Had a kid's birthday here. The assistant manager set it up (manager was on leave). Asked for a theme...of course, it was Taylor Swift. They said OK, set 4 pizza toppings and two drink pitchers, and the date was set. We showed up day of and we had really NOTHING to do. The lanes were reserved, we set kids (up to 10 for basic cost) up on lanes. Bowled for a bit with drinks set out and our party advisor asking what we needed. Really, our assigned party person was great! Then there was pizza from their kitchen and cake! We chose the cupcake cake which tasting it was from Holloway. We arrived and there were only a few people playing in a tournament toward the end. At our end, there was no one. They soon left and we had the place all to ourselves. They played nice music. It was pretty and bright inside. The bathrooms were clean. They had updated screens that was very fun to keep score. They offered drinks at their little bar. They had food but I did not like the taste of it. It tasted like gas fumes to me... but besides the food, everything else was absolutely perfect! Parents be warned~you can break the piggy bank FAST here between bowling, arcade, glow in dark put put, food & drinks. They also have virtual reality & pool tables. We paid $30 for 30 minutes at the arcade. We were allowed to let the kids share one card but it only allows one swipe every 30 sec+ so it felt like we spent a lot of time trying to get it to swipe with 4 kids but no way were they all Getting their own card. The only thing I didn't like about this place was it asked for tip at every register. I don't mind tipping for food or drink service but why do I need to tip you to ring me up for Bowling or put put? The happy hour drinks were great too!! Overall great place but can rack up $$$ fast!! read more

Quite a few Games were out of order/broken, many machines out of tickets and over priced

There are good and bad points to this bowling alley. Good: Up-to-date bowling software with cool technology which shows your ball speed. Has projector screens playing music videos throughout the night which was fun. Already had a variety of balls with varying weights which was ready for bowl. Has a bar inside for ease of getting refreshments. Has a virtual reality gaming center on site for additional fun if you are into this. On-Site Officer paid over time for added security. He says there are typically juvenile issues and fights. Bad: Friday night had a 20 minute wait, not too bad. Shoes were worn and ragged for $4 rental. Paid $22 for an hour for the lane, not too bad. Overly crowded and seating, we had a party behind us which took all of our spare seating and tables. read more

We ended up coming here as the weather rearranged our plans to go to the water park. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We luckily got the last available lane and had a good time. The kiddos enjoyed the arcade after a couple rounds of bowling. With the amount of people in attendance, it was surprisingly clean. The bathrooms were clean as well. Can't speak on the food or drinks, since there was not enough staff to operate the concession stand (not an issue for us.) Overall it was a great way to spend a couple of hours and keep the kids happy and out of the hotel room. read more

Look, I'm not much of a bowler, probably go one or two times every couple of years-maybe a 145-150 guy. First impressions were really good, as the facility is well-kept, clean, and it even looked like the lanes had recently been refinished. They may not have been refinished, but they certainly looked in great shape... Our group truly got a kick out of the cartoon graphics that play when you put your picture in the system. I'll let you figure that out when you go bowling here. So the only reason that I am giving it two stars is - please hold all your jokes - the balls were oily/greasy. It seems that the ball return system was laying down some sort of greasy film on the balls, which essentially would not allow for any kind a bite on the lane surface. Kinda made the experience a bit frustrating. Will we go back? Certainly :-) read more

Bowling is my favorite pastime but this is ridiculous. We were placed at a lane that kept knocking our pins down, then were moved to another that kept stopping and knocking the pins down and also the machine kept pausing. Out of anger and complete exhaustion from the experience I decided to bowl my turn anyways, the machine didn't exactly move out of my way. I was addressed by a flustered and MASKLESS worker that was speaking down on me for their machines being whack. read more

Stay away from the bar. At least the pour drinks. Or should I say "poor". I am pretty sure the Absolute vodka was 99% water. No booze in that drink whatsoever. Stick with beer or wine. read more

We planned to go here for a fun family outing as this is the first trip we have been on as a family in a very long time as I am a healthcare worker and have been working on the frontlines during the current pandemic. This place seemed ok and stated on there website that social distance was being enforced. However upon arrival that was not the case over 100 people probably not many wearing masks. We went ahead anyway as I did not want to ruin it for my other family however we were unable to bowl due to the people beside us being very rude they literally stood right in the middle of our lane. We asked them to move several times and they refused the whole time they were recording on Facebook live which made us very uncomfortable and also about 10 min after we started another group took our table so we had to stand the whole time this was the last straw we decided to leave and just loose our money that we paid. I get that people can be rude anywhere but this was unacceptable. I really do not know how they are allowed to stay open during the current pandemic as the alley was not very clean at all and many staff members did not have a mask.they are definitely not following the cdc's guidelines or the state mandated ones. I just want to warn others if you go here be prepared to be disappointed let down and have it ruin your trip as it did ours. Please do better Strike Zone read more

