Fish dinner was Devine

Well, what can I say, it's very very hard to get a 5 star out of me, but this place did it! Very friendly service, awesome atmosphere, food was delicious, drinks were perfect, music was great, I can't think of anything negative. Prices were slightly high, but I don't mind paying when it good. So this place deserves it. We had a great time and I can't wait to return. Wife had the halbert fish with spinach and it was Devine. My Burger was gourmet and better than I expected. All the perfect. We ate outside, and glad we did. Thanks for a great time Station 117!

Still a great restaurant, it's very inviting as soon as you walk in the staff is very friendly and the menu is small. I've been here many times in the past and it never disappoints, very happy with this place. This visit I had the scallop risotto, cheeseburger, and the burada flatbread it was all delicious. The stand out was the general tso's cauliflower.

Oysters

Wife and I dined here on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary. We had a great meal and some equally good cocktails. Reservations are not accepted for parties less than 10, but that was no issue because we were sat quickly and had great service the whole evening. I must say, it was pretty empty while we were there so our food and drinks came out very quickly. We sat in the covered outdoor area, which has a great atmosphere. The place is very clean and has plenty of decor and live plants. It felt like sitting in a garden with live music filling the air. We ordered oysters for an appetizer. I got the seared sesame crusted tuna and my wife got the seared scallops. Both dishes were perfect cooked and tasted amazing. Although this restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, it is well worth it. Unlike some other restaurants on the island, you are getting the quality that you would expect. After dinner, we sat at the outdoor bar and had a drink while listening to live music.

Great food, ambience, customer service, and decor! The food is always consistent. This is one of our favorite places on the island.

Beautiful ambiance however food was just "meh" and not a ton of options for kids. Service was great however.

Breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? It's all yours anytime of the day. We opted for breakfast (although they…read moreare known for their wings). The young man who was our server was very friendly and helpful. The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

Stopped in at Chicken & Egg while in LBI with some friends. I ordered the Redneck Benedict, which…read moresounded like a fun twist on a classic, but it ended up being just okay. The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.

Once again Blue Water Cafe was everything I expect it to be. Came here again on our annual outing…read morewith the family. Weather has been crappy here all week so we were able to get a table immediately. I love that it's BYOB here both to save a little money and to bring wine we know we're going to love. We were seated at the same table as last year (odd coincidence) and started looking over the menu when they brought over an ice bucket for our wine (a nice Italian rosé). For appetizers my daughter and I both got a bowl (you heard me, a bowl) of the best clam chowder I've had on the Island, the rest of the crowd had wedge salads or house salads. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best clam chowder I've had here...not even close. This year I went with the seafood scampi special - shrimp, crab, and scallops over angel hair. Wifey had the stuffed shrimp special, my son had the salmon picatta, daughter had the shrimp pomodoro, and her fiancé had the grilled salmon. Five meals of perfection. Just the right serving size, excellent flavors, great service. Keep in mind they don't take reservations so on a normal night we would have waited. Also, limited parking so pay attention to the signs on the streets. This is a great place to eat, but it can get a little loud inside. 100% recommend! P.s. my son lost his ear buds here tonight, but when he called they had already found them and put them aside for him. We just stopped by on the way back from Bay Village and picked them up.

Omg wow. Everything was amazing. Personal standouts were the blue crab dip, graham slam gelato and…read morethe meatloaf. Phenomenal food and beautiful restaurant, our service was great too! The salmon was delicious too and veggies were fresh. Lots of outdoor seating as well as a great patio while you wait for a table where you can also order a drink.
