So... we've talked about going here for quite sometime because I love a decent Rueben. We get…read morethere, it's Sunday early evening. The store is pretty much empty. Its interior is super cute with a diner type atmosphere and a full bar no less!? We walk in and adhere to the signage that states to wait for hostess for seating... so we wait. and wait.. and wait some more where a nice lady comes out of the kitchen and realizes we are standing there. I was borderline becoming impatient and was about to leave. So we get seated. Check out the menu where it all sounds good. I love the premise where they seem to admitting they steal recipes from other stores around the country and recreate them here and that's how they became 'All the Best'. So I ordered half Rueben with pastrami and corned beef, a side of matzo ball soup. The lovely Mrs ordered 1/2 hot brisket sandwich and chicken noodle soup. No clue how long it took from ordering to being at our table but it was a bit of time. The sandwiches are okay. The bread on both sandwiches was way too hard to enjoy the actual sandwiches as a whole. Not a lot of meat. The soups... in a perfect world, your soup would be piping hot. Ours were actually unusually cold? Like they were straight out of the fridge and somebody forgot to microwave them to warm the up? I had never had matzo ball soup so I had to google if it was served cold like gazpacho or vichyssoise. So... for $40 with tip this was a bit egregious for me but hey... we finally tried it.

It's such a unique gatherall for food and drinks with an ambiance that truly makes it stand out. It's not huge like some others but it's brimming with character. There are four food spots and a bar with great drink options surrounded by lots of comfortable seating. The food spots include Nood Bar (noodles), Kung Fu BBQ (Asian BBQ), The Burger Bistro, and Fete (bowls and salads). Here's the fiod we tried: The burger bistro -turkey burger -Brussels sprouts -chicken parm eggrolls Nood Bar -Japanese fried chicken Bao (3) -Korean corn dog Kung fu bbq -3 smoked brisket birria tacos with a side of Mac and cheese If was tough to decide an absolute favorite of everything, but I thought the bao was the best, followed by the eggrolls, and the birria tacos. All of it was very tasty though and I can't say any dish was remotely disappointing. The service from each spot, including the bar, was great too. I'd absolutely recommend checking it out.

The noodles had chili oil and cheddar-infused pork broth, Japanese fried chicken, bok choy, fresh corn, scallions, pickled bamboo, grated Parmesan, and black garlic oil. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and the cheese pull that the noodles had. The service was decent. I wouldn't say its anything to cry home about - at both the bar and the restaurant - but the staff was pleasant. I will say I was a bit concerned regarding the food safety at the Noods Bar. I noticed that none of the people preparing food were wearing gloves or a hair net. In fact, the young lady who took my order at the register was processing basil without gloves. What I found most alarming was when the time came for me to order, she simply put the basil to the side for a moment - took my order by touching the ipad and took my card for payment - and went right back to the basil without washing her hands.

They're everywhere and smell amazing when you walk in - DiSalvo's Deli is no different and is like walking into a family-owned NYC throwback establishment. If you like NY-style subs, fresh made pizza, pastas, sauces, breads, mozzarella, and a huge selection of Italian imports, DiSalvo's Deli needs to be your next stop. You order at the counter, find a seat and they bring the food out. You then pay at the check out counter after you eat, which is something different. We ordered the italian sub and chicken parm. They are sold as "half" subs, but still about 9-10" long. The Italian sub was good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the crunchy baguette bread. Next time I would get regular soft sub bread. The Italian dressing was A+ and made the sandwich. I wish it had more dressing. The chicken parm was extra cheesy, and the breaded chicken was good. We noticed that some people's sandwiches came with house chips, but ours didn't and we weren't exactly sure why. They also have a full array of different pasta salads, and a whole case of desserts. Aside from the deli, they sell a variety of pastas, sauces, and just about anything else you'd need to make an authentic Italian dinner.