Great place to take the family bowling. We carried my little nephew. When his name popped up on the screen that keeps up with the bowling score, bumpers also popped up in the gutters on the bowling lane. After he bowled his turn the gutter bumpers would remove themselves. They also had little ramps for the little kids to put their bowling balls on to help them bowl. There is a Denny's located in the Strike Zone bowling alley, so you can get drinks and snacks from Denny's. They have an arcade of sorts. One word of warning here some of the machines were broken. The broken machines did not have any warning that they were broken and just took our money. The boy at the counter was happy to give us our money back, but it was still a pain. They also have a bar at Strike Zone. The bathrooms were fairly clean. The bowling shoes were the cleanest I've ever used. This bowling alley is great, but it was a little pricey. read more

Strike zone is attached to Sonny restaurant. The Sonny restaurant is a 50 style diner that is very retro. The bowling alley and arcade were packed absolutely packed people were having a great time it was enjoyable just to sit there and watch everyone. The weary travelers had had dinner at Sonny and realized this bowling alley in arcade were attached. Of course we had to go check it out. Inquiring minds want to know. I am Denver quite seen a combination like this but it works it was great. Everyone was having a great time and all ages from 8 to 80 it was really fun to watch. But alas the weary travelers had to find someplace to get some rest as they were getting a bit slap happy. What's a girl to do? When you're on the road follow where it leads you. read more

It's the only remaining bowling alley in Brunswick, so it wins by default. Luckily, it's also a fun bowling alley. The staff is friendly, there is a Denny's attached (service and quality of the Denny's is a different story), and it looks great. read more

We've been here a couple times now with a few friends. I'm an amateur bowler at best. This place has the coolest scoring system I've ever seen! It has options to take pictures of all the players, funny animations between sets (or whatever they're called?), options to chat between lanes, and probably other cool stuff I haven't discovered. There's a decent arcade and a pretty well-stocked bar, which also has decent happy hour deals! I do wish there were other options for snacks. You can only get food from the Denny's that's attached. On Wednesday nights they have a really sweet deal for $2 shoes and games! read more

We had my granddaughter birthday party there today. First off they moved us out of the party room to what looked like a party room/locker room. Because.....the next lady wanted to set up early. I'm hearing that this is the better bowling alley in Brunswick and I believe it. I'm no superstar in bowling, in fact I am the Queen of Gutter balls and the shit shuffle when I bowl BUT I always have a blast and that is what really counts right? It's located right of I-95 so, it's convenient. I wasn't a big fan of the parking set-up because it seemed liked quite a walk when parking from the rear just to enter towards the front but there are some side doors to slip in. Anyway, this bowling alley is super family friendly, from the music to the entire set-up. They even having those little bowling assist for people with terrible aim which I was oh so tempted to use but my pride got the best of me :) This place was on and poppin' Saturday evening. They have about 15ish lanes and people were actually making reservations. There is also a game room inside the establishment with a handful of games and air hockey tables as well as some pool tables on the opposite side of the bowling lanes. Foodwise, This bowling alley is conjoined with a Denny's which is pretty cool if you in the mood for some breakfast. They also have a bar which I helped myself to some margaritas which had quite the serving of alcohol. My friends had beer and Daiquiris. Considering it was Saturday evening and this place was full, service was so-so. Our orders got a little messed up but the servers were quick to fix them and apologized. We were asked to move in the middle of the game but it never happened which I thought was strange. Overall, I think this is a pretty decent spot if you are in town and want to skip the whole "bar" scene in St.Simons and just want to have a fun innocent evening. Decent pricing, I paid 11.50 for two games and shoes, so it didn't break the bank whatsoever. read more

Visiting from Miami I went to this bowling alley with my nieces and nephew and while there we were watched by staff and after spending over $200 for bowling and food we were told no outside drinks were allowed. We told the waitress it was water and she said she knew it wasnt. About 15 minutes later three police officers came to our two lanes and told us we have to leave. The bowling alley staff never asked us to leave or asked us to throw the water out. Surprised by the police we asked why and we were told it didn't matter we had to leave no matter what. We had children kids with us so we left without any fuss. We were not given a refund and told we have no rights on their property. After the experience I would never go to this bowling alley and wouldn't suggest it to anyone who isn't the "normal" crowd who goes there. read more

Great place ! We were having our family reunion across the street at the Hampton inn and who would have bought they would be able to accommodate our rather large group on a Friday night ??! They did it and without a complaint from anyone that I saw :) we bowled and ate from Denny's which was awesome because they us a waitress come in and take our order ! The kids loved the arcade ! We sign our child up for the kids bowl free program every year, and it's definitely worth it! This bowling center is clean and family friendly. You can even get Denny's food served right by your lane so you can enjoy a snack while you bowl. They have cosmic bowling (music/black lights) some evenings, and this is a treat for the kids.
