Cards!! - The image shows a wooden wall decorated with multiple rows of greeting cards and illustrated tiles. The greeting cards feature colorful, hand-drawn designs and messages, hung on strings with clothespins. Below, there are tiles with detailed illustrations of animals, flowers, and other motifs. A small table in the corner holds additional cards, stationery, and small items, with a box of supplies and a display of miniature books nearby.

Oh my goodness! This place is amazing!! I wasn't looking for it which made it even more spectacular!! So many amazing gifts, collectibles, jewelry, cards, mugs etc. Many of the items are handmade and created by local or international artisans. I could have easily spent $100 or more just on the beautiful cards! I settled on a beautiful hummingbird Mara coffee mug, a couple of cards, and a magnet to commemorate my trip!! This is definitely one of those places you lose track of time in! The employees were amazing. Very friendly and approachable and they had a cute little LGBTQ display, featuring cute cards, magnets, socks, and other LGBTQ items! I definitely can't wait to go back!

The Whimsical noise from wind chimes call me in this cozy store. The staff were very friendly and down to earth. One Kid want to pick a butterfly wind chime and took it from the display. The clerk did not get mad and she come over offer a fresh one from the back room. the products and merchandise were unique, artsy and filled with warm positive vibe. for example, the Soaps in picture were handcraft filled sparkles and flower/ fruit that so suaving to look at. and some soaps are fun and witty like "Soap for dog people: Smell like unconditional love" and soap for Cat people: smell like purring ". It make me want buy it but I am pump my soap out kind of person. overall Fun experience~

Wonderful little store full of so many fun, local trinkets and goodies. We're going on an international trip and wanted to bring some local favors to share on our journey. These Berkeley/California stickers are perfect!

I bought two gift boxes for new team members. My colleague just sent me a picture of what the box contained and I am so delighted! Fern's Garden even printed out (nicely) the gift message. I am so pleased. This is a million times better than an Amazon gift!

I first went to Fern's Garden in Long Beach, CA. What a great, fun & interesting shop full of so many wonderful treasures! Jewelry, pottery, artwork, stationary & so much more! Several months ago I learned that Fern was opening a second shop in the SF Bay Area! Yay!! Much closer to home! The Berkeley store is every bit as welcoming & nice as the LB location! I know I'll visit as often as possible! Fern S., the owner, is a wonderful woman! She's taken quite the liking to my granddaughter, Fern, and the feeling is definitely mutual! If you're looking for a unique gift or interesting things for yourself, go to Fern's Garden! You'll be glad you did!

Fern's Garden opened about 2 weeks ago.....what a welcome addition to Solano Avenue! As soon as I stepped in there I was dazzled! The items are displayed so nicely and the brightly painted walls give such a cheerful ambiance . I am an earring-holic....and I could easily choose 15 pairs of earrings...their prices are ery affordable and on my humble budget I was able yo.find a red pair if earrings for $5.95! There were these pretty earrings featuring the art of Boticelli, Frida, other artists....Wind Chime earrings ....and many more. There were also beautiful bracelets from delicate to chunky...leather, beaded, silver... Loads of necklaces ....all so pretty All kinds of wind chimes with the most beautiful tones I've ever heard! They come in a variety of sizes from quite large to smaller delicate ones for your ears or your car's rear view mirror. There is also a huge collection of wooden signs small for a shelf up to large ones for walls. Their messages are simple, sweet, funny and mostly hopeful. The lovely youbv woman at the counter told me that her mom is the owner and selects the items. 90% of the items arr made in thr U.S. I wish Fern's Garden much success! I'll happily be a return customer whenever I have some extra money.

Fern, the owner of Fern's Garden, is a true force of nature. She brings her creativity, inspiration and generosity of spirit into this space with a flourish. Upon entering her store I feel as though I have been transported to a magical place. The store offers a wide but cohesive variety of handmade gifts from around the world, including locally made - jewelry, soaps, cards, ornaments, dishes and original art for any occasion. Purchase something from this store and share in the joy!

I've shopped here frequently over the years. About a year ago I bought a sterling silver ring here…read morewith a blue stone. Unfortunately, the stone turned into a greenish brown color. I stopped by today to ask about it and was prepared to simply buy a new ring-- it was fairly inexpensive. The store was empty, and there were two people working there who did not greet me when I walked in, as they were busy complaining loudly about someone. I stepped up to the counter, and despite the workers standing behind the counter, and one person looking at me directly, they still didn't greet me. At one point, one looked like she was coming toward me, looked me in the eye and then grabbed her beverage and turned away. Finally I asked directly for help. I showed her the ring and asked to look at the identical one behind the counter. She got very nervous and told me they hadn't seen a stone turn brown before. She immediately told me that she would not contact the company for me, that I needed to do it myself. I hadn't even asked her to. She kept saying things like "well if it had been two weeks we maybe could help you." to which I responded, "do you expect a ring to turn brown after 2 weeks?" She then said she couldn't contact the company because they would "ask her questions" she didn't know the answer to. I have no answers either why a stone would turn brown with occasional wear, no chemicals, etc. I would think they would want to talk to the company about this if they are selling jewelry that turns brown. Anyway, I was just really turned off by the fact that they had an empty store, but yet basically told me I had to contact the wholesale distributor myself. It really seemed like these two are doing everything they can to do the least work possible! I typically think a nice thing about shopping at a local boutique would be the customer service.. not here. I did not buy a new ring, and will not shop here again.
