Bought a new (Old) home and was not pleased (to put it mildly) to discover asbestos contamiated insulation in the attic, (AZ's outmoded and obsolete discolsure laws aside) we knew something had to be done , we knew it was a big job and we would need a solid top notch professional abatement done for us ever to feel comfortable in our new (old) home. After much due diligence, gathering many quotes and bids from companies from all over the valley (including all the big name guys) we decided to go with Coty and the crew from State Wide Restoration. All the quotes and bids came in pretty close to each other (price wise) but it was the time spent explaining the process of the abatement and work that would be done and personal attention to detail and follow up that made us comfortable and confident with the Statewide Restoration quote. Just old school straight forward honest dealing (no scare tactics, no false urgency no drama and no up sell) that Coty and his crew (BJ , TJ et al.) brought to the job every day was the proof that we had made the right choice for the work. The crew was always on time , always polite and accomidating to extra requests and documantaion that I needed which they always quickly provided. The Abatement was done on time (even a little early) , it was perfect (no damage to the house) and every person (HVAC , Plumber and Insulation) who has been up to the now safe attic to do work has come back down and commented on what superior and professional job had been done up there. I couldn't be more pleased with the work done and the results. I have no reservations about recommending Statewide to any one who finds themselves in need of restoration services , you don't want to need them, but if and when you do , these are the people you want to deal with, people who take pride in thier work, who do a great job at a honest price and who will stand behind their results. I own an older home and had a leak in my bathroom plumbing that damaged a few walls in my house. Statewide performed tests on a few drywall and joint compound samples from the affected areas, of which results came back positive for containing asbestos. BJ was helpful in getting me into their schedule ASAP. Chris and Kevin came out to my house the very next morning to perform the asbestos abatement. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional in every regard. They kept me informed of their activities throughout the setup of the containment area and the actual abatement procedure. At the end of the day they took air quality samples to take back to a lab and then took the time to vacuum my master bedroom, hallway and living room afterwards. After discovering a leak within my Kitchen on Monday, TJ and Mason arrived to my home as scheduled on time Wednesday, and began the tear down of my kitchen area. With the constant influx of people coming and going from my home, they completely worked around my conference calls and my work schedule, as I work from home, as to reduce the noise distractions. They were very up front about what they were going to do, the duration of time that it would take and were very conscientious about leaving me a clean taped off work space! Working from home and having a kitchen remodel being done at the same time, to be said is not the easiest thing to handle, however their professionalism and attitude are definitely top notch - I would definitely hire this company again! Statewide Restoration was referred to my home from a dryout company after my water heater exploded. It was a scary process, and I was completely caught off guard by the mess, but Statewide was fantastic. The Manager Coty, explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. He even explained to me the process of the other companies from start to finish, and it went just like it said he would. It was great to have someone so trustworthy and honest help me through this process. My home needed to have some demolition done, and Statewide did it all the same day, and cleaned up after themselves. My home was put back together in no time. I had a leak in a pipe in the closet of my daughter's bedroom which ruined her new laminate floor. My 1979 home tested positive for asbestos, so abatement was needed to remove the water-damaged walls. The team from Statewide was incredible! I had a leak in the upstairs bathroom, that created a hole in my living room ceiling. Since this house was built in 1970, Statewide came out and tested for asbestos and, sure enough, there was a problem. I had a drain leak in my hall bathroom. Statewide came out and tested my home for asbestos in the flooring and drywall. The test revealed there was asbestos in both so TJ and his crew came out to remove the flooring and some walls. They were fast, trustworthy, and very respectful young men.
