two cups of iced coffee in a car
Pravash M.

Dislike Starbucks but stopped here to score major hubby/dad points on the way to Busch Gardens. Apparently, they have new offerings and this was the only location in CoVA that hadn't sold out of Pistachio latte. Ordered and paid easily en route via Starbucks app. (Mine? Gross, no, totally theirs.) Both ladies enjoyed their bevs; wife's new go to is cold brew w white mocha sauce, sweet cream cold foam, and caramel drizzle. Ready on arrival. They do NOT have a drive thru so you'll need to score a parking spot in the shared lot and hoof it inside. Social distancing and masks enforced; surprisingly clean inside, especially on a Saturday.

Nitro cold brew with salted honey cold foam

I'm all for making my coffee at home or patronizing a local coffee shop, but sometimes I just want Starbucks. This location is the only one consistently making excellent drinks. I honestly don't think there's been a time I've been unhappy - the drinks are always at least good, and more often than not excellent. The only time I've ever not liked a drink was when I ordered something new on the menu that just isn't my type of thing. I had probably my best drink yet over the weekend. I like the nitro cold brew, and occasionally I indulge and get it with the salted honey cold foam. Some locations make it and there's not any foam at all, no flavor, screw up the nitro cold brew. Not this place. In fact, the nitro was perfectly smooth, plenty of the flavored foam on top with so much rich flavor. Almost buttery, and it blended and layered perfectly with the coffee. I smiled the entire time I drank it. This location is also very large with plenty of seating, for non-COVID times

I stop at this Starbucks whenever I stay at my timeshare in Williamsburg. It's a solid Starbucks and it is doing a great job at the whole covid thing. They have hand sanitizer at every single table and masks when you walk in on the table. They also have plastic dividers for the staff. The coffee is always hot and comes out fast!

This Starbucks is located In a busy shopping center near Busch Gardens!! The layout inside is relaxing and a bit larger than most Starbucks which lends itself to larger group gatherings- bonus!! The staff is also really nice and personable. They dont just say your name when you order is rather instead they say exchange pleasantries like " Jay Your order is ready, please enjoy your tea it was made with love & have a great summer!!" Totally made my day!!

My coffee, and I did pick it up as soon as it was done it was not sitting at all.

I usually have no complaints at this location, it's one of my favorite Starbucks!! But the last few times I've mobile ordered from them my drink has been way off. I do order a more complicated drink, however, it didn't seem to be a problem these last 6 months I've been ordering it until these last few weeks. It's just disappointing to be expecting something and it be the complete opposite. The drink wasn't even filled all the way and the cold foam was almost nonexistent as well as there being no ice. I know there has been a lot of stress on the food community since Covid hit so I'm trying to be as understanding as possible, but it's been twice in a row now. Just sad. :(

Happy first hot coffee of the season!

A very quiet and can Starbucks. The baristas were friendly and helpful. They were quick and kept the line moving. Restuarant was neat and decorated and well stocked with Starbucks items. Overall a good experience and easy in and out with lots of parking.

Great crew! Very friendly and amenable to a crotchety old man. The coffee could've been a tad hotter, but the hospitality wins out.

Discovered this indie coffee shop in Williamsburg near Busch Garden exit off Merrimac when I was…read moredown for a brief visit and OMG - BIGGGGG LOVE!!! So much to love about this new discovery besides the fact that it's NOT a Starbucks lol and for those that know me, you know I love and love to support and discover tucked away indie coffee places (see my reviews!). This place is also a roastery and sells their own bean blends. I don't know the history behind the shop and name but was told it is chemistry themed and owned by W&M alum - yassssss! Service is SUPER friendly and excellent so that's a bonus! I lovvvvvvve that the latte menu is chock full of super creative seasonal flavors - so many to choose from!! I stopped by twice while in town and staying just down the street. Had a hot Rose Macaron latte and the next day had the Lemon Bar. Both were DELICIOUS. NOT OVERLY SWEET BUT WITH SUBTLE FLAVORS AND BOLD ESPRESSO TASTE. NOTTTTTT WIMPY WEAK. Both days I had the OG Bacon Egg Cheese sando on an ET bagel that was a decent accompaniment to my seasonal lattes which were clearly the stars of the show. I was there during the week - once mid afternoon, the other day late morning and it was not crowded at all both days. The seating area is HUGE. 2 separate adjacent rooms - walk through the front ordering area and you'll find a large, super cozy and inviting "living room" type space with comfy couches, armchairs, dining tables with chairs and even cubes for studying. Dark and moody vibes. SUPER COZY, RELAXING AND KEPT VERY CLEAN AND TIDY. The other seating area has a bunch of tables and chairs, lots of windows, brighter and more conducive for gathering. I took and posted a bunch of pics and some vids so check them out. So glad to have discovered this coffee spot and gem! Will definitely be back when I visit Williamsburg again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

GET THE BUTTERSCOTCH LATTE!!!!…read more This place is always busy. That's how you know it's good. It's so worth the wait to have a cup of coffee here. Their baristas know their stuff. It's cozy inside and outdoor seating available as well.

Let me say that…read moreWilliamsburg parking is often a nightmare, but there is a lot in the way of fair-priced parking lots nearby. Everything we had, I would get again. The "chilli eggs" were great. The lamb was so good we saved half just so we could have it later in the day. The lattes were solid, too. For a place where you have to wait in line to pay and have your food brought to you, it is not cheap. But the prices don't feel like you're being gouged either. Just don't expect to get out of there with two people and pay $30 dollars. It will not happen. Also, don't expect quiet. This place is loud. Small rooms with lots of chairs and nothing to cushion the noise. My perfect visit: 1. Have someone order the food and find seating. 2. You go to the dessert place a few doors down and get a medley of treats. 3. If you're two people, order three things and share a bit of each. 4. When you're almost done, order two coffees to go then sit back down. 5. Someone will bring you your coffees and you can walk out with drinks in hand and snack on chocolate covered items as you walk back to your car. 6. Complain that you should have gotten the large coffee and didn't ask for napkins so your fingers are a bit sticky. 7. Drive contentedly home and talk about what your favorite thing was. 8. No, no one is nice about merging back onto that highway, but that's not Hohl's fault.

Then there are the seasonal specials -- creative, adorable images and flavor combinations beyond anything I've found elsewhere. Their apple fritters are huge, tender, and overflowing with apple chunks. I've had a good experience with their online ordering, always finding my order accurate and ready on time. As if delectable, creative doughnuts weren't enough of a draw, Emily's Donuts & Cafe adds on friendly personnel and an upbeat environment. I'm getting hungry just typing about it.

However the key lime had an overly sweet icing and an artificially tasting lime filling. The mango guava glazed had a tropical tasting filling that kinda gave mango but didn't taste like guava at all which was disappointing because I love guava pastries. But maybe that's my bad and I should've got the guava glazed and not the guava mango. The cannoli was the best and was quite tasty. Slightly expensive at around $11.50 for three donuts but the cannoli one is huge. I would get the cannoli again but not the other two.
