Me and my son playing bowling
    Lindsey G.

I had a great time there with my 8 year old son and he had a blast! And he never wanted to leave there Food- It looked like I was in the 50s cause of the texture not the food duh and then after playing bowling we ate food and I liked it but my son didn't cause he said there hair in his food but he just got it up and just started eating it and then did not care about the hair Bowling- I like the bowling alley and then I like the music, ambiance, and everything! And then I beat my son's butt and then won the game and I was a 8 and my son was a 6 of course of my profile pic Arcade- Trust me. You should go to the arcade because none of the arcade games are broken cause I think it just got built and then it was fun then Frames n Games cause I hated it except the bowling alley and then foods and stuff anyways back to the arcade so I helped him do Down The Clown and then the punching bag game and skee ball and he had a blast at the arcade games The reason I give it a 4 star is because there was no oil on the lane. In fact just want to tell you tap "Love it" if you been on lane 33 and lane 40 before cause I been there and it was fun

Sticky note with 2x normal pricing cause it was 1 day before memorial day

Gouging prices for the hoiday is not cool. Had a hard time with the new girl that worked there too. No music, no ambiance. Not worth $50 for ONE game.

    Arcade is brand new

It's clean. The staff is courteous. Everything looks new. We didn't eat anything but the menu looked tasty. I don't know why the ratings are not higher in this place. We played one game for 4 people and 3 arcade cards for about $100.

Let's talk…read moreabout a beautiful historic intimate location in the heart of downtown Savannah with the charm and sophisticated architecture that an elegant event would bring. The Room at Common is top notch and believe me there is absolutely nothing common here. Let's give a moment of respect to the Executive Head Chef Shawn and his entire accompanying staff whose impeccable attention to detail in every dish that exited his kitchen demonstrated the depth and ability of everyone who had a hand in slicing, cutting, baking, and curating the most delectable dishes I have found in quite a while. You need an outlandish charcuterie board to get you in the mood to begin the eating festival. The sliders had the perfect texture and the bread was tenderly placed with a delicate sauce. The tomato basil soup in a bread bowl was like heaven. The fried green tomatoes were also a favorite. The short ribs with the smothered collard greens and the cornbread were on an another planet of goodness. You want fresh local oysters on the half shelf pulled from the water only hours ago, well they got you right in house with them lying on ice and a professional shucker right there to serve you with a beautiful smile. Did I mention the dessert bar? Freshly baked cookies, macaroons, mini red velvet cake shooters, lemon puff pastries, mini cheesecakes, and other treats that would leave the sweetest sweet tooth, toothless. The food was Southern, but wound up a notch. It was not boring. It was not common. If you're in Savannah for a work conference or need a place to meet to discuss business with your team, host a holiday party, or have a small wedding reception, do not skip The Room at Common. One thing I appreciate is how attentive the staff is to each guest. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. You feel as if you're one of the family coming to visit. The cocktails are delicious. The wine selection is fantastic and carefully crafted with an experienced sommelier in house. I'm telling you that you will kick yourself if you don't have you people call Leah Ralph to book your event. The food and drinks will make your folks love you forever!

We were looking for a small, intimate, and beautiful space to host our micro-wedding celebration, and after reaching out to many places in downtown Savannah, The Room at Common stood out immediately. When we did our site visit, it was exactly what we had envisioned and more. The space is beautifully decorated inside a historic Savannah building and offers thoughtful features like a Frame TV for slides or welcome messages, private restrooms, a private bar, and the ability to play your own music (which is rare for a small venue and comes without extra charges). Leah was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She responded to our initial inquiry almost immediately, something that really stood out since many other venues took days or even weeks to reply. From the first email to the site visit and all the communication leading up to the event, she was incredibly helpful and reassuring. As someone who works in hospitality and tends to be a bit of a "controller," it meant a lot to feel confident that everything was in good hands. On the day of our celebration, everything was beyond what we imagined. The space looked beautiful, and we were greeted so warmly. Sammy, our server, was attentive and fun, and the bartender was fantastic as well. And the food... absolutely incredible. Every dish exceeded expectations. Our guests are still talking about it weeks later. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the steak was outstanding, and the fried cornbread, fish dip, and cheesecake were unforgettable. A huge thank you to the Executive Chef (who even came out to greet us) and the entire kitchen team. Every member of the team made us feel cared for and ensured we had everything we needed. They truly embody the meaning of Southern hospitality. Thank you all for making our day so special. My husband and I already say that if we ever renew our vows or host another celebration, we'll absolutely be coming back.

Simply Magical - A Dream Wedding at The Mackey House!…read more There are truly no words to describe how incredible our daughter's wedding day was--but I'll absolutely try my best! The Mackey House is, without a doubt, the best wedding venue in Savannah. From the moment we drove down the breathtaking, tree-lined driveway, we knew this was the one. The grounds are absolutely stunning--the gardens, the fountains, the romantic ambiance--it all felt like a scene from a movie. What truly set The Mackey House apart, though, was the exceptional staff. Every interaction was warm, positive, and professional. They were always smiling, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. A huge shoutout to Dave, who served as both the officiant and DJ. His great sense of humor had so many of our guests asking, "Where did you find him?!" He made the ceremony feel personal, heartfelt, and fun--truly unforgettable. And an enormous thank you to Andie from Emerald & Ivy Events. Her bubbly energy, calm presence, and constant support throughout the planning process--and especially on the big day--were invaluable. She guided us through every step with confidence and joy. Even a bit of rain in the forecast didn't shake this incredible team. Dave tracked the weather closely and made the call to proceed with an outdoor ceremony--and it was perfect. Andie calmly worked behind the scenes with the in-house and vendor teams to ensure we had a solid "Plan B" in case weather forced a change, but we didn't need it! Not a drop of rain fell during first-look photos or the vows, and the sun even peeked through the clouds as they said "I do." Pure magic. We loved how each part of the celebration had its own beautifully designed space: cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing--all thoughtfully laid out and seamlessly executed. The bridal suite and groomsmen's "man cave" were perfect for getting ready. And at the end of the night, the staff packed up all of our decor and belongings, making cleanup and departure a breeze. From start to finish, everything ran flawlessly. The Mackey House team made the entire day feel stress-free--for us, our daughter and son-in-law, and every guest. They treated everyone with such kindness, care, and love--it truly felt like they were part of our extended family. Thank you, Mackey House, for making our daughter's wedding dreams come true. It was the most magical day, and our guests are still raving about how beautiful and joyful it was!
