The staff was friendly enough, but the service was pretty slow. The drive thru had quite a few cars and it seemed the majority of their 8-person staff was occupied there. I noticed a trainer and trainee fulfilling most of the counter orders, so it was very slow and go. They were also in the process of restocking their supplies, so the store's main floor had boxes of oat milk and syrups, not Starbucks merchandise. read more

They were the rudest starbucks employees, our group was the only people there so it was not loud enough for them to get multiple errors in our order. From making a wrong drink and giving a wrong size. Their baristas do not follow the recipes at all. And when we asked for multiple straws for our order of 3+ drink they only gave us one straw at a time 3x. We were so annoyed we just left. Never coming here again for a quick refresher. read more

I find it incredibly hard to believe that some people would give this Starbucks location less than five stars... I wish I could give them 100 million stars... The staff is all made of honey and sugar... I love them so much. They are so kind and sweet and thoughtful and very, very hard-working and attentive. At 11:35 AM today, July 13th. I walked into Starbucks with my little pup Chupapi and asked if I could have a pup cup. The gal behind the counter wearing a black top with a long ponytail said no they were out of whipped cream, but I found it funny that they put whipped cream in my vanilla bean Frappuccino. Now look at my poor pup, so sad and disappointed he didn't get his pup cup. The fact that you lied straight to this face makes you a horrible, horrible person. You should be fired. read more

What a mess during the morning rush with orders coming in from drive through, mobile orders, and in person orders, this location had a hard time keeping up and a hard time in correctly making the drinks. There was a super long line for in person orders and we had to do this because we had our personal cups in our attempt to reduce paper/plastic cup waste. The lone barista/cashier seemed unfamiliar and had to stop many times to ask other staff questions on the register. When our turn came, she tried to charge me extra for oatmilk for the featured Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato, which already comes with oatmilk and didn't seem to know how to apply the discount for personal cups. After that, we waited awhile in the tight space and when my drink came out, my cup was sticky all over the sides and bottom and apparently they did not have the apple crisp syrup, anyway, so essentially I just got a macchiato? The whole lengthy experience to get a sub-par drink was overall disappointing. read more

When I was ordering, the barista taking my order kept cutting me off. I ordered a venti chai latte with oatmilk, blonde espresso, and a pump of pumpkin. I order this in 29 palms everyday so I definitely know how it should taste. this drink was straight up hot water with a shot of espresso. there was no pumpkin and definitely no chai... I'm pretty disappointed.. my friend also ordered a chocolate cream cold brew which she orders often and said hers didn't taste right and from the start it looked very milk and odd... just sucks paying $15+ for drinks just for them to not be made right. Been here 4 times. 4 times they have screwed up the orders or forgot about the order. Where's the zero star option? If I didn't remind them of my other part of the order today after the other items of mind had been sitting for ten min, I would have never gotten my food. If you're too swamped here, get more help. If you can get more help, open another store, but this is absurd how badly they are EVERY SINGLE TIME. Gotten to the point now where I just laugh and say "okay what's gone wrong this time?" Actually the worst Starbucks ever. The staff is completely incompetent. We have stopped here a few times and no matter what we do (order ahead or drive through) it takes forfukingever. I ordered ahead 15 minutes & it still was not ready for an additional 15 minutes. There were two girls waiting in line for the bathroom holding up the entire ordering line. None of the staff was communicating with them to move or asking other customers to move forward. They messed up both of my drinks, the cold brew they gave us was a latte, not even cold brew. They had to re-ask multiple times what I ordered. One barista, a skinny guy, literally could care less I was waiting and asking for the drink. The second barista was literally giggling, and touching HIS scruff on his face and whipping his hair around. Gross. And then you make everyone's drinks? Nasty. Okay, I have now relocated to Yucca Valley and your only choices for coffee stands is still only Starbucks and Frontier? Haven't been to Frontier yet, but looking forward to trying them, but, they don't have a drive thru. Starbucks has improved ALOT since I was last there. And, since moving here, I have visited alot. The drink came out dark brown so I knew it was messed up I drank it and it doesn't taste like coffee. It taste really strong of chocolate, so I had them re make it. It came out the same way. The woman with the short black hair wasn't very kind when I pulled up to the window to get my order. She wasn't friendly, didn't smile, just ran our card. When she handed us our drinks we told her one of them was supposed to be iced. She seemed visibly annoyed. She didnt say sorry or anything she just took our drink back and made us a new one. When we drove off we realized my drink had "2 pumps of pecan syrup" on the label when I had asked for one so it was overly sweet. Our other drink didn't have a label so we didn't know exactly what else we got. Bummer experience. Will definitely be getting coffee at the local small shop in yucca instead. read more

After seeing there was a line of 7 cars in the drive thru; I figured maybe it would be faster to just go in! It was mid-afternoon; past the breakfast or lunch busy time, so I went inside and saw there was just one party in there who had already placed their order & was waiting to have their name called.....and there were 5 Starbucks employees behind the counter! Well that was wishful thinking; Romeo quickly took my simple order for 1 iced coffee & then I waited for over 20 minutes while the employees seemed to walk back & forth and back & forth......moving quickly but not really seeming to get my order, or anyone's finished. 4 or 5 customers came in after me, some had done mobile ordering but orders weren't seeming to be being completed with any urgency. I guess maybe they were all working on some elaborate drive-thru orders because I watched the same car sit at the window for like 10 minutes. It would suck to be stuck in that line; because once you're locked in by cars in front and in back; there's really nowhere to go! You can't change your mind. I finally got my coffee; ahead of the girl who said she had done a mobile order 15 minutes before she got there. It was ok; a little too strong, but I just took it and left because my husband was waiting in the car & he was getting really impatient. This is the only Starbucks I've ever been to where they handed me a cellophane wrapped pumpkin loaf. I suppose it produces less waste than transferring to their logo pastry bag and I also suppose it's more sanitary without extra handling of the food. The drink service is painfully slow and the few tables they have get occupied by those waiting so not an ideal place where you can sit with your laptop and work with your morning cup. I dare say this may also be the only Starbucks I've been where my drip coffee was luke warm and didn't taste like the usual Pike Place Roast that I requested. I don't love Starbucks but I've come to depend on the quality of their drip coffee so this was a mild surprise. If possible, avoid the morning rush; otherwise be prepared to wait a long time for your Pumpkin Latte. The place seemed chill enough after the morning rush. read more
