Complete scam. These guys took my order for some lights and didn't ship it. When I followed up asking for a ship date, they gave a new date which came and passed with no further comment. Followed up again and they refunded my money, and promised to ship product. Followed up a few more weeks, but I soon gave up, as I kept receiving empty promises to ship. So I had a Kuna smart camera and light which broke, and I wanted to replace it with the same model (it was a nice design). The manufacturer did not make it any longer, but I came across Stars and Stripes because their website indicated they still carried what I sought. I put in my order, and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually I reached out, and they said that it should be there soon. So I waited. And waited. I reached out again. Another promise to try and get a shipping confirmation number. I eventually asked for a refund, which they did honor. I was refunded on my credit card the next day. Curiously, they said that it was too late to cancel the order, so they said I should expect to eventually receive my light, which I could keep (though, that was several weeks ago, and it hasn't come yet, so I suspect they just didn't know). I debated about whether to leave 1, 2, or 3 stars. On the plus side, they responded quickly to my follow-up inquiries, and they did issue me a refund when I eventually demanded it. On the negative side, they did not send me any proactive updates on the order, and of course, I never got what I wanted. Looking back, I suspect that this business is legit, but is just a drop shipper, placing orders from somewhere upstream perhaps in Asia. It may work out some of the time, but if you can get what you want via Amazon or whatever, that is probably preferable. read more

I'd give them no stars if I could. Just read the other comments, we all have similar stories. Ordered a light, was told it's in stock, charged my card, light never came. Sent several emails, was told several times it was on its way but they would not provide a tracking number. They then said they would refund and send the light for free for our trouble. Still no light and no refund. Will wait a few more days and dispute the charges with my bank. I'm honestly not sure how they stay in business when they don't actually sell anything. read more

How does anyone turn a profit refunding everyone's money and shipping the product at no charge, this illegitimate company. So far as I check for reviews on this company, all reviews point to a scam. purchased last week, they give an app called shop you upload to track shipping, but you can not track a shipment that has never gone out for delivery. I have sent 3 emails no, the first email had a quick follow-up letting me know I would receive my shipment today Saturday 10/15/2022. It is now 9:05 PM, 3rd email, They replied and said they would track the package on Monday. My bank protects my purchases. But it's such a waste of time and energy to deal with bad scam businesses like this one. Will wait until Monday and go from there. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I wish I had read the reviews before I placed my "order" with this company. I never received any updates. I always had to call or email for updates on when I would receive my order. Always the same answer, "we will check with our supplier and get back to you". He finally refunded my money and said he would still ship my order when it arrived. I called and emailed him for 6 months! I finally wised up and ordered the same lights from another company and I received my lights within 3 weeks! This company is obviously engaged in some kind of scheme. They don't actually fulfill orders. The charge your credit card, then give you a runaround on some issue with shipping, and then after a couple weeks they refund your card. Maybe playing the float? This company offers lower prices to get the order and processes payment but does not ship the product. I contacted customer support after waiting several weeks for my lighting order to arrive and was told that their supplier was shipping he order and i would receive within a week. Two weeks later and i have not received the order. I contacted them again to request a refund but i will probably need to make a fraud claim to my credit card company to get my money back. Pretty strange company, at least their Austin TX office. They have a well-developed website, so you think maybe you're dealing with a professional outfit. I went out there to look at their products and, um, there is no storefront. No signs. No nothing. So I call them. The 800 phone number listed won't connect. So I e-mail them - "Oh yeah, that phone number is screwy, call me at this number instead!" So I do. Yes, they don't have a sign out front. They work out of someone else's store. A few weeks later I try to e-mail them again. No response. I may try them again in a few weeks, but I'm not impressed. read more

Very poor experience ordering here. Order was paid and processed. I then had to follow up on when the item would ship. I was told a date then nothing, no tracking info is provided. I had to ask again by email for tracking. I was told by a gentleman named Brad "sorry our supplier is not good and we have had 3 other orders with this problem. Here's a refund" and that was it. No effort to resolve. Seems like this happens to them often with how fast they refunded me. I would recommend to purchase elsewhere and save yourself the trouble. However I challenge Stars and Stripes to prove me wrong and actually have my order shipped. I would then gladly pay for it. read more

Please do not waste your time with this company. I ordered lights on 4/12 I never received any shipping information. On 4/26, I sent an email inquiring on the status of my order. I was advised they were updating their notification system and the order would go out the following day, 4/27. On 5/9, I asked for a full refund. due to not receiving my order and no further updates on the order. I was contacted by Brandon who stated he was the sales manager. He stated he was using someone new with the manufacturing company. Brandon stated he would refund my order in full, as well as send my shipment without any cost to me. I did receive a full refund, however on this date 5/24 I have not received my order or any further information. Please do not waste your time and money on this company. I asked for a refund months later and they said for your trouble we will send it for free, LIES, LIES and more LIES. They told me on at least seven different occasions, over a 3-month period, it was sent overnight. I never received it. I asked for a tracking number probably ten times and they would not provide one, of course not, because they never sent it. Then they tell you it is going out today, that today never happens.
