While Doc & pup waited outside for me I went in intending to browse but ended up finding things that caught my eye to give to Doc for inviting us to celebrate sweet and good T's 4 th birthday celebration. The shop person welcomed me, asked where I was from and how long I was staying. He let me wander the entire rectangular shop's perimeter then zeroed in on the middle cases and tables of goods. As I passed one section of the shop a wonderful fragrance teased my nose- ooh what is it with so many bottles before me. I went toward the shop guy and had to ask. He let me smell 2 products. One I knew wasn't it. The infused pomegranate was $60 and the parfume was $120+ so I selected the artichoke looking or pomegranate little sculpture. They have the most unique cards and items that subtly gave myself a whimsy yes: get it or a chuckle. I needed to get them. Doc was correct and knows me like a book. She said Go in, you like that kind of stuff. Yes indeedy!!! I really enjoyed it in there and so glad I went in.

I came in looking for a journal and ended up leaving with some cute clothes and jewelry. This is a fantastic place for femme fashion. They offer clothes, jewelry, candles, cute gifts, and more. There were two fitting rooms in the back. It is a smaller store, but not too cramped. The fitting room was huge. There was seating inside of it and outside. I was kindly greeted when I came in. I tried on three things and fell in love with two. The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase. I highly recommend coming here for cute clothes.

Gifts, cooking gifts, Jelly Cats, religious gifts, candles, jewelry, men's gifts, stationery... I could go on and on. Such a lovely selection. Gorgeous cookbooks! A truly great place to buy someone a special gift (or yourself). The employees/owner were SO nice and fun and friendly. I felt at home and comfortable. My main complaint about Acorn is although the children's aspect of their selection is adorable and super cute, their home decor palette is not at all my taste. The service was friendly and warm but I'd love to see them focus on children's items similar to Bella Vita and phase out some of slightly random decor that doesn't seem to make sense in the space. Overall, Acorn Shop is an adorable store that just needs more of an edit to really shine.
