I'd give this a zero if I could. Not worth your money or time to eat at any of the quads. You've been warned.

As a mall food court meal, it's remarkable Korean fast food. The man behind the counter was friendly and helpful. He said the business settled into the mall about a year ago. When it comes to ambiance, it's about the food which is displayed in an inviting manner. There's a lot to choose from. It looked fresh, good quality and healthy. Far healthier than the other food court offerings. The portions were huge. I took the bowl home and only got halfway through. I saved the rest and ate it for lunch the next day. I was thrilled that my carb options included purple rice and Japchae which are delicious transparent sweet potato noodles. It's sometimes difficult to get purple rice in the Capital Region, so I consider it to be a delicacy. The vegetable options included seaweed salad which isn't a vegetable but tasted great. My photo doesn't do the meal justice. It was a tall bowl. Some of the really good stuff was at the bottom. I really liked the spicy chicken. I was allowed to add a second protein so I picked beef bulgogi which is a tall order if I was expecting it to be great. The marinade was a bit sweet for me. It was okay. Certainly edible. I would pick a different protein when I go back.

I ordered the build your own Bulgogi Bowl ($10.49 plus tax) with my choices of toppings and Japchae noodles, which was made in front of me behind the glass counter. I enjoyed my bowl in the food court and it was a good size portion with a good mix of ingredients including sweet pineapple and spicy kimchi with tender bulgogi with gochijiang sauce. I enjoyed my choices on this visit and I could come back and try other combinations of ingredients for another Korean bowl.

Located in Colonie Center food court, Stir Fry 88 is a quick service food counter serving up "ready…read moreto eat" Americanized Chinese food at fair prices. They offer a decent variety of Chinese hot food items & dishes from the steam table including mainly chicken dishes (bourbon, orange, spicy, chicken fingers), pepper steak, fried shrimp, veg fried rice, plain lo mein noodles, mixed vegetables, egg rolls, spring rolls, crab rangoons, and bottled & fountain Coke drinks. Similar to its predecessor China Max (reopened at Crossgates), Stir Fry 88 is located in food courts around the country and each location is independently run, so the food selection/quality and pricing varies by location. The prices (in 9/2016) here are comparable to Nori Japan. One entree & one side ($5.99), two entrees & one side ($6.99), and three entrees & one side ($7.99). I stopped here for dinner recently. I was given a free sample of bourbon Chicken before ordering. I ordered the Combo 1 and got Pepper Steak with Veg Fried Rice ($5.99 plus tax). The portion of food was the right amount for the price paid, which tasted pretty good at this Stir Fry 88. The pieces of beef were soft and tender mixed with mushrooms, onions, & green peppers in a light gravy. The fried rice had peas, carrots, onions, & egg, a soft texture. The amount of food was just right, which was pretty good for food court standards.

I paid using my credit card. They charged me a 20% tip without letting me know. Don't trust the…read morepeople here.
