So I was at my dentist, unable to get numb and when they realized a previous dentist had put a crown on a cracked tooth they immediately stopped and called Dr Pace's office and was able to get me in immediately. The office staff are very friendly, modern and very clean inside. I was immediately taken back for X-rays, the dental assistant was a sweetheart, she was actually training a new assistant and let me just say this, she was really awesome giving the new guy great pointers and had a lot of patience. Dr Pace came in and I explained what had been going on the last few weeks. I explained to him I'm pretty scared about this whole ordeal and he promised to make me feel comfortable and to take care of me which he did! I never felt a thing and he constantly asked if I was ok. This is a very professional office who seem to genuinely care for their patients. This procedure was done yesterday afternoon about 330... and it's currently about 845am and I have already received a call asking if I'm doing ok, if I had any questions about my follow up, which I really appreciated. If I ever had to see an Endodontics again without hesitation I would be back and I would highly recommend! read more

If you need a root canal or oral surgery, this is the guy to go to. It took me a month to get use to the idea that I needed oral surgery. I thought OUCH! and CREEPY. AS it turned out, my experience at Northwest Endodontics was AMAZING! I was in Dr. Pace's chair for 2 hours getting both a rootcanal and oral surgery done and I NEVER FELT A THING! His work is outstanding. He gave me a perscription for pain pills which were totally effective and not even needed after three days. The staff is cheerful and helpful. They called a few days later just to ask how I was doing. I go back in a week so he can visually check to make sure everything is healing as it should. I'll go back much later for a final check. I can't recommend this guy highly enough. I had a fantastic experience. read more

Two reasons for my 1 star rating: 1- Don't give me your cell phone number Dr, if you don't plan toanswer it. I wanted to review this business and put a warning out for people that are a little squeamish about dentists. If you are such a person, this is not the place for you. I'm just going to describe my experience yesterday, because I really don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. I have a tooth that has a cavity and decaying, it's a molar so my dentist referred me to Dr. Pace because he doesn't do root canals on molars. His office staff made me the appointment so I had no interaction with this office before I called the morning of my appointment to ask what my cost and expectations could be. I was concerned right away because when I asked the woman on the phone what to expect she put me on hold two separate times to get an answer and her "patching me up" answer was vague and not super comforting. So I walk into the place at my scheduled time and I'm handed paperwork to fill out, very normal, very routine. What wasn't routine and struck me as odd since I had been to a dentist four days prior, was the consent form that I had to sign warning me that if I contracted Covid at this facility I would not have any legal recourse, very odd and offputting, but these are new times and I signed it and didn't think anything more of it. Until I took my paperwork up to the front desk and realized that perhaps one of the reasons I was signing this form is that their front office staff wears their facemasks beneath their noses, I expected a little more delegation out of a medical office. Then a very young lady came to get me, brought me back to the room where she couldn't get through her "Covid questions" without giggling (not a funny subject) and then spoke to me like I was not a referred patient, like I walked in off of the sidewalk and they had no idea what was going on with me, doesn't leave a very comforting feeling. I just chalked it up to youth and that the doctor would be in shortly and I'm sure he would make me much more comfortable than my experience had so far. Enters Dr. pace, who was "friendly", gave me pretty painful shots to numb my mouth with very little conversation and then told me he'd be back in 10 minutes to check on me. Not even two minutes after I had just had three needles injected into my mouth I was asked to stand up, gather my things and was walked to the front desk to settle up my bill. At this point, I was shaking, because those shots are extremely painful and my nerves after that had really got to me, no one seemed to care and I was informed they needed to close their books out for the day. My suggestion is the next time they have to do this to a patient, come back and let me still be seated as you collect your money. I sat for over 20 minutes waiting for the doctor to come back in, which happens, but with someone like myself and my fear of dentists, having two and three patients going at one time where other people are having to wait in anticipation for their procedure is just not my cup of tea. I've never experienced anything like this and I will assure that I don't ever again. It is such a tiny office, that I was able to overhear two of the nurses in the room next to me having a conversation about their day, both while pulling their facemasks down I guess to be able to talk better, I didn't love the way this office handled Covid. I had made it clear to both the young lady and the doctor that I have anxiety and I was concerned about a panic attack. That's when they leaned me back in the chair and asked me to put a dark pair of glasses on my face so they could both of hover over my head, I expressed some concerns and instead of reassurance or concern for my well-being, it was explained to me by the doctor that this was for his liability and that if anything were to fly into my eyes he'd be in real big trouble. So I guess I can kick rocks, have a panic attack, etc, just as long as he doesn't get sewed. The root canal took forever and I don't believe that I was spoken to for the entire almost hour and a half he was working. He and the nurse talked, even joking about how she doesn't drive on the freeways, as I am laying there trying not to have a panic attack, I just didn't feel like the tone or the conversation were appropriate. I know when I questioned wearing the dark glasses that I upset the doctor and he made that very clear to me from the way he treated me from that moment forward. This place is why people hate dentists and please if you have a small child, do not go here, these type of dentists offices are why I have the horrible phobias that I do to this day. I certainly hope for the sake of my root canal that his dentistry is better than his bedside manner. Lesson learned? When your initial instincts tell you to leave, don't just chalk that up to avoidance of the procedure, I had some significant bells going off yesterday and if I hadn't needed to get done what I had done in a timely manner, I would've walked out. read more

