This Starbucks had the nicest workers ever! Stopped on my way back home on a long drive. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful, and my drinks came out fast! read more

Stopped in and grabbed the Matcha Protein Latte and knocked out some computer work before my next call. Locations is a little small on seating but staff is friendly and service in on point. Would definitely recommend this location to my colleagues and clients in the area. read more

Not my first choice but it was the only coffee shop that was open at 6 am with dine-in. I was here for about two hours this morning, charging electronics, sipping at a coffee and writing out a few emails. This was a decent Starbucks as far as the seating goes. Plenty of two-top tables with power outlets nearby. Wifi worked well. Music wasn't too loud. Coffee was... the usual. [Review 833 of 2024 - 588 in Texas - 21864 overall] read more

Went and ordered through their drive thru on 12/31 at approximately 2038 hours, the young lady speaking through the mic had an excellent attitude especially for working on a holiday, she made some great recommendations regarding my sweet tea by adding lemonade and peach juice, she was very patient and accommodating of my ignorance of drink customizations, made me feel incredibly valued as a customer, other businesses should be taking lessons here, this is how you retain customers and build your business. Would 1000% recommend this location. read more

Small place but efficient use of space and clean. Staff is wonderful and efficient. Drink was made and tasted great and was hot . Hot my order correct. There was a little wait but it was ok read more

I am a frequent Starbucks customer but this location has the absolute worst customer service. When we first pulled up to the window the lady named Mia was already super rude, frustrated, and annoyed. We had ordered a drink with light ice and we received the drink completely filled with ice. We did ask if they could remake the drink with light ice and another lady named Breanne came and gave us more attitude. Mia brought the drink back 3/4ths of the way full, smirking and waving to us to "have a great day" Mia said they were both supervisors which made this experience worse knowing they have horrible management . read more

If I could leave a negative 5 stars, I would for this location. My girlfriend ordered venti ice tea through drive thru. She pulled up to the window, she gets ice tea with milk and syrups. She told barista that she wanted plain ice tea and the barista said that they don't make ice tea without milk. The barista refused to make the correct drink and accusing my girlfriend if she knows how to make correct order for drink. Another barista also accused my girlfriend if she knows what drive thru is and snatch her credit card and gave the wrong drink. I'm not sure how these baristas working, but this is not right way to communicate with customers. read more

Really unfriendly staff. They don't say hi. They pretty much take your money had you your stuff and NEVER catch eye contact. I have been to this location at least a dozen times... and it's always crappy attitudes. I am always sure to tip at least $2 & yet they don't even have the courtesy to acknowledge me, It's really rude. I won't be back. There's too many other friendly coffee shops in this town read more

Who doesn't love Starbucks? Their game is consistency. Sometimes, they are out of the baked goods that you want, and that's a bummer. But the employees are always nice here and it just feels like a fun little treat. I love all the seasonal offerings and the vibe check is 100. read more

My drinks never taste right! I have giving them plenty of times and I pay for almond milk also extra pumps of sweeteners and I think they are just taking my money and not changing a thing. I will not be going back read more

I always come here just to find that their coffee is always burnt. I went here today. Horrible drive thru customer service and our drinks took 10 minutes to come out. Go to any location in waco but just not this one. read more

If you're lactose intolerant, beware! Twice now I've asked for oat milk in my drink, and twice I've ended up in the bathroom in a bad way, so I'm pretty sure they just use regular milk anyway. Also, my drinks are never sweet despite asking for multiple pumps of syrup and splenda. The Starbucks on I-35 and 18th is MUCH BETTER! read more

In town for work and stopped here for a shaken espresso for it to only taste like oatmilk and no coffee. I got a venti. I threw that whole thing away when I got to work. We go get coffee for convenience while out of town and that was bad start to my morning especially with the drink not being cheap and I was not able to turn around and have them fix it, which is what we shouldn't be doing. Get it right the first time please. read more

I have not returned to this Starbucks since the new one popped up by Walmart on I35 because the service here is horrendous. I ordered in person with my bf and they took 45 minutes to make 4 drinks. They didn't even call my name for the last drink which of course was mine out of the four for my family. So my hot drink was cold and had a disgusting flavor. They employees were literally bullying us and calling us names. I'm so disgusted with the staff working that night shift. read more

I had a couple of hours to kill between meetings in Waco and decided to seek out a Starbucks to hang out at. The staff inside were very accommodating and friendly. My coffee drink was prepared to perfection and my snacks were just what my tummy needed. I enjoyed a wonderful couple of hours being productive, enjoying coffee and hanging out. I'll definitely stop in to this Starbucks next time I am in the Waco area. read more

If you are going to take 40 min to make 1 drink then please inform your customers of the wait. Terribly ran store.

My wife finally found a coffee place that fed her frozen addiction, something with hazelnut...it was very good. I had a medium cup of jo, we always make a point of thanking the barista when the drinks turn out good...as they did today. We wanted to try a nonchain-we-cover-the-galaxy coffee place but Common Grounds and few others we looked up on my foodie guide called Yelp...don't make the frozen coffee/frap/frozen blended thingies. read more

If I could give negative star. I would. place is terrible. Terrible I say, terrible!! The lady screams the whole time. It took 20 min to get a London fog out. Like shut up lady. Why dont you ... tell your team to sing all the drinks. Or tell your team to speak in a funny accent while the line gets backed up. God I hate this Starbucks. read more

This starbucks was remodeled in March of 2015 and is by far the nicest in Waco. Biggest upgrade was to seating - twice as many seats (at least) as any other location in the area, and plenty of table space. Great upgrade! read more

