Don't use this place to rent your limo. We rented on Saturday for a special event at a few wineries and it was terrible. The car was disgusting and smelled foul. List of unacceptable problems I can recall: 1. The outside of the car was SPRAY PAINTED black in several areas. 2. The inside of car was dusty and dirty. 3. The windows had peeling paint/stickers on them. 4. The upholstery was coming undone and stained. 5. The car ride was extremely bumpy and felt like the axle was bent. 6. We were supposed to get a bottle of champagne which was not there. 7. The AC did not work properly and could not keep up with the heat outside, leaving everyone sticky and uncomfortable. 8. Windows did not function properly. You can't make this stuff up! The driver told us he has recommended to the owner to not use the limousine in this condition but the owner doesn't listen. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was absolutely a horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Starlight Limousine. Don't do it. Avoid at all costs. read more

I called to see when was a good time to pick up a limo I was going to purchase that I had put a deposit down for a week in advance. My now husband and I booked Starlight for our wedding after party. Within the first two miles the bus broke down; here I am, on the night of my wedding, in a wedding dress, stranded on the side of the road. My entire party ended up spending hundreds to Uber to our destination. After a few hours, a new bus showed up and continued with the ride. I requested that SOME of the cost be returned due to the inconvenience. Starlight refused, stating that we used the bus for the requested time. I paid for 4 consecutive hours, not a two hour intermission. The company has since stopped replying to my emails. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra money elsewhere to not have your special event ruined. *I will take down this post as soon as Starlight makes this right. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. The limousine was the worst limousine I've ever seen in my life. It was filthy dirty inside. It was spray painted on the outside. AC was terrible. We were all hot in the limo, it would not cool down. It was just disgusting. It needs to be taken to the dump. It is not okay to use this limo that we had. The ride was really bumpy. I am so mad that we had to pay for such an awful limo. They could have at least dusted and wiped it down. It was nasty.Shame on this company. Do not go with this company.!!!!! The car was absolutely trash. Old, dingy, smelled bad, all beat up from inside and outside. To make things worse the AC was not working in 80 degree weather. We had 12 people sweating for 45 min until we arrived to our destination. I let whoever we booked it with know and her respond was AC was checked and worked fine. Well it wasn't working. I caution you to double check your reservation in advance. The driver mis-read our itinerary and was waiting at the airport to pick us up when the pick up location was from home going to the airport. Some friends used Starlight to book a party bus for their wedding a few weeks ago. The bus quickly broke down and the cabin started filling with smoke or some nasty vapor. We got out of the bus on the side of the road and ended up spending hundreds more dollars on ubers as to not spend the rest of the night standing on the sidewalk in the suburbs. These things happen, but it is shameful that after this whole ordeal, Starlight has refused to make right and refund my friends. I wish I could give zero stars! The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude and will yell at you if you ask her to repeat herself because you can't understand her. The party bus was very dirty and falling apart! The main door was broken and swung open as we were going 50mph, the driver never stopped so we had to close it ourselves as it was still moving. It states it seats 24 but the only way that is possible is if every passenger is around 100lbs. It smelled like stale cigarettes had trash all over, dirty floors, seats were ripped. It was 106 that day and the AC was broke blowing extremely hot air out. It was hotter inside than it was when we got out. The owner was completely disrespectful, hung up on my husband twice, yelled at him, made up excuses, and then right after made an unauthorized charge of an extra $280 dollars. This should be a one star review. The additional star is for Bill, who drove us on a 6-hour winery and dinner trip for a birthday, and provided friendly service the whole time. This poor review is based on the vehicle primarily, but also the very notion that Starlight would offer limo service at all. Here goes... Our limo did not show up at the scheduled time. It got late enough (we had several reservations lined up at wineries and restaurants) that we called, and there was no good reason given for the half hour delay, it was simply stated that the limo ($700 paid in advance) was running late. Ok. When the limo arrived, it was a beat and ragged stretched Chrysler 300 with obvious silicone rubbed into the window seals, very bad paint, cracked rear tail light, and rocker panels so