The nicest manager, super friendly, helpful when I asked about local things to do, and drinks were hot and made to order. Thank you!

We were given our bill and placed our credit card down. One server took the card, processed the payment, and returned it for us to sign. A short time later, another employee approached and asked for my husband's card again, claiming the payment hadn't gone through. Later, when I checked our credit card account, the charge appeared twice. We were assured the duplicate charge would be removed, but it still hasn't been, so we'll now have to spend time contacting the restaurant to resolve it. Unfortunately, things got even worse after breakfast. After spending more than $100, we stepped outside, grabbed our sunglasses from the car, and planned to take a quick five-minute walk to look at a boat by the lake. As I was putting things away in the car, a golf cart came speeding toward me and stopped abruptly, nearly hitting me. The driver immediately began yelling that we needed to move our car because we were not restaurant customers. I explained that we had literally just finished breakfast there and had spent over $100. His response was, "We don't care, you need to get your car out of here." I told him there was no reason to drive a golf cart at me or speak to me that way. A simple, polite conversation would have been sufficient. At that point, my husband and I decided to leave. Between the duplicate charge and the aggressive, disrespectful treatment afterward, it turned what had been a decent breakfast into a terrible experience. We will not be returning and cannot recommend Zephyr Cove based on our experience.

He had a list of songs to choose from and they're all country slow version so don't expect an upbeat pop song. The popular most requested songs were listed at $20 like Wonderwall. He was nice to let our group sing as if it was karaoke. Keep in mind there were speakers outside on the side walk! For drinks, they have a list of craft cocktails like a coffee section, sippers, beer, mocktails. We ordered: Noel's Espresso Martini - delicious! Cafe Bamboo - Japanese whiskey Bonito - one of the first 3 on the menu that's sweet. This was very pineapple. Bananas in Nola - this is a sipper drink w 100 proof rye whiskey Elixir of the month - coffee old fashion The decor and vibe is very prohibition. During the day, they have a cafe for coffee, lattes and matcha w pastries. The beautiful velvet blue coaches are for reserved parties or first come first serve if no one reserved it. I would recommend to reserve otherwise you'll be at the bar.

Would come back to try some other cocktails and also in the AM to try the other offerings: coffee, smoothies and a limited food menu. The only downfall is there is no street parking. There's a paid parking lot in back that's free for the first 45 minutes, then $15 for up to two hours.

I have also been to Tahoe Bagel's Reno location, which I thought was good, but this location is much larger and offers much more seating. It was also packed on our visit! I am a bagel snob. I find it hard to find a great bagel in this area. Tahoe Bagel has all of the classic flavors and is whipping up great cream cheese too. The prices are very reasonable, and they have everything from simple cream cheese, egg and cheese, to fancy lox bagels. I enjoyed a basic egg and cheese, and my brother enjoyed a loaded lox bagel. Everything was great. Bagels are done right, and the other ingredients are fresh. There is one other bagel joint in South Lake Tahoe that I think still edges out Tahoe Bagel, but this place is a close second. Worth the visit if you're craving a bagel or looking for an affordable and filling breakfast or lunch.

We're so glad we stopped in. The bagels were fresh, delicious, and had the perfect texture. They also have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches that can be made on your choice of bagel or other breads like sourdough, which was a nice option. The coffee was excellent too and paired perfectly with breakfast. One of the coolest parts of our visit was getting to watch an employee making the next day's bagels (see video). Seeing them being made fresh in-house made us appreciate them even more. The pictures and videos speak for themselves. Everything looked just as good as it tasted. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in South Lake Tahoe!

The avocado toast was completely different, and had scrambled egged instead of sliced hard boiled eggs... menu said cherry tomatoes but they were bigger and what seemed to be sun dried. With that being said I still liked it but it was different. My best friend wanted a coffee which she didn't love. She did see some type of potato bowl on the menu that we came back for the next day and I decided to try the Nutella toast but sub peanut butter instead which you could add for 1$ but I don't like Nutella. And when I tell you I am a peanut butter baby that means what it means. So when there was too much peanut butter on the toast how is that possible....? But there just was. It weighed the bread down. I don't think it was very toasted unfortunately. I liked it but had to try to get some of the PB off so I didn't choke. My best friend likes her bowl, but the opposite happened to her she got the sliced hard boiled egg whereas she thought it would be scrambled although admitted to not closely reading the menu. Overall a strange couple days but will most likely return on future Tahoe visits because it's simple and fast and decently priced for the area.
