Our server was friendly and the outdoor area is very cute. However, be aware that the brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays is not in addition to the regular lunch menu. It is instead of the regular lunch menu and is more limited. I was not blown away by the chicken and waffles and thought they were overly sweet. I have heard good things about the regular lunch menu so I would give this place another chance on a weekday next time.

Well, what can I say, it's very very hard to get a 5 star out of me, but this place did it! Very friendly service, awesome atmosphere, food was delicious, drinks were perfect, music was great, I can't think of anything negative. Prices were slightly high, but I don't mind paying when it good. So this place deserves it. We had a great time and I can't wait to return. Wife had the halbert fish with spinach and it was Devine. My Burger was gourmet and better than I expected. All the perfect. We ate outside, and glad we did. Thanks for a great time Station 117!

Still a great restaurant, it's very inviting as soon as you walk in the staff is very friendly and the menu is small. I've been here many times in the past and it never disappoints, very happy with this place. This visit I had the scallop risotto, cheeseburger, and the burada flatbread it was all delicious. The stand out was the general tso's cauliflower.

    Oysters

Wife and I dined here on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary. We had a great meal and some equally good cocktails. Reservations are not accepted for parties less than 10, but that was no issue because we were sat quickly and had great service the whole evening. I must say, it was pretty empty while we were there so our food and drinks came out very quickly. We sat in the covered outdoor area, which has a great atmosphere. The place is very clean and has plenty of decor and live plants. It felt like sitting in a garden with live music filling the air. We ordered oysters for an appetizer. I got the seared sesame crusted tuna and my wife got the seared scallops. Both dishes were perfect cooked and tasted amazing. Although this restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, it is well worth it. Unlike some other restaurants on the island, you are getting the quality that you would expect. After dinner, we sat at the outdoor bar and had a drink while listening to live music.

The waitlist is a joke. With so many empty tables. Using patrons as props outside restaurant

The young man who was our server was very friendly and helpful. The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.

It was a bit windy and we lost two menus blowing in the wind; apparently a common occurrence according to our waitress. Gorgeous harbor views for a sunset meal with lively full bar scene and abundant beverages and cocktails. Liked the coastal vibe going on with recorded music enhancing the ambiance. Lounging areas on rooftop dining. For appetizers: Roasted Mushrooms - perfection and flavorful. Roasted Chicken Wings - well seasoned and crispy, sweet and savory at same time. Absolutely loved them. Not spicy, even our 2.5 yo enjoyed the moist chicken wing, (pulled off some of the crispy seasoning for her). Would order two next time, it was that delicious! Burrata Salad - delicious cheese with the mixed greens, great for a party appetizer. Entree: Pepperoni Pizza with 8 slices. Thin crust, everyone in our party of 5 enjoyed it. Drinks: Surfside Iced Tea & Vodka - can't go wrong with that vodka Ship Bottom Mermaid Blonde - if you like a blonde ale, this is excellent! Gone Coconuts - Coconut flavor with Lavender - refreshing cocktail Price point was as expected. Nothing outrageously expensive for location but not cheap either. For the above and enough eats and drinks for 4.5 people, it was about $150 including tip. Service was great, ambiance was amazing, food was good. Would definitely recommend and return. Then we enjoyed the fire pit upstairs with a JD in the background. Very relaxing. Around 1030pm a 80s band played downstairs, they were pretty good too.
