Some leave their dogs on the overly nice furniture, leaving fur behind. It doesn't bother me, but I can understand how it would bother others looking at this as a restaurant, instead of what it is, a daytime coffee lounge and an evening cocktail bar. If it were just a coffee shop, there wouldn't be enough outlets, and there should be more pastries. If it were just a bar, it'd be a little too bright in the daytime, and the laptop workers (me included) would hurt the cool cocktail vibe...BUT it's not just those two things. It's both, and they do a remarkable job of accommodating everyone while maintaining a chill vibe. Seriously, everyone has surprised me with how nice they are here, and we're lucky to have something so architecturally significant with high-end indoor/outdoor furniture. This could just be another $$$ restaurant that detracts from the city's culture rather than adding to it.

This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I got one of their dark rum cocktails. They had some yummy food trucks in the back and several of us had items from Wow Poke which was really good. The weather was nice so we could sit outside in the back area in the shade while we ate. Then we wandered around and listened to the bands for a bit. It's a really nice space. I've been there once before for swing dancing one evening. I wish I lived closer to it but I'm sure I'll end up back here eventually for another event!

The martini was delicious too. I hate a martini that's too sweet or too strong. This was perfect. Afterwards, my friend and I went somewhere else, and at the end of the night, we came back to Holiday for a night cap brewski. I ordered a Coors. This time we sat outside in the back patio and the weather was perfect. The atmosphere is beautiful and the workers felt hospitable. The parking lot is not that big but I got lucky and found a spot.

What was good: The burger and fries were good, I like the price point, and this runs ALL night- not just happy hour. Very much appreciate that. What could be better: The bun is dry- not a lot of toppings on the smash burger and the concept of a 1.5 ounce drink is weird. Just make it a normal cocktail and charge $20. We also came on Sunday for the half priced martini day. This just can't be beat- especially because I had a total of 3 dirty martinis across those two visits and they were delicious every time. So paying $7 for a good martini is INSANE in this city. I ordered their normal double wagyu smash burger with fries for $21- definitely was bigger (and i dont just mean bc of two patties) and better dressed than the adult happy meal but those buns are just not it for me. I loved that they make their syrups in-house and there were so many good options that it made choosing a bit difficult. The barista was super helpful and even suggested mixing two syrups, which I thought was a really cool option to try. I ended up getting a latte with burnt sugar and vanilla syrup. The first sip was great, but as I kept drinking it, it tasted a bit more milky than expected which was honestly my fault. I asked for something not too sweet, so we went with just one pump of each syrup in a bigger 16oz iced drink. Next time, I'd probably stick with the standard three pumps and go with a smaller size so the flavors come through more. Overall, a really solid spot and I'd definitely come back to try some more flavors.