dented it looked like the car might fold in half. We would be visiting wine country in a salvage vehicle. But wait- the inside held even more treasures! During the first leg of our trip, there was no air circulation in the limo at all. No AC, no working fan, nothing. We rolled the windows down (it was almost 90 degrees) which had the immediate effect of undoing everything the ladies had done to their hair. The mini bar glass was cracked. The glasses did not match. Some of the bottled water had been OPENED. The radio did not work. The little TV (just had to check...) did not work. The interior lighting didn't work until the end, but every bump in the road made the lights flicker or die. The interior looked dated and was literally coming apart in places. It was dirty. The terrible limo did not dampen our evening, and it even provoked our senses of humor. However, if this had been a more serious event, it would been far less amusing. And for the cost, it's an abomination. Bill the driver was fine; friendly and got us where we needed to go, and even got some of the interior features working for us midway through the trip. The little 'extra' that limo service should provide was totally absent. I can not recommend them. read more

Starlight should get out of this business!! Check the reviews - I wish I had. I booked a party bus in March for our daughter's graduation from OSU in June. Communication was spotty, at best. I would have to send two e-mails to get one in return. We were supposed to be picked up at 10:00am and at 9:57am, I received a call indicating that the party bus had broken down. It was the driver who called, not the owner. So, we were 15 people stranded and 30 minutes from missing our daughters' college graduation ceremony. So, we piled in multiple cars and headed to our meeting location, just barely making it on time. The owner never even called me until I texted them indicating how upset and disappointed I was. They tried to offer to send a limo that would seat 6-8 people, the party bus seated over 20!!! Horrible customer service, no attempt to make it right or to be proactive. I got my money back, but the day was ruined as all of our plans revolved around the party bus. Very, very disappointed. read more

If I could rate this limo company I would give it negative 5 stars. A dirty, smelly, old, grungy limo showed up that should leave been put out of service a long time ago. The limo was old, smelly, dusty, dirty, and hella hot! Our ice in drink holders was melted. We were so hot and sweaty it was gross! I asked driver to turn the AC on and we were told it is turned on and must not be working. I understand it can take older cars some time to cool down but we were in that's limo 30+ min to a point where we were all wet from sweating until we had to open windows because even on a hot day, the temp was cooler outside than inside the limo. We were all super hot, very uncomfortable, because the AC wasn't working. How gross! Take that limo out of business Starlight! It's too old, disgusting, dirty, and too damn hot! Do what's right and don't blame your customers like you did on other places we've reviewed! Retire your old granny limo, and stop false advertising if you want to stay in business! Own up to what your company is supposed to do and so what's right for your customers. LOL, wow. We have expectations of grandure and then we have reality. I have been a limo driver in Los Angeles and in Chicago, and in both cities I have seen what is expected and I have seen what people get. For the money spent, we have reasonable expectations. Not all limo services are equal. Service is the main concern for all limo service providers. And even the best limo service providers have problems that occur. Starlight Limousine is not the best limo service that money can buy; the best is Very expensive. But no matter what you have to spend, the service you receive is still how you rate the company providing it. I try my best to give all clients the level of service that is pleasing to them. I can not always solve the issues that come up but I do my best to. Sometimes everything goes well, sometimes things go bad. It is not the company to be blamed if the experience does not go well, there are factors involved that are out of the control of the company or the drivers. The people who have outstanding experiences do not often post their satisfaction in reviews here. So this cannot be any referance for your future experience. Being willing and open to try new things is a risk. Not always do things turn out the way we want them to, but we don't stop trying new things or companies because we are afraid of the worst that can happen. We are hopeful and have faith in a good outcome. Being that way keeps us all growing and improving in all of our experiences. Let's try being better customers to all of our service providers. My family and I have chosen Starlight Limousine three times this year. Please note that the negative reviews are very old and are not reflective of the service we've received this year. The limousines have been clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We were able to enjoy our own music via bluetooth and both champagne and water were made available with glassware and ice. Our last trip was on Thanksgiving with a long trip between San Diego to LA. Frank was fantastic and provided outstanding service. It was raining so he picked us up on our long, difficult driveway that he had to back up. Frank walked each of us to the car with an umbrella to keep us dry. Thank you Frank for making each trip with Starlight so special. Thank you for booking us on Thanksgiving when no other drivers were available. You stepped in and took the trip yourself and made our Thanksgiving very memorable. read more

