I was in the area and craved a pizza, obviously. I walked inside this establishment and I wanted to check out their menu. They gave me a magnet with a code to scan through my phone's camera. It directed me to their website to check out the menu. That was a new concept and interesting. I looked it over and made a call to them to place my order. I ordered a Large Thin Crust Pizza with Crumbled Sausage, Pepperoni, and Onion. I was told it would be ready by 9, so I just waited outside in my car. It probably took about 30 minutes. I waited a bit to try it out, since the box was pretty hot. They even put foil in the box. The pizza was, of course, crispy. It was a Thin Crust Pizza after all. I'd say they didn't cheap out on the crumbled sausage or pepperoni, but the onions were difficult to locate. That was a bummer. The cheese layered on the pizza was good enough. I did enjoy their crispy crust for the most part. It was definitely a change of pace from other pizza places. The pizza as a whole, would mostly be on the line of average. I didn't hate it, but I just didn't love it, either. I would also say that they should have gone heavier on the sauce. It was pretty distant. The employees were friendly and easy to communicate with. I didn't have any issues here in terms of service, so that's a big plus. Overall, this place is a tiny bit above average for me, so they deserve three stars. I might return here, but I might not. It's hard to say, but it was worth the try. read more

The Hammond Stateline Pizza at one time was the best pizza in the area now is the worst . The people that work there are rude and cannot even make a pizza . Lastly picking up a pizza at this location is taking your life into your hands! NEVER AGAIN! read more

Slow but good if you like bitter sauusce and no sausage on a warm crusted cheese bread depending on the day...,

Best Pizza in the area. Service and Taste.... AMAZING!! You even get a FREE pizza if you collect 15 of their coupons. Their customer service and delivery is always friendly and fast. Highly Recommended! read more

State Line Pizza - Check it out. Their service is AMAZING! - Pizza Near Me - Hammond, Indiana

I've been going to state line pizza for 10years + if you noticed the reviews are from years ago that it's great food great service in the last few years there food and service has been sub par either they are out of the menu item or they don't have staff to prepare it Just has gone done hill from years ago Also the food Quality is 3 out of 10 not worth even leaving this review but so disappointing being a Hammond resident to see a small business go down hill so bad Hope they improve because Beggars in Munster definitely has my business now Word of advice employees make a business sometimes to keep customers and after low quality and bad customer service yesterday for the last time I've learned my lesson Stateline Pizza is just not what it was read more

They just let a salad with BROWN lettuce get delivered to me and offered me a $5 credit when I called to complain. The salad was $6.75. Totally unacceptable. I've ordered from here dozens of times and I've noticed the quality and service take a nosedive lately. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. The location in Highland has much better service and better quality food. read more

State Line Pizza - This is the salad that was just delivered to me. Disgusting. - Pizza Near Me - Hammond, Indiana

I had such a craving for pizza after so many days of lockdown and State Line Pizza was minutes away, so I figured why not. I ordered a small mushroom and onion pizza, and they said within 45 minutes. It was faster than that ... piping hot, thanks to a sheet of foil over the pizza, and the perfect blend of ingredients. The sauce has a bit of a tang to it and the cheese is nicely chewy. Lots of mushrooms and onions, with everything cooked just right, nothing underdone. I will definitely be ordering again. Also, the driver was very careful to wear a mask and social distance, something I really appreciated at this time. Kudos to State Line Pizza and their staff. read more

Got a pizza medium onions green pepper& sausage called in at around 7:00 still had no pizza at 9:30 called them said it was on it's way when it did get here cold as he'll and burnt to a crisp. Call them to tell them some smart ads kid I talked to said they would let them no BS I've been getting pizza here for about 25 yrs you guys screwed that up never again !!! You suck read more

Pizza is tasty, appetizers and salad are also good. I like this place! It's worth driving the extra miles from Chicago.

