Love this dinner. I am originally from New Jersey, the land of dinners, and I feel that the Star Gate in Seaford is one of the best I have had in Delaware. Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating and I love the fresh crisp greens on their salad bar which is packed with all types of goodies. Never had a bad experience. Food is good. Definitely one to try! read more

It's a pretty good diner with a huge menu. As you would expect, they have all the diner food that you would find at most diners. We like the chicken parm and a good-sized salad bar. I've always had really good waitresses that knew the menu well. I usually am seated right away, and there's plenty of parking.. Now, back to the salad bar. Some of the items like hard-boiled eggs, beets, and about 6 salad dressings the onions were very strong tasting but the salad bar was fully loaded and as it got low they kept up on it in a timely matter. We go there often and will continue to. It is a good spot for dinner, lunch, and breakfast. read more

So after visiting a few restaurants in Seaford, we keep coming back to Stargate. The food is amazing and the people are engaging. I guess this is our favorite place. The prices are very favorable. read more

Food served promptly. The bread for the table came out nice and warm. The rolls had a sweetness to them that I didn't mind. The Caesar salad was just ok. Nothing terrible about it but I've had better. We got the fried pickles as an app. They were salty but that's kind of to be expected due to the pickling. The steaks were decent. If you don't go in there thinking you're going to get a Michelin Star quality steak, you won't be disappointed. It wasn't a grubby steak by any means but it also isn't the spot a steak snob would probably love. It's one of those places that is loved and thoroughly enjoyed by the locals. Our bill was about $120 for one app, two steaks, one drink (LIT) two beers and one soda. Not bad for a night out in this day and age. I would recommend it for a quick & cheerful night out.
