I had a treatment plan from a nearby corporate dental office for several fillings and other work, which would have cost me close to $2,000. I came in as I noticed they had an amazing deal of $100 for exam, x-ray and cleaning. Once the exam was finished, Dr. Dobra let me know that I did not need any work at all. She put watches on the teeth and said she would monitor them. Dr. Dobra said if I brush and floss every day and come for my 6 month check up and nothing progresses, then no need for any work. It just requires me to do my part, which I will gladly do. I am so happy I found a dental office that is family/ doctor owned, and that does not take advantage of patients by making them do unnecessary work. You saved me hard earned money which helps my family. Additionally, when I had my cleaning it was so gentle and thorough that I could not believe the deal. The doctor was so caring - this office is a true hidden gem. My visit was like a SPA experience. Everyone should come to this office. I will be a patient for life!

As far as the Senior Dentist Jamie Sanders - she seemed eager to make it right but my records were already exposed. Aside from this; the office is small and as a patient, I could hear everyone's dental needs due to the lack of walls protecting people's personal dental privacy needs. I heard courses of action, proceedings on medications; so forth and so on. Also, the technology for X-rays is just not there. On a positive: The technicians on the floor are super friendly and do try to help make each patient comfortable. The office is in a great location (right off the 10 freeway) and the entrance/consumer seating area was super quaint and comfortable. I decided to seek other dentistry experts for my dental needs. Perhaps this is a lesson for the future and patients can try this place in hopes that their rights are not violated also. Thanks for reading.

The cleaning experience Is always great. However, I'm not…read moresure what exactly happened to this place. I usually come in for x-rays, cleaning, and I fill in my front tooth which I chip frequently with some sort of enamel and a UV light hardener. It's nothing permanent, but I'm OK with that. I'm normally taken care of the same exact day, but this time was a little different. The new dentist said she didn't have enough time to take care of me and that was that. They didn't fill my tooth, which is specifically what I came in for, but they were too busy to do it. Despite me calling the same day of my appointment and asking if they had an opening. It was clearly just a hand into my pocket as if they needed to make a quick $200 off some x-rays and the cleaning. Now it feels like it's more about the sale and less about the smiles. I've been a client since 2011. The most wonderful and original dentist passed away recently. This place has made a turn for the worst. Wouldn't recommend anymore.

I would only recommend this dental office with strong reservations…read more One major issue I experienced was consistently extremely painful and stressful dental cleanings. After recently visiting other dental offices, I realized that cleanings should not be that uncomfortable. Though I do have a lot of respect for dental hygienists--their job of cleaning people's mouths is incredibly difficult, and I know I couldn't do this job myself. One time, they upsold me a very expensive mouthwash that cost over $50. I bought it because my cleanings were always very painful, and they claimed it would help by preventing buildup. But it didn't make any difference--it was a complete waste of money. I was a patient here for about five years, and another issue was that over time it became clear that communication was consistently lacking. The staff never directly explained their concerns with me. Good and timely communication helps prevent much bigger issues down the line, but unfortunately, that standard wasn't met here. Additionally, I never even knew who the actual dentist was--his name or even if it was the same person each time I visited. There was also a billing or coding error during one of my visits. Despite it being the office's responsibility to resolve and they actually promised to do so, I had to resolve the issue myself despite myself not being on the expert on the field. If you live in the area, I recommend exploring or at least looking into other options, such as Gentle Dental in Palm Valley or a private dental practice. These alternatives generally offer better continuity of care, lower staff turnover, and honest communication in difficult situations. And the dental cleaning to my honest experience is much less painful.

Personally I always dreaded going to the dentist as my childhood dentist caused me so much trauma. I avoided both doctors and dentists like the plague. Good thing I happened to be searching Yelp and found the best reviews of this place. I arrived with so many nerves, but left there feeling so happy and grateful that I found Dr. Catalina and her staff. The staff are professional, helpful and follow all protocols to protect their patients health and safety. I come from a family background of folks in the medical field and know proper protocols for patient health and noticed each individual make the proper decisions to follow health safety and sanitation guidelines. I was impressed at how they handled each task and how Dr. Catalina herself made me feel at ease, confident and comfortable in the chair. I couldn't believe it, but yes.. now I regularly attend dental appointments and know that when I step into her office, I will be taken care of and welcomed. I feel transformed and love by Dr. Catalina and her staff. From the All-Knowing Receptionist to the Hygienist to the Boss and everyone in between! I absolutely recommend Aesthetic Dental to everyone and anyone. Subsequently and sadly, I recently lost dental insurance and the staff let me know there are affordable cash rates so I could still attend so I'll be seeing them again in a few short months. Thanks Catalina and Staff for your superior service and care!