Save yourself some time and sanity and go to a different location. It is truly not worth it! First let me say, I love Starbucks. It's definitely my favorite way to treat myself. I understand that the stores can get busy, so I normally place an order ahead on my app, which is very convenient. However, I have had multiple incidences at a certain store in Waco in which I have received unacceptable service. The location in the Central Texas Marketplace in Waco, TX has consistently been slow, but today I understand why. I placed a mobile order for a frappuccino and two cake pops at 6:09 PM, arrived at the store at 6:20 PM to pick up. The drive thru line was about 8 cars deep, so I went in. When I walked in, one of the employees was preparing fifteen (15) Venti ice waters. Another employee was recording them on Snapchat. A third employee was goofing off. A fourth employee was making drinks at a snails pace while talking to the other employees. A fifth employee was taking orders at the window (she was the only one who seemed worried about getting orders out). When the first employee got to the 15th drink, two other employees made him aware it was all a prank, that no one had ordered the waters. Then they all proceeded to goof off, record each other on Snapchat, and clown on the one guy who made all of the waters. All of this was done while I was standing st the counter waiting for my mobile order that I had placed 10 minutes prior. Three frappuccinos died in the window while four employees played around and pranked one another. Finally, the girl making drinks asked what I was waiting on and I politely told her my order (even though I had placed it online). I got my drinks and pops after a painstaking 10 minutes of waiting at the counter for the baristas to simply do their jobs. This is not the first time I have had a mobile order take a ridiculous amount of time at this location. I have had to actually leave without receiving my drinks (after paying!) because the wait was over 30 minutes. Other times, I have had to wait 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged my existence and THEN I have to give them my order again. Go to one of the other locations. The one in Woodway/Hewitt has much better customer service and is worth the extra 5 minute drive!! read more

The two employees asked us what ingredients to use and how to make the drink we ordered!! Not a great experience, but it was pretty funny to watch them! read more

Coffee is cold and the service is haphazard. I live in the CTM and will never go to this location again.

Soooo bad. COLD drip coffee? Really? How can your business be coffee and you cant deliver on the basics Also dirty bathrooms. Go down the road to the independent coffee shop. read more

Still sitting here after exactly 30 minutes waiting on one drink. Finally get to someone to ask where my stuff is and they try to hand me a cold coffee drink that's been sitting by the drive thru area for probably 25 minutes. No thanks. The place isn't that busy. Most Starbucks can crank out the drinks even during busy times but apparently not this one. Another couple by be is complaining they've been waiting 25 minutes. Terrible service. read more

Mary is super sweet and Preston made me the best Flat White I've had in months! I've become quite the FlatWhite connoisseur since it was introduced. I've had them literally from coast-to-coast. Now, I can just pick mine up and tell from the weight alone if it's right. That is what started the "how to make a FlatWhite" conversation with Preston, who obviously understands he's not just a barista, he's changing the WORLD one happy Flat White lover at a time! It was 32 degrees this morning, and I love tea, so I asked for a Trenta Black Tea with light ice, but the tall, skinny, brunette lady employee threw a temper tantrum, and filled my cup almost entirely with ice (I uploaded the pic to yelp photos). If I am going to pay $3/tea, then I should be able to order a tea how I like so that it's not too cold on a freezing day. Dunkin' Donuts just opened a store not too far... read more

I've never had to wait so long for coffee but it's is the only one on my way to work. I've had to sit in the drive thru for 30 minutes before but an average is 20 minutes of waiting in the drive thru. I've been inside before and had to wait ten extra minutes for my online order when I ordered it before I left my place. You guys seriously need to get more organized! read more

This Starbucks is extremely slow... waited 30 minutes because they got behind on orders just for them to say they lost our order? People that came in after us were being served so something was definitely wrong. The only saving grace was that the baristas were nice and obviously doing the best they could. Still no excuse for being so behind on orders.... got a refund after having to ask. Still no coffee!!! Would not recommend read more

Wow, consistency of your beverage not the norm. We use this location as well as the one in Hewitt. We order the same 4-6 types of coffee/Frappuccinos. Love drink come back next day and flavor may be weak or instructions weren't followed. While the one in Hewitt has been better for us, this one has fallen. No straws for large cup makes it difficult to drink without straw falling into cup. read more

The location is fine however the lady I encountered ruined it for me. Ordered a caramel frappe with whip cream however when we pulled up to the window the frappe was super watered down with no whip cream or caramel on top. Went inside & the first Starbucks employee was super friendly however the lady who made the drink originally said "I'm just gonna make it again just like last time!".....She started handing it to us for the second time now & I had to explain to her that it is suppose to come with whip cream & caramel. She must've been having a bad day or her mind was else where but for a $6 frappe I shouldn't have to spend 20 minutes & tell the employee how to make it. Just my opinion. read more

I go here all the time. It is fine if you are NOT in a hurry and don't want dark roast. If you are in a hurry, DO NOT GO HERE. Other Starbucks in Waco could grow the beans and get your coffee to you faster. It's consistently slow every day. They also are out of dark roast over 50% of the time. Still, I'll give it two stars since it is at a very convenient location, and it is a Starbucks after all. It's hard to mess up their product. read more

tonight is decemeber the 9th. me and my friends wanted to get starbucks in the late afternoon and were heavily disappointed. when you walk in all the female employees were on their phones or goofing off, and only one employee was cleaning and working and he seemed to continue working while they paid no attention to him. i am in support of people having fun at work but not when they are not doing their job and ignoring their other employees and their customers. especially to be a customer, and ignored so the women can be on their phones is not okay. read more

This is a fine Starbucks! The drive thru goes quickly most days. Every now and then it takes forever, for example, just the other day I spent 25 minutes in the drive thru line. But when I got to the front, they gave me my drink on the house because of the wait. They are consistent and friendly. Their biggest downfall is their popularity.
