Wet scones.
Dave M.

Service was quick and friendly, but food was kinda gross. Just ordered 3 petite scones. Saw staff dump them from the plastic package into a paper bag and hand it to me. Not sure if these had been frozen and were in the process of thawing, but the icing is wet and sticky. It stuck to the paper bag. Scones are still cold, so I suspect that is what happened. Left high points of icing in the bag. Came out of bag with strands of icing attached to bag. Ugh! Restrooms were clean. Has the new set up of communal sink outside restrooms. Faucet integrated touch free soap dispensers were empty. A pump soap dispenser was on the sink, as well as paper towels. Didn't try to activate the faucet integrated air hand dryer. I don't think I'm going to eat these scones. Wet pastries are no fun. Plus scones are usually pretty dry.

Flies on food? Nobody cares.

Bathrooms need cleaning. Main sink for bathrooms needs scrubbing. Flies on food! Disgusting

We ask where is the espresso, instead of helping she keeps smiling for some reason instead do her job. What kind of customer service instead of 1 star is 0 star. Is not my fault . specified 1Cappuccino, 1,Dragon fruit and 1 shot of espresso they gave as a espresso cappuccino!!!! Ok i'll just pay if it's not enough. but don't smile on your own colleagues fault.worst customer services.

Great coffee. The staff is friendly and efficient. Their few food offerings are worth eating. Nuff said.

Service was friendly and fast. We ate outdoors which was very shaded. There are tables inside too. Not much curb appeal, but don't let that scare to You. Our carnitas tacos were excellent as was the hibiscus drink we had . The salsa was spicy. Overall glad we tried this place while driving down the 5.

It does not look like a restaurant from there, more like a small store. There are two entrances to this establishment, to go to the store, panadería and inside tables go to the door on the right. To get fresh made food go to the door on the left of the outside tables and order at the counter. The three ladies making food prefer Spanish, you order with them and find a place to sit. They bring your food when it is ready. The cashier at the store was so talkative, she told me they only make chicharrón and fresh tortillas on Sunday, so of course I ordered some. There is a maze in the store and I happened upon a room of fresh breads and pan dulce. The baker was refilling some of his trays at noon when I was picking a few delicacies. The cashier told me he makes fresh pan dulce beginning at 4:30 am. We ordered the carnitas which they only make on weekends, just delicious! The torta was on a fresh bread and it was nicely balanced. My dining partner must have loved his burrito as it was eaten before I could try it. The lime agua fresca was ok. Usually I do not give 5 stars to such a casual establishment that does not have exquisite table service nor ambience but the food surprised so much that I thought it deserved the extra star. I hope to be able to try more the next time I pass through!
