The store is very well organized and has a little bit of everything. There are separate sections for men's and women's clothing, along with games, kitchen items, home décor, vintage treasures, and many other unique finds. Everything is neatly displayed, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. What I especially liked was the variety. Whether you're looking for clothing, a vintage piece, a kitchen item, or just enjoy treasure hunting, there is something here for everyone. If you're spending time in downtown Mill Valley, this is definitely worth a stop. It's a cute, welcoming shop and a perfect place to wander through after lunch or while exploring the area. Highly recommended for thrift store lovers and anyone who enjoys discovering unexpected gems.

I love the selection, have found fun toys for my daughter when she was young and re-donated when she grew out of them. I have found some great cookware i.e., Corning Ware pieces, small kitchen appliances throughout the years. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. And they often have some sort of promotion with '1/2 off days' or everything green 1/2 off for St. Patricks day. Oh, and they often have throwback music playing which adds to the kitschy ambience.

Marin is the Mecca if you are either an ordinary shopper or a reseller in the high-end resale market this is a fabulous cause as well. They dress people who are looking for a new start and help them get professional clothes to go to interviews and such. The donations for the store come from very nice and wealthy donors in San Francisco and other areas of Marin County. The prices here are amazing. I mostly shop for myself but occasionally find something well enough price that I could resell it. They have a five dollar rack where they put everything that hasn't sold in two months. I found some amazing things on that rack today. I also bought myself some lovely things spent more than five dollars of course but not anywhere near the actual value of these designer pieces if you are anywhere near this place, you must stop by and support this wonderful cause.

If it wasn't for a man sitting on a mission style rocking chair with other folksy furniture outside- we may have just passed this one by. The proprietor (Mr. Farey) was friendly and cordially answered my questions regarding history of the quaint local store. Having lived in the area all his life- he acquainted us about the other stores to visit and suggested places regarding our specific interests. If you're into stained glass window art- there were a lot to choose from starting with simple acorn styles to fine mosaic style and Tiffany rose window style. There were simple art deco lamps, tables, chairs mostly wood, and old mirrors ( I love OLD mirrors). Fine Estate Sales will do their best to sell your product, or items in your estate. It is your decision to set a special price for an item, or, let their experts set the price. If you are not happy with this business, then let them know and negotiate. Be a business person and DEAL WITH the problem with the source. Deal with it as a business owner, instead of writing a long boring novel that lost my attention after merely looking at the size of the review. Everyone needs to understand, Fine Estate Sales, or any similar company, is not Macy's, Nordstroms, Nieman Marcus or Louis Vuitton, etc. So unless you set a price, or negotiate a contract before signing or amend the contract, there lies an agreement, hand shake, i.e. a contract. I understand you may not be happy, however, as I mentioned above, deal with it, and work with Martin and Valetta. They are here to make money for you and them. Thank you for everything Martin and Valetta, and miss The Candy Store.

As soon as I walked in, a lovely employee says: "Today, all yellow tags are 50% off. It's your lucky Friday the 13th!" - and it was! I learned that there are different deals based on the different days, and that they are a non-profit organization that helps contribute to local communities! From beginning to end, their customer service was pleasant and helpful - they set me up with a dressing room and made sure my hands were free to do more looking around. The store organization made it easy to find pieces within their well-curated collection: from funky to formal - and the various unique finds in-between.... My only wish is that they were open a bit later so that my partner could have looked around in the store as well because their men's clothes selection was also very impressive. (He was outside looking after the dog since animals are not allowed inside). Just as a heads up: there are little spaces in the dressing room, so it is not fully private.... but thankfully the staff was on it with their service so I felt safe the entire time. Also, there appeared to only be two dressing rooms, so I am happy that I arrived at the time I did. All-in-all, a wonderful experience and I look forward to the next time I am in Tiburon so that I can explore this store again.