DO NOT USE IN RAINY SEASON!!! The driver Bill was a great Chaeffer. We reserved a limo to take our family to see the Keizer lights. It was our first time riding in a limo and I upgraded our family to a hummer, from the 300m stretched limo to the Hummer H2. The man I spoke with while reserving told me everything we would have access to. I asked if it would be an issue to have the heaters on higher while driving through the lights so the kids could have the rear windows down. he said it was no problem at all. When the limo arrived the driver came to me and said I just want to let you know I cant get the lights on the inside to work, the heater is not working for some reason and there is a leak coming from the emergency hatch and I cannot get ahold of of the maintenance crew or limo service people. We assumed it want a bad leak and decided to take the limo anyway. The driver was a super nice guy and I feel like none of this was his fault. The leak was significant. When we got into the limo it smelt like mildew and very musky. The heat truly did not work and we had to have the rear windows cracked the entire time so that the windows didn't fog up for the driver. By the end of the ride my pants were soaked and we were all extremely cold. I called the company this morning and told them what happened and she said she would give us 1 hour refund and I said that it should be more because we had to end it 30 minutes early and what we were promised was not given. she said she would check the ticket and get back to me. She began texting me that we used the service so she would only refund 30 minutes and wouldn't even acknowledge the issues with the vehicle. After paying Nestor $600 for 4 hours of limo service I would at bare minimum have expected cleanliness. The limo smelled like mildew and mold, wasn't vacuumed out and had drinks that were half drank from previous customers, a broken mirror as well. There was no ice for our drinks or fresh waters at least. We then were told by the limo driver, "what are you guys complaining about now" within 10 minutes of our limo experience, after asking for help with the Bluetooth on the stereo. After contacting the owner and requesting an extra hour in compensation for the dirty limo and rude service, we were told $300 for an hour and then $130 and when we wouldn't accept that, as the limo was way below minimum standards and definitely unacceptable customer service, the owner hung up the phone. I hired Starlight Limo service to shuttle our wedding guest to& from the venue. The lack of communication with this company is an understatement! I had the date, locations and time to start the shuttle and paid for 8 hours, which by the way, I was cheated a whole hour! The driver said that the 8 hours start from the time the shuttle leaves the garage and on the 8th hour it has to be back at their garage location. This was NEVER communicated with me!!! Besides their lack of communication, the driver and myself were playing phone tag. which was very frustrating as this was my daughter's wedding day! I think there should have been a call 24 hours before we used the service just to make sure everyone was on the same page! I checked my emails for any communication and there was nothing! If you want to rent "The Limo From Hell" this is the place.. We were a party of 12 and celebrating my son and daughter n laws anniversary.. You would think on a hot day Britt ( the owner) would make sure his air conditioner was working before even taking the vehicle out.. Well it worked in the way back seat only. Was he concerned NO..then after the first winery we told him we gave him the wrong name but corrected him right away and told him the direction to go in. He went by his GPS and went 4 miles passed the winery so he had to turn around and go back. We told him several times we wanted the air working by the time we got back in the vehicle. That did not happen. Also he was to have a supply of water in the Limo but did not have enough for. 12 people. So we stopped at a store to by some and of course he never offered to buy any..so as there were 2 people suffering very much from the heat we moved them to the back of the limo. Was Britt concerned NO..i wrote him a email to show our disappointment and never heard anything from him. So needless to say they did not receive any gratuity from us. I cannot understand how a company whose sole responsibility it is to provide comfortable transportation would provide a broke down, busted, 80s limo with no working air conditioning. I was in a party of 12 on a 92 