Had a bad toothache over the weekend getting really bad Monday am. His staff got me in to be evaluated Monday at noon. Quick and accurate diagnosis and he worked me in for a root canal that was painless and quick. Very deft work and I was back in my car driving home pain free. Dr Pace and staff are great ! read more

This is a great place for endodontic work. Both my wife and I have used Dr. Scott Pace's services for implants. He is just great: quality work, full explanations of what is going on, and genuine concern for our well-being. He never gave us the feeling he was rushing - always felt he was taking as much time as needed to do a good job and keep us informed. The office staff is also excellent - they were personable and professional - no matter the issue I brought to them. They always helped - I never had the feeling I was interrupting them. I was referred to Dr. Pace by my dentist several years ago. After a very thorough exam he determined that I didn't need a root canal after all. My wife who already suffers from chronic pain was his patient recently. His personable caring approach to diagnosis was obvious again as he proceeded to be absolutely sure the problem was the targeted tooth. The tooth did need a root canal procedure that turned out to be a very calm and easy experience for her. The efficiency and extraordinary efforts by the front desk and whole staff were a welcome experience for what began a very serious problem for us. read more

Lynn at the front desk is an absolute nightmare to deal with. She oozes misery out of her pores like a stinky aroma. Immediately upon walking in she was rolling her eyes at me, snatching papers from me, walking away mid question or just flat out ignoring me. I don't know what I did to deserve that treatment right off the bat but something was definitely off with her. This was when the election was going on and I am a Hispanic woman. I hope that wasn't the reason a complete stranger would have such disdain for me immediately upon seeing me. I have never been treated so poorly for no reason. Finally after she snapped at me several times and pulled her mask down while talking to me to be snarky. I decided to tell her what a miserable, awful human I thought she was. Please if you do not like your job go somewhere else or work in the back where you don't have to deal with people!! I let Dr. Pace know what happened and that i will not be returning. He said he has never heard of the front office being rude but a quick glance at Google reviews easily tells a different story. He didn't seem too sorry to have lost my business and almost seemed as if me making a stink about her pulling her mask down was comical. At a dental office you are incredibly vulnerable and completely trusting that they are following CDC guidelines. Lynn seems to think it's her office and she can do and treat people however she wants. Unfortunately, she may be right. A root canal is already unpleasant. I don't need to be treated badly before the torture happens and as a paying customer! I went somewhere else. I have had a root canal in the past, but my experience this time around was great :) everyone is friendly and the office is welcoming and clean. I had my root canal scheduled and taken care of quickly. I have been a patient of Dr. Pace's for several years. He has done a couple of root canals on me. I had a root canal for several years and that was done by another dentist and it bothered me for years. He reworked the root canal and found it was touching a nerve. When he was done it the pain I had for years was gone. Another time I was told by my dentist that I needed a root canal and he pinpointed my problem immediately. I had gum recession from brushing with a hard toothbrush. He said you don't need a root canal you can use a certain brand of toothpaste and see if that helps. If not then we will see about a root canal. However the soft toothbrush and the toothpaste for sensitive gums worked great. He is amazing and knows his stuff. Thanks Dr. Pace. read more

Dr. Pace did an amazing job, I was scared and heard horror stories about root canals but that was not the case. Office was so nice, everyone that worked there was so nice and welcoming. They had tv's in the ceilings and he made me feel so comfortable. My tooth was a little sore after the numbing wore off but next day didn't even hurt or feel like I had work done on it. Had a root canal with Dr. Pace. He spent quite a bit of time doing various tests ahead of time to ensure that it was the correct tooth that I was having pain on since the xray didn't show my problem. I was comforted when he said, " I want to be sure that we don't do anything that won't help you and I want to be sure we get to the exact area of the problem." The root canal wasn't much different than a filling. Took while but no pain. Was very impressed with the office and the Dr. Had my root canal today and numbness is worn off and didn't even fill pain prescription as Ibprofen is good enough. read more
