Horrible experience after purchasing reed diffusers…read more I came upon this cute shop on a mini vacay and purchased several bottles of the Bohemian Botanical "reed diffusers". When I returned home was excited to put out the diffusers only to fine the 3 out of the 4 bottles purchased were "bad". I called the next day explained the 3 defective bottles was told some one would call me back waited a couple days no call back, I called back again spoke to Faith , she assured me someone would contact me she took me name & mailing address said they would mail out new reed diffusers . great I thought waited another week nothing came in the mail. I called back again Faith again said she would have someone call me back and unfortunately the diffusers can get bad milky thick and white , yes I told her 3 out of 4 bottles I purchased were like this, waited a few more days and nothing! I contacted my bank disputed the charges for 3 reed diffuser bottles my bank refunded my $$. Buyer beware when purchasing "reed diffuser " bottles if the liquid inside bottles appear milky white and thick these are damaged contaminated and should be thrown out . Unfortunately I didn't think to look at the liquid in bottles

When I returned today with my husband and young granddaughters to buy gifts, the store was filled with items covered in profanity. My granddaughters were reading the words aloud, and we had to leave immediately. Very offensive and disappointing. We will not be back.

She uses vintage lace table cloths to hang down the walls of her office area to create ambiance. The store has an appreciation of vintage crochet items such as hot pads, and doilies. These two little shops are packed full of vintage inspired treasures-everything from decor, to jewelry and little knick knacks to brighten your surroundings. The lady working the shop is very sweet and opened up the second shop for us to browse around in (if she's working alone, she'll switch up her location based on where the customer wants to look.) Many of her treasures are ocean inspired and perfect little souvenir reminders of your trip to Bodega Bay. My purchases included a vintgage design starfish keychain, a seagull patterned scarf and a silver octopus wall hanging that I used to display jewelry. Eclectic Amanda's is charming, affordable and features one-of-a-kind gifts in Bodega Bay.

What's most valuable is the opportunity to get inspired by a "look" which you may want to use in your home. I enjoy the decorative objects and looking inside the cabinets where might be jewelry or watches. My suggestion would be treat each customer with, at the minimum, a little respect and thankfulness that they came into your establishment. My wife and I are finishing up a complete remodel (to the studs) of a second home in Occidental (and are buying another property there as well). We need to furnish the entire house from scratch and are looking for higher-end or unique furniture. When we walked into Saint Dizier on 3/31/16 (my wife was in her business clothes and I was in jeans and a collared shirt) we were not greeted by the two women working, in fact we were completely ignored, then one of them walked past us brusquely with a broom and said "I hate when it rains and all the peddles from the trees get tracked into the store". Uh, then don't open the store when it rains and stay home. We were specifically looking at a suede / leather couch and I actually had a couple of questions (including the availability of complementing pieces) but these two women could not have cared less. I don't have time or patience for bad service and as we walked out of the store there was not even a "thank you, come again or a goodbye". I am going to drop $4-5K on a couch (not including the rest of living room) and outfit 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and a couple of bathrooms. I guess they don't need the business, which is good because they won't be getting mine. Aloof and pretentious service went out of style decades ago... SDH bills itself as a showroom with design "experts" whose purpose is to collaborate with clients - unfortunately they are caught up in their own hype and self-importance... and subsequently just had a big project walk out the door.

Much of my home has been decorated with pieces I've found at Cokas Diko through the years. These include large paintings, vases, candle holders, dining room furniture, pillows, sconces, dishes, even delightful little holiday ornaments. I like that the furniture I've purchased was made with thick, sturdy, heavy wood. It doesn't feel like the cheap mass-produced pieces you'll find in chain stores. You need to spend time visiting on more than one occasion because their inventory changes often. So if you don't see what you like the first time, I would suggest popping back in from time to time. You might just find that one signature item that makes a lovely statement in the room you're decorating. There have been times when I did not purchase an item simply because they had it overpriced, but that's their prerogative and I respect how they do business. I suppose one could try haggling but that's not my style. I am simply grateful that they put such passion into selecting and offering so many beautiful items for sale. I hope they stay in business for a very long time. It's nice to have quality choices beyond the generic. Thank you!