degree day and we were sweltering. What's worse, the owner, Britt, was completely unapologetic about the situation. He has yet to respond to my inquiry about a partial refund. If you don't provide a basic service that we paid for, why should you pocket all of the money? And let me tell you, this "service" wasn't cheap. Everyone was so uncomfortable and miserable in the limo. Not to mention the fact that Britt kept getting lost so we made it to 3 of the 4 planned wineries. Apparently the limo is supposed to include refreshments as well. Yes, there were a couple of cans of soda and 4 bottles of water (again, for a party of 12) but we had to stop and buy our own ice as everything quickly melted in this sauna limo. I was in a party of 12 that was celebrating an anniversary by going on a wine tour on Sat July 19, 2014. The owner Britt was the driver and had been the one all of the arrangement had been made with. It started off meeting in a very open clearly marked parking lot in Salem, which he seemed to not be able to locate and circled the block 3x, before a member of our party flagged him down. We were traveling up to Dundee/ Newberg which instead of going the freeway he zigzagged through back roads which took extra time. It was a mid 80 degree day and the air conditioning only worked at the very back seat which only 3 people were able to enjoy and everyone else felt like they were in a sauna. He said it must be a fuse but instead of dropping us off and going to a Napa to get one he parked the car with NO air running so we jumped back into the sauna. One of the guests had to tell him to set with what little air there was with the car running. It never crossed his mind? He completely passed one of our stops by about 5 miles, he said he saw the sign? So why not turn around? The group of friends and family were great and made the best of it but we will never use this company again nor recommend them. Very dissatisfied!! read more

I used this limo service for my wedding and was EXTREMELY disappointed. The driver was on time to pick up my bridal party but got lost on the way to the first stop, eating into our time. It was a 95 degree day and the air conditioning in the limo did not work. At our second stop we were supposed to pick up another 6 people for a total of 14 people in a 14 person limo. There was no way that many people would fit in the limo even though the advertised for 14. We had to call and get a second limo just to get all our people where they needed to be. Then we were a 1/2 hour late (because the driver had gotten lost) and they company charged my credit card for that time. When I called and talked to them about it they said they would refund the additional money they had charged me, which they did not. I had to call back a second time in order to get the the money back, there internet had been "broken" right after I called. It's too bad that I have to give them a star at all. Britt was a jack hole and the Asian lady up in Portland was even worse to deal with. The "Professional" limo driver was horrible as well. He left the lights on during the wedding and when the bride and groom left the limo had a dead battery. The groom and one of the groomsmen had to jump start the vehicle because the driver did not know how to do it himself. The driver said he would talk to Britt about the extra two hours and make a better deal for the hassle. That never happened and they did not even apologize for the hassle. Lastly when the limo was taking them to the reception hall(which he had the address and claimed to have known where the location was)he got all turned around and had to have the groom give him directions and also had to have the groom help him park the limo. When it was all said and done once again the groom had to come to the rescue and help out once again because the driver could not back out of the drive way. I would say If you options are to use Starlight Limousine service or jump off a bridge you would get much better results with the bridge jumping. read more

Interesting to see there are so many negative reviews here -- I wish I would have read these before we decided on Starlight for our daughter's wedding. Very expensive, but based on my several discussions with the owner Britt, I felt that the service would at least be good. The driver was almost 1/2 hour late! Not good for a wedding, as the bride and groom really wanted to leave but couldn't. You'd think being on time everytime would be a priority for a driving service. There was no refund for being late -- we were only told that the limo would be available for 1/2 later than scheduled, which was of no use to use by then. Also, beware - -when you are told there is a "full bar," this apparently means there is only soda, water and ice. There was no alcohol provided, We rec'd an additional bill the next morning for an alcohol stop the driver made for the group - - had that been made clear, we could have provided our own prior to the limo arriving. I discussed these problems with the owner the next day and got no where. I'd recommend looking into other limo services -- obviously being the most expensive does not equate to being the best.
