Mermaid Board with dry brush and acrylic pour
    Cara K.

Pinspiration in Pooler is a brand new franchise location. I visited here on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and 2 friends. One of my friends is an art major, so as soon as she got wind of Pinspiration, we were making plans to go. She was the only one of the 3 of us who is artistic. The rest of us are mediocre! The studio and owner, Raquel, are smoothing out a few kinks and learning the business. The experience would have been better with more organization. Raquel was trying to do too many things at one time and was running around with no direction. I am fully confident she will find her flow and organization in no time. Raquel is a true artist and was an art teacher for 11 years before she opened her this studio. I have been to a "paint and sip" class where everyone paints the same picture on a canvas and sips wine. My painting sat in a closet for years until I threw them out. Pinspiration is not like that. Each person picks their own project, colors, style, and everything. The artist is there to guide, teach, and provide suggestions. The creation is yours to make. I walked in with the intent of doing an acrylic pour painting on a canvas, but after looking at the options on the walls, I chose to do a mermaid board. The top was painted with a dry brush and the tail was an acrylic pour. I was nervous it wasn't going to come out good, but I am so impressed and proud of my art. I'm truly going to hang my creation in my home. My boyfriend did an acrylic pour on a bottle opener board, and my friends made a canvas with a different paint technique. All 4 of us were impressed with our work! We ordered a few beers and munched on a charcuterie board. I would not recommend coming in hungry as there is no time to stop and eat. Plus, your hands will have paint on them! A few things to know before you go: - Plan for a 2-3 hour adventure - Some projects take a day or two to dry, so you may not be able to bring your art home that same day - The studio serves beer and wine. You cannot bring your own alcohol - Currently the studio only offers a few snacks to munch on, however she is working on expanding her menu. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to returning. Hopefully my next visit will have more organization!

Can you tell who Mimi is????

Raquel was so patient and kind with my kiddos!! They definitely made a huge mess and she was like - no big deal! They had a blast in the "splatter paint" paint room! It was like giving kids permission to have a food fight and come out with a product at the end!! lol!! Great activity for spring break!! Kim (Mimi) and Grandkids

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would me and my husband were only driving around the area and happen to stumble across this business. We peeped in to see what it was and we were blown away. There is so much to do here from candle making soap making splatter paint, glass, staining, and so much more arts and crafts. They also have great prices, and the staff is amazing. The only thing that I wish is that we found this place earlier!!! we really enjoyed ourselves.

My sisters and I had an amazing time at Pinspiration Pooler! We did the splatter room and laughed all the way through lol. We were celebrwting my birthday and they even had a cute little sign for me. All of the crafts on the wall were so cool and I would have loved to do more of them! The manager and Maddie were super helpful and nice. I couldn't believe Maddie was still in her first week of working there. She was so knowledgeable and nice to talk with. I would love to go back the next time that I am in the area to have more crafts to take home. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a fun activity in Savannah.

Best bday present! The owner is super nice & went out of her way to help make a taped unicorn on the canvas per my 4 yr olds request!

Very cute place! I did the candle class with a girlfriend. They even have a space to rent out for events.

She helped us to get set up in the splatter room, took plenty of photos, and helped us out of our equipment.

Hands down my favorite part of my recent trip to Savannah…read more I had signed up originally to do a couples' event, and well, wound up just going solo at the last minute. Anyway, they mention it on the website, but I feel you should know that if you change your mind about what exactly you want to make, they tend to be very flexible about this. I was able to change my selection no issue. The couples' event consisted of two glasses, and well, I changed my mind and made a glass, as well as a little baby pumpkin. Now before you get started, they make you sign a safety waiver and they give you some instructions as to what will be going on. If you get overwhelmed, don't fret because they make this so simple that a child could do it. Heck, children have gone there and had their fun. At least with Caleb, the instructor that I had, this was a seamless process. Caleb was a real gem and somehow I managed to get him to myself. An oddity in itself, but I went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. I suppose most people were at brunch. It was the later evening slots that were busy. Just something to keep in mind if you're like me and get overwhelmed with groups of people. That said, it seems they cap these events at maybe a dozen people or so. Nothing crazy. This isn't the 30ish people you see at your typical painting class. At any rate, once the pieces are done, you need to wait 24 hours to get them. You can either pick them or have them shipped to your house. I chose the latter. Shipping for me was $35 and they came to me exactly one week later. Brandon, who I believe is the owner, texted me with the tracking number. From beginning to end, this was a legit joy. Oh, and did I mention that the pieces turned out beautiful? I'm dying to display them. Otherwise, Caleb provided me with many recommendations for my time in Savannah, including a restaurant I loved. You best believe I will do this again when I return to Savannah. Glassblowing is definitely not something you see everywhere. In fact, if memory serves me correctly, I think Caleb said around 300 people were still instructing this art. Who knew?

Brandon was informative, funny, safe and instructed each of us at our level. By the time we were done with our pieces, we felt like we would be able to make them again! Great and entertaining instructor - book him now!