Really disappointed in their prices and quality. 45$ for a family size pizza, garlic bread, mozzarella sticks and 12 wings. The pizza was as big as a large from Pizza Hut. The stale garlic bread was so tiny for 3$ The small dried chicken wings were not good at all. Honestly I haven't been here in over 5 years because of the last experience I had... well I guess I will never give this place a try again. If you're looking for good pizza this is not the place. I would rather go to Pizza Hut and know what I'm getting then to over pay for small portions that doesn't even have quality. read more

Stopped in for a slice but ended up getting 2. I'm glad I did & not for the reason you would think. The first slice was so soggy that it was almost inedible. The 2nd slice was still very soggy but not as bad as the first. The girl at the window was very friendly. I was a little thrown off by the ordering window. You usually see something like what they have in the ghetto on the south side of Chicago. Also, lots of guys eating slices in their cars. I was one of them. read more

State Line Pizza - Cool - Pizza Near Me - Hammond, Indiana

Best thin crispy pizza the best in town fast and always great always cooked just right fresh toppings and the cheese and sauce are awesome read more

State Line Pizza is to die for! The crust is great, the sauce is perfectly seasoned, and it tastes just the way a pizza should taste. When we moved here from Chicago years ago, we found State Line Pizza to be the best in the area.....and it still is. It tastes like the old school, family run, neighborhood Italian pizza joints.....NOT like the commercial, big company, cookie cutter pizza you commonly find now. The staff has always been courteous, and deliveries usually arrive in the time frame given. State Line Pizza also has sandwich, appetizers, and an assortment of dinners available. Over the years I've tired most things on the menu, and have never gotten a bad meal from them. One of the best, if not the best, pizza in town! read more

The best pizza place in all Indiana & Chicago area.Friendly service and always hot and tasty food. They always have fresh 3$ sliced of pizza with 50 cent can of pop.You won't be disappointed....trust me you will be coming back again & again read more

This joint is FIRE. I've been eating here for over 15 years. The pizza is excellent, with crust that has the right amount of crunch, fresh toppings, and tasty pepperoni and sausage. The sandwiches are great also. My two favorites are the Special Beef and the Supremo sandwich. The Beef has two lightly toasted garlic flavored buns with mozzarella cheese and peppers with absolutely melt in your mouth beef. Comes with excellent Au Gus on the side. The Supremo comes with salami, bacon, pepperoni, onions and mozzarella. Absolutely delicious garlic dipping sauce on the side. They've also got a bunch of other stuff, salads, chicken, pasta, calzones etc. My favorites are the pizza and two sandwiches I mentioned above though. They have a few locations but the best in my opinion is the original on State Line Ave in Hammond IN. Check them out! read more

Been eating this pizza and beef since I was kid and as I grown older I have tried pizza from everywhere and nothing comes even close. Now If I want pizza or beef I'll pick it on my way home from work or I'll drive the 60 mile round trip to get it which usually gets sampled on the way home because you can't drive that far with that smell calling my name. read more

I used to order from here all of the time. Needless to say, it's been awhile. I decided to stop in because I noticed that they were open for lunch. I just picked up a few slices. The pizza was as good as I remember, fresh, just the right amount of sauce, generous toppings, light crust and plenty of cheese. I'm glad to see an authentic pizza joint open early during the day for that pizza fix! read more

The original location and probably the best as far as the pizza goes. I don't think they are a sit down restaurant like the one in Schererville, but they are one of the best choices when choosing delivery in Hammond. That's saying alot actually too, because I have lived here my whole life and there are some pretty good places around. read more

I tend to get tired of Beggar's Pizza and Italian Fiesta all the time and wanted something different and came across this place here on Yelp. This pizza is GOOD! Right amount of sauce and they aren't stingy on the cheese, it's so gooey, the crust-everything about is just good and they good coupons! I've found my new pizza place!! read more

I would try to give this place no stars!!!!!! I called and the lady on the phone was sooooooo rude. I decided to pick up the pizza even though the lady was rude upon opening the pizza I found 3 roaches cooked into the pizza!!!!!!! I took it back n the lady said they prolly fell from the ceiling and they have had that problem for years. I was appalled so I called the city. Rude customer service and roaches!!!! read more

Not the biggest fan of thin crust, but I must say this was pretty good. The service was quick, they were all very polite and attentive. They don't compare in price to the chain's I could have gotten 2 pizzas from pizza hut for what I paid for one...the taste wouldn't compare. I'm sure I'll go back. read more

