He knew where we had been and took us to wineries that are the real thing. Small wineries with crafted wine. Not large wineries with nice buildings and some wine.... The wineries she chose all had a different flair and had unique stories. As we are not knowledgeable about Pinot Noir, Helen was a wealth of information. Not only did we learn about Pinot Noir but she also gave me some baking tips. She had prepared our lunch and the cookies she made were fantastic! (She has a background in the restaurant business.) Our tour was in July and, of course, the wine would not be shipped by Cellar Door or the winery until October. Both shipments arrived promptly in October as promised! Communication with the company was great from the time I made the reservation until we were picked up. Ian was our fantastic driver who picked us up on time and with chocolates . We started on the west side of Eugene in the hills, to the east, and then dropped off at the restaurant where we had dinner reservations. Ian made several stops to take pics of us and drove thru many neighborhoods with beautiful displays. We loved talking to him and hope he enjoys his upcoming Wyoming trip! List of unacceptable problems I can recall: 1. The outside of the car was SPRAY PAINTED black in several areas. 2. The inside of car was dusty and dirty. 3. The windows had peeling paint/stickers on them. 4. The upholstery was coming undone and stained. 5. The car ride was extremely bumpy and felt like the axle was bent. 6. We were supposed to get a bottle of champagne which was not there. 7. The AC did not work properly and could not keep up with the heat outside, leaving everyone sticky and uncomfortable. 8. Windows did not function properly. You can't make this stuff up! The driver told us he has recommended to the owner to not use the limousine in this condition but the owner doesn't listen. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was absolutely a horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Starlight Limousine. Don't do it. Avoid at all costs.
