan that we needed to get rid of my Hydroflask (32oz canteen) because it wasn't allowed in the building. Mind you, upon entering the building in the front door, there were no signs indicating "NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS" so i entered the building with my canteen full of water because I am 6 months pregnant. So after being there for now 2+ hours playing pool and encountering multiple workers, we were never told to get rid of this said canteen until now when Nathan approached us. We explained to Nathan that it was just water due to me being pregnant and not preferring to drink their tap water, but he said he didn't care and to get rid of it. So as we are finishing up this game(4 balls left on table), we are approached by a police officer that was very nice and understanding and who even smelled the canteen to ensure it was water AND noticed my huge stomach at that. The manager then said that he saw in their video camera that we took a container to the bathroom and poured it into the canteen, when i NEVER entered the bathroom and would never bring something im drinking to the bathroom. So after a bunch of lies from Nathan, he told the officer to make us leave, and we did to not start issues but it's the fact that he could of handled the situation better than to go into the parking lot and grab an officer to approach us when we never raised our voices or refused to leave. It is what it is. A well equipped and maintained bowling alley. What separates Frames N Games from other simple bowling structures is that they also have an arcade/game room, plus an attached restaurant/ grill adjacent to the bowling lane complex. It provides a great place to have fun, drinks, and a menu of standard bar food fare. You can come in and toss some strikes, or toss'em back at the walk-up bar window. Having a nice sized arcade on premises with a Laser Tag room is really a nice touch. It allows you to take a break from bowling, or simply play the arcade as a stand alone event. It's on a much smaller scale than say a Dave & Buster's. But, it has all the elements for a good time included. read more

I came in on a Tuesday night it was pretty slow when I first came in but picked up as I was bowling. Natalie and Tyson welcomed me with a smile and asked how I was doing and helped me get the best deal on bowling (which by the way is by the game). After I got my lane I headed to the snack-bar to order food and shortly after Tyson was actually working both places he said that they were short staffed so he had to work both. Despite having to do two jobs at once Tyson was still very helpful and recommended the sweet chili and lemon pepper wings which were delicious and not a bad price considering how much they are other places. After we finished our bowling and food we headed back up front where Natalie got us a $23 game card for $20 and we enjoyed playing all the arcade games a few of the games were down (like every arcade ever) but it was a nice experience. One of clown games didn't give me any balls I told Natalie she put the money back and cut the game off to prevent anyone else from doing that. We finished with a game of laser tag Natalie helped answer all of our questions. The customer service from this establishment BEYOND met my expectations and Natalie and Tyson definitely made this place one to return. read more

This place is a total ripoff. Avoid it like the plague. The customer service is terrible, the lanes aren't that great, and they refuse to refund your money when they are in the wrong. Don't leave your table if you have their lousy food. They'll swoop in and throw your food out if you get up for 2 minutes to use the restroom. Then they won't refund you the cost of the uneaten good you paid for. Bad attitudes all around. Like the customer owes them something. I'll never set foot in this rat trap again. read more