HORRIBLE Customer service! The last 3 times that I've ordered from here I've had problems. The first time I ordered a large pizza, and they sent me a medium pizza with a small pizza that looked as if the driver let it sit on it's side the entire ride here. The 2nd time they gave me a pizza that I had to rebake because they didn't cook it long enough. The 3rd time they sent me a pizza that they didn't even bother cutting correctly! I called tonight and ask nicely if they had a new cook, because my last few orders had issues. I asked the young lady "can you make sure that they cut the pizza correctly & don't smash it" only to hear "can you not...... I'll make sure that they don't smash your pizza." The girl was so snarly & condescending! I always tip the driver no less than $5 bucks, and I order a $27 pizza. When I'm spending $32 for a pizza I would expect an APOLOGY for my past experiences, and a KIND "sure man, I'll make sure that everything is done correctly." Stateline just lost the $120 a month that they were receiving from me. read more

The original and still best of all the locations. My family immigrated to an area near this place many years ago and, despite the fact that the area has changed drastically over the years and we have since moved away, we try to order from here every so often despite the 20-30 minute drive. The ingredients are always tasty and the pizza is always cooked just right. There is just something about this place that makes you come back time and again. Thin crust pizza done correctly for a long time with superior customer service. read more

Pizza Alice was ok. Dough was a little rough. Appetizer bucket was a little on the expensive side but it does come with plenty. Had the supremo sandwich. It was different than any other sandwich I had but it was very tasty. Would definitely eat here again. read more

We have been ordering from State Line Pizza since the 80's. I have no idea who has taken over management but for the last 12 times...the customer service over the phone has been rude, delivery takes longer than normal ( that is if you get it) they closed one night w/o delivering our order. Food comes cold or wrong. Today 6/15 we placed an order....granted delivery was late but my favorite driver who's name I don't know delivered it hot but the garlic dressing which I specifically asked for on both did arrive. When I placed a call the "wonderful girl" who answered said my manager put it in himself. So, I am the liar???? I called back and spoke to said manager and he said it was the cooks. Go figure!!!! Pass the buck. No I apologize, no nothing. We weren't here to collect free food but it is sad that this well known establishment has truly fallen to the dumps. Even their driver said they can't hire anyone. DONT BLAME IT ON TBE PANDEMIC!!@@BLAME IT ON THE MANAGEMENT THEY HAVE NOW B/C ITS TRULY NOT THE OLDIES. read more

My family and I order here last weekend, the lady who took my order entered it wrong I asked for a deep dish she entered a thin crust. Staff did not want to take back the pizza and give us what we had actually ordered so my dad purchased another pizza "deep dish". The pizza was awful, the wings were good. But based on their lack of customer care and not wanting to take back the thin crust we would never return. read more

I was a loyal customer for 2 years or more. I loved state line pizza, the first time I tried it, i was hooked, instantly it became my #1 local pizza joint. But one day recently, I order pizza, with a side of fries, and a cup of cheese sauce, for my fries. When I got home and opened my food, I had a box with fries, and a LITTLE bit of cheese drizzled over them. I called them, explained to them I did not order "CHEESE FRIES" I ordered a side of fries with a cup of cheese sauce. The lady said "oh. ... sorry." And I said, "is there anything you can do, maybe replace my fries?" She said "No!" I will never order from there again. Because as a loyal customer, who orders the SAME thing EVERYTIME, they should've at least replaced my fries and cheese wth the next pizza I order, I would've been happy with that. Very disappointed for this to be a family owned business! read more

A little pricey but delicious pizza!! The service is great and the staff is super friendly.

We have been ordering from this location every week for years now. We actually plan vacation around Pizza Night. I know..... Needless to say..we are hooked! Pizza crust is just crispy without being burnt and inedible. Sauce is a perfect blend, not too sweet, not too spicy. Lots of toppings, never skimped on those. Just a perfect bite as pizza should be. And yes, the little lunch personal pizzas we can cook in our oven, LOVE EM! Thanks. read more

Another pizza place with great reviews. Worked all day and wanted pizza and was denied service because I am from out of town and staying in a hotel. This is ridiculous and when you offer a service you shouldn't be able to refuse that service. Will never recommend this business even if they serve a great product. read more

Great pizza with a light crispy crust! We placed a pick up order, which was ready as promised. We would definitely return again.
