One thing I find frustrating about a lot of gift shops in 2026 is that they all seem to carry exactly the same trinkets, presumably mass-produced internationally and then stamped with local names. Having worked in and visited so many parks over the past few years, I can't help but notice how uniform and un-original the souvenirs are becoming. So, it is really refreshing to step into a gift shop that has an eclectic, unique, fun selection of reasonably-priced gifts that you would be unlikely to find anywhere else. While the merchandise at Harbor View Gifts was not necessarily bougie or locally made, it was definitely different from what you would find in Every State Park. The cashier who helped me was very friendly. As a bonus, this gift shop is located literally right on the edge of the bay. The parking lot could double as a great picnic spot. I ended up leaving with a Bodega Bay squid magnet and a small bag of taffy, which I assume was from the little taffy shop in the parking lot. The taffy alone would have been worth the stop, since it was as good as the taffy from my favorite taffy place, Candy Heaven in Sacramento.

These two little shops are packed full of vintage inspired treasures-everything from decor, to jewelry and little knick knacks to brighten your surroundings. The lady working the shop is very sweet and opened up the second shop for us to browse around in (if she's working alone, she'll switch up her location based on where the customer wants to look.) Many of her treasures are ocean inspired and perfect little souvenir reminders of your trip to Bodega Bay. My purchases included a vintgage design starfish keychain, a seagull patterned scarf and a silver octopus wall hanging that I used to display jewelry. Eclectic Amanda's is charming, affordable and features one-of-a-kind gifts in Bodega Bay.

Once I received tracking from FedEx it states that my package is expected to be delivered on Thursday July 16th, a whole 8 days later after purchasing the 3 day shipping option. Along with this I had also made a similar item purchase from a boutique in Maui Hawai'i on the same day. I have already received my item from Maui through usps on July 13th. I did see that there is a bungalow store location on Maui but thought I would purchase from the California location thinking I would receive my purchased item sooner as they had other shipping options. I was definitely wrong. At this point I will not be making other purchases. My review is all based on my online purchase experience and once I receive my product (expecting it to be good) I hope to be able to add another star to my review.

Inside you will find hats and jewelry along with shirts and seaters with prints that represent San Francisco from the Richmond District to the Golden Gate Bridge to the Sunset Dunes. You will find posters with San Francisco related prints along with tote bags. Fleetwood is also an art gallery and also has screen printing workshops. This is a good place to shop for clothing that is artistic which has a connection to San Francisco. The entire place is decorated beautifully and tastefully and it doesn't feel like everything is stuffed in every nook and cranny. There is an upstairs filled with more ceramics, beautiful pieces of vintage tansus (Japanese wooden chests) and other forms of delicate art. I even loved the peaceful Japanese garden you can enjoy from inside the shop if you sit and relax on their couch. Ren is such a cordial and friendly proprietor. I enjoyed chatting with him and hearing about his love for Japanese art. He was celebrating three decades of his successful business back in February, 2025. We stopped in for a scheduled gyotaku (fish print) demonstration on this Saturday afternoon. The artist was Chris Dewees and he showed all the attendees how to do an indirect fish print on silk. It was an interesting process using a medium-sized black fish he caught himself! He showed each step of the process and generously shared what type of paper, paints and other supplies he uses. It was interesting to watch this process transpire until ultimately, the fish print was done. He paints in the eyes later. There was a beautiful collection of other fish prints he has done, many for sale. He said he has a story for each of his works of art. He shared a few stories which added to the uniqueness of his art. During a previous visit, Ren invited us to view his larger Japanese garden behind the store. Absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. I understand the merchandise changes regularly so we look forward to visiting his beautiful shop again very soon. This artist's work will be displayed from April 25 - June 8, 2025. Employees are all personable, professional and ready to help.

I needed a tropical bouquet for our jet quickly and to make the situation more complex, I needed this to be delivered to a private airport on a weekend morning and my over the top request was coming in to Dawsha LATE after hours! I had gotten a referral from a friend of a friend because I grew up near here in Northern California and she had done amazing things for events and it was, IMO, a long stretch! I reached out figuring , 'what do I have to lose?' Those of us who work in these types of arenas are met with ALL sorts of situations ALL the time.. IF I get told 'no' or ghosted.. I will move on! Dawsha totally surprised me and responded to me on my work phone IN MINUTES of my request!!! MOREOVER, her florals to my tropical need was beyond my expectation and GORGEOUS!!! EVEN under my budget! I was blown away! To have these types of florals available to me for this pop up trip on a weekend, after hours, and delivered to a private terminal on the 'fly' was mind blowing and it truly alleviated a LOT of stress and worry for me. They lasted while we flew to the Hawaiian islands and popped around between them at altitude which is pretty rare. I changed out the water every day and treated them kindly. I have now added Seibel's Unique Florals to my preferred florist and advised the private terminal(s) within the area to please use Dawsha and her brother for the gorgeous florals and seriously amazing customer service!!!

The house is about 40 years old, we have been in it for 25 years, and had it had never received much attention. It was always too dark and closed off. There was a funky West County hallway that was also two bathrooms. We loved raising our children here, but now we were ready to open it up to the redwood trees and sunshine outside. We had a contractor who was really good with the structure, but we had no idea how to put the rooms together. Within moments of meeting Natasha we felt 100 percent comfortable. She never once sold herself to us, or tried to move us in a direction we were uncomfortable with. Instead, she urged us to shop where we were comfortable, find deals on Craigslist, and repurpose existing furniture. She delighted in our finds, encouraged us at every turn, and turned every one of our perplexed meanderings into an encouraging way forward. From the first painted color brushed onto the first new wall, everything Natasha picked was stunning. We spent months in disbelief as each color and recommendation made its way from proposal to reality. In the world of construction, we found out that things don't happen all at once. Sometimes it would take weeks for all the colors and elements of Natasha's design in a room or space to come together, and every time we were giddy with satisfaction. Our beautiful house literally brings tears to our eyes. We feel so grateful that we met Natasha and that she gave us this incredible space. This was our first project and we are spoiled now. Working with Sharon is easy and she does a fantastic job - must be why Cavallo Point in Sausalito and the Pelican inn in Muir Beach have hired her to do all of their upholstery work - she certainly gave our house a fantastic facelift! Not only does she do custom work but her shop is chock full of handmade, charming gifts for all types from high end elegant to whimsical and fun. Whenever we are in the area we always stop in and her recent shop expansion is great- more goodies to peruse! Sharon is lovely and so talented and creative. Last week when I stopped in, the owner was there and from the doorway I asked if there was a quota of people to enter at one time given that its a very small space (maybe 10x15' interior). The owner said 'no', "if there's 10 people here and someone doesn't like it they can leave." I saw she wasn't wearing a mask. I said 'Oh, no mask?" and she said "This is my store and I don't require masks. The doctors are being paid to make up the coronavirus." I said "No, they aren't." and sadly walked away from the doorway. Very irresponsible and dangerous in midst of virus spike in the area and state. I won't visit again until new owners... I see the business is for sale.
