While Doc & pup waited outside for me I went in intending to browse but ended up finding things that caught my eye to give to Doc for inviting us to celebrate sweet and good T's 4 th birthday celebration. The shop person welcomed me, asked where I was from and how long I was staying. He let me wander the entire rectangular shop's perimeter then zeroed in on the middle cases and tables of goods. As I passed one section of the shop a wonderful fragrance teased my nose- ooh what is it with so many bottles before me. I went toward the shop guy and had to ask. He let me smell 2 products. One I knew wasn't it. The infused pomegranate was $60 and the parfume was $120+ so I selected the artichoke looking or pomegranate little sculpture. They have the most unique cards and items that subtly gave myself a whimsy yes: get it or a chuckle. I needed to get them. Doc was correct and knows me like a book. One thing I find frustrating about a lot of gift shops in 2026 is that they all seem to carry exactly the same trinkets, presumably mass-produced internationally and then stamped with local names. Having worked in and visited so many parks over the past few years, I can't help but notice how uniform and un-original the souvenirs are becoming. So, it is really refreshing to step into a gift shop that has an eclectic, unique, fun selection of reasonably-priced gifts that you would be unlikely to find anywhere else. While the merchandise at Harbor View Gifts was not necessarily bougie or locally made, it was definitely different from what you would find in Every State Park. The cashier who helped me was very friendly. As a bonus, this gift shop is located literally right on the edge of the bay. The parking lot could double as a great picnic spot. I ended up leaving with a Bodega Bay squid magnet and a small bag of taffy, which I assume was from the little taffy shop in the parking lot. The taffy alone would have been worth the stop, since it was as good as the taffy from my favorite taffy place, Candy Heaven in Sacramento.

I came in looking for a journal and ended up leaving with some cute clothes and jewelry. This is a fantastic place for femme fashion. They offer clothes, jewelry, candles, cute gifts, and more. There were two fitting rooms in the back. It is a smaller store, but not too cramped. The fitting room was huge. There was seating inside of it and outside. I was kindly greeted when I came in. I tried on three things and fell in love with two. The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase.
