Locals can't really shop here all the time, but it's perfect for special occasions. It's where I would spend all my spare cash. What a pleasant discovery!…read more My husband and I were wandering around town and stumbled across this lovely store. Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the owners. The hats are BEAUTIFUL and the Alpaca collection had a bespoke feel to them. I saw a beautiful Alpaca coat. The make and quality was great and, because it was Alpaca, it was warm but not heavy. I walked away (not wanting to be impulsive) but it didn't take long - maybe 5 minutes - before I made my way back for the coat. Next time you're in Yountville, stop by, say hello, and take a look!

I took half a day off to drive up and take advantage of a sale they promoted on social media. What…read morea huge mistake! When I arrived and with an excited smile asked to see the sale section, the owner gave me an unpleasant look and said: "the hats are in the back (behind the counter), just tell me what you want and I'll see if we have it". I told her I wanted to browse the hats, she refused. She asked my size, which I did not know. What an unpleasant experience, eventually she brought out a couple of hats and threw them in front of me. All I can say is that if you want to announce a sale, then don't treat your customer who drives a good distance with such disdain. I even dressed up for the trip. I can promise you I won't darken their doorway again. Ever. My wife had been excited for me to get a nice Panama hat, and when she heard the story she called the store the next day and had a conversation with the owner (I do not remember her name), who promised to call me with an apology. Even given that chance I have never spoken with her.

When I explained my "situation" the worker came and unlocked the door for me. I bought 2 pair of underwear, (he paid for the third) and one of the best and favorite shirts that I have in my wardrobe. This is what service is about. I will ALWAYS go back there whenever I'm in the Napa Valley. Thank you guys.

The deer park location is just a hop, skip and a jump up Deer Park Rd, right off of the Silverado Trail. The store is open every tuesday and the first Sunday of every month. The things I don't love is that they don't price anything, so you have to ask at checkout. It is very arbitrary. Low end brands can be same or higher than brands that retail higher, for no apparent reason. Not condition or style. Great for high end brands if you find. But random. I also find the random schedule inconvenient.
