This boutique store is GORGEOUS! I absolutely loved my time exploring this shop. Everything is so beautifully curated. I came in looking for a journal and ended up leaving with some cute clothes and jewelry. This is a fantastic place for femme fashion. They offer clothes, jewelry, candles, cute gifts, and more. There were two fitting rooms in the back. It is a smaller store, but not too cramped. The fitting room was huge. There was seating inside of it and outside. I was kindly greeted when I came in. I tried on three things and fell in love with two. The dress I wanted to purchase seemed to have poor adjustable straps and when I asked if there was any other dresses in my size with adjustable straps that didn't get stuck, the salesperson was really sweet and went to the back to grab me one. Unfortunately, the dress she gave me had worse straps and was not my size. I'm glad I checked because I would've purchased a dress not in my size had I not noticed. Do know that things are on the pricier side here. It is a boutique clothing store afterall. Since I am here for a birthday trip, I looked at it as a birthday purchase. I highly recommend coming here for cute clothes. read more

This is a cute shop with a nice variety of clothes and gifts. We walked up and down the main street and found that everything here in St. Helena is quite expensive. I'm not going to say this store is not, but I did manage to find a pair of adorable heart-shaped earrings for the reasonable price of $12.50. read more

Super nice shop with lots of interesting clothes, scarves and jewelry, not to mention gifty type items. My sister and I wandered in one day and were greeted, but not bugged. She tried on a couple things and found the dressing rooms to be clean and spacious. While she was trying on half the store, I looked at earrings and picked a few pair that were gorgeous, but inexpensive. Seriously, every time I wear a pair, I get compliments! Compliments for $20 earrings but never for the ones that cost me $200! I'll always stop by Gathered every time I want a jewelry box refresh or have a gift to buy someone. Very, very nice shop, nice people, nice merchandise, good prices. You can't go wrong! read more

Terrible customer service!!!!! DO NOT SHOP here for anything if you're visiting. If purchasing check charges and merchandise. They left a tag on my purse and then were incredibly rude refusing to replace or refund when the ink tag will ruin the item I spent time picking out. Then they accused me of trying to "get a free bag" even though it was their mistake. Beyond insulting given it was only a $20 bag which was the least expensive thing I bought. I'm never shopping her again and you shouldn't either. BUYER BEWARE. read more

Was ready to make a few purchases but completely put off by the two sales reps who made zero effort to greet me and my daughter as we entered and browsed the boutique (4/10 at 4:30 pm) -- although they cheerfully greeted two other customers after us. Thought we'd look through the racks a bit more thinking their responsiveness/attention might lead to a sale. Looks like they left money on the table. They could do a better job attending/greeting ALL customers. Will definitely not "gather" here again. read more

The two ladies working there were so nice - not pushy at all - just the right level of authentic good salesmanship. Gathered is a pleasant little boutique in downtown St. Helena. There are hipster retro vintage t-shirts of Elvis, David Bowie, and Johnny Cash. It's got a dazzling array of clothing, gifts, and souvenirs for such a small space. The saleswomen/owners are friendly&they aren't pushy at all. Browsing it is relaxing. It's a peaceful spot, when downtown St. Helena gets chaotic. The t-shirt selection is unique&reasonable. While there are many vacant buildings in St. Helena, Gathered is welcoming. This store was adorable! I love little shops like this. They had some super cute clothes as reasonable prices. I tried on a velvet maxi dress for under 100, but sadly it didn't fit quite right. I did end up leaving with a pair of delicate gold hoops for 12 dollars! Lots of well priced jewelry, trinkets and clothes. I suggest stopping by to get yourself a little something as well. read more

Gathered is a locally owned boutique that is so cute! My friends and I always go there for presents and for fresh finds. They always have something new that just came out from Free People or other brands that are usually found at a bigger shopping center. For St. Helena they are fairly priced and the staff are willing to work with you with returns and store credit. They support local jewelers from Bodega Bay and other surrounding areas. The owners have another store in Calistoga called Rove and they have more products there that are the same style, which is so cute. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is willing to spend a little more money for great quality and to support local businesses. read more

I have shopped at this store every time I take a trip to Healdsburg... at least two times a year. I absolutely love it! They have so many unique jewelry items and clothes; some from designers I know and love [like Free People] and some that you'd never find in another store. It's perfect if you're looking to buy a quick gift for a friend [jewelry ranges in price with some unique/beautiful pieces that are under $40!]... or buy something fun for yourself. I treat myself to something every time - hard not to! I am a local resident from the Napa Valley. I always try to shop local as much as I can. I have shopped at both Gathered and Rove in Calistoga and have been disappointed by the customer service in both locations. I agree with the 5 stars for inventory, however the friendliness and helpfulness leave a ton to be desired. Downright RUDE... I thought it was certain employees but then during the holidays when I was asking questions of the woman that worked there it seemed to pain her to be of assistance. Like you're being a bother. She said "I'm the owner". It's unfortunate as the best advertisement is word of mouth. The staff must treat visitors better or it wouldn't have 5 stars. read more

Great little boutique with tons of adorable clothes, gifts and accessories! I happened upon it while visiting the area last weekend. Found a cute dress, but needed another size. They found it immediately by phoning their sister shop in Calistoga - Rove Boutique! It was waiting for me when we arrived later that afternoon and it's perfect! Also found a darling beaded necklace from their large selection that looks perfect with it. Hooray, a wonderful store for cool, tasteful and beautiful women's clothing in lovely downtown St Helena, CA that has non-St Helena prices! Love this little boutique owned and run by 2 sisters with great taste. I rarely shop in St Helena for clothes. Sunshine Market, Steve's Hardware and Safeway are the only stores I frequent. I happened upon this new shop and went in.I was thrilled! It used to be a lovely yarn store I would shop in. They also have a store in Healdsburg that, no doubt, is equally awesome. They are warm and friendly and their prices are fair. It's the only clothing store of its kind. Thank you for an affordable and great clothing store in our wonderful town. When I returned shoes that were a gift from my husband, the owner, Sandra Maas said they looked like they were worn. She said that they were sale items and not returnable, but the sales clerk who sold him the shoes said it was no problem to return. She acted like it was a favor to me to give me credit for the shoes. I was really disappointed by her response, and if they have a store policy of no return of sale items it should be stated at the time of purchase. read more
