I went to replace a coffee they made incorrectly. So I got a mozzarella caprese sandwich instead. The original drink was the sugar cookie frappe and it didn't taste like anything. I had it before and it didn't taste anywhere close to what I had. So I didn't want to still dislike the drink, so I'm glad I tried the sandwich as a replacement. The sandwich has tomatoes, pesto, and mozzarella cheese and it's toasted. I did enjoy it. Service at the drive thru was good. I'd return for another sandwich!! read more

I come to this store in Fairfield Shopping Center frequently. It is often VERY busy. Even when I place a mobile order there still may be a several minutes wait. The store is large and kept very clean. And the staff have always been very kind to me and very helpful any time I had questions. read more

Like many of the other reviews mention, I discovered this location after several negative experiences at the Indian River location which is a bit closer for me. Coming to the Providence Rd location is absolutely worth the extra five minutes added to my drive! They have plenty of parking spaces and the drive-thru is set up to wrap around the building if needed, but doesn't not get super tight. Even with a long drive-thru line, it's easy to navigate the parking lot. The seating is plentiful, both inside and out. I appreciate that they have different styles of seating- small and large tables, comfy reading chairs, etc. The staff is great! They are always cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They work hard to keep the line moving, both inside the store and in the drive-thru. I have visited this Starbucks many times and have never been given an incorrect order or had a bad experience with an employee. The menu and prices are standard for Starbucks. They occasionally have sweet and creative things going on, like bags of free coffee grounds to take for your garden. I love these thoughtful touches! My opinion? Skip the Indian River location and come here instead for a relaxing and positive experience. read more

Surprisingly large on the inside with better parking than the one on Indian River Road, it means that there's more room for the noise of the steaming to dissipate. Meaning, it's quieter here than other Starbucks. When I ordered my double espresso, the barista put it in the ceramic cup as it's supposed to be. Coffee was unexpectedly not bitter compared to the usual *$ brew. There are outside tables here too! read more

This is my FAVORITE Starbucks! They are beyond accommodating, and I'm KETO so it can be different and difficult to make me happy. They go OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure I feel just like any other customer. I'm sure they have others who are more difficult, but I'm worried about me here. lol I was having a TERRIBLE day, pulled up and decided to devour a keto drink to make me feel better. She didn't know I was having a rough day, and I didn't treat her as if I was... what happened next completely turned my day around and made me rethink why I was allowing a temporary situation upset my entire day.... She wrote such a sweet message that truly touched me on my cup and THAT is what makes a difference maker in customer service! Best Starbucks staff ever? I have visited numerous Starbucks locations within Virginia Beach and none can even compare to this one. Oh the drinks are super delicious too haha :) Seriously though, everyone there - Kristi, Nick, Olivia, Anna, Kristen and all the other chicks names I keep forgetting (SO sorry lol!) are ALL phenomenal....no matter what day you go in you'll get TOP notch service as if they're your best friends. I am a business man that has various hours of work, I dont always have time to make my own coffee so Id rather pay for a great service to be served. Talk about having to deal with ridiculous service. Barista was snotty because they close at 830 and we were there at 820. We were literally the only people there and need 3 drinks. Told another customer at 825 that they couldn't order. But could by merchandise. Not even mad they didn't have the things necessary to make our drink. That I can get behind. But the crappy attitude. I never thought I'd say this but the drink I ordered here sucked. It doesn't help I used to work for Starbucks so I know there is a time limit that you have after pulling shots of espresso. Well, that limit came and went and after the shots were pulled, the milk was then steamed and poured into the drink. The taste you get after espresso dies is similar to that of newspaper water. In other words, it sucks! A friend and I who frequent Starbucks around the city stopped here after lunch for a pick me up, she ordered the Cascara Latte her drink came out good. Stopped in here to get an after lunch pick me up for myself and a co- worker who did me a favor. This Starbucks was just built a few months ago and was not on Yelp yet so I added it. We were so happy to see one going up near our office when they were building it. The staff was so friendly and nice. They laughed with me when joking about my co workers order for an upside down Macchiato, which I had never heard of. The male cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable, smiled and laughed with me the entire visit, as did the other two female employees. People with personalities like theirs make those places so much more enjoyable. I told them they were not on Yelp! yet and I was gonna add them, so they helped me with the address and hours. The drive thru was busy but I wouldn't say I waited a long time. I was occupied added them to Yelp! so I had not noticed. My latte was just as I asked, which is kind of a long list, Grande Latte extra shot Extra Hot Easy Foam. All and all a very good experience. read more

They have around 5-7 nice square tables that can seat 4! You might have to push them around a little to make space for the other customers. There's also some secret area behind the display of their random items/products on sale! It seemed like a "quieter" area if you needed to focus on your schoolwork, business work, etc. We sat at a sufficiently spacious table to play Pandemic! We did move our tables to accommodate the group behind us, but it was already clean when we sat down. We arrived some time after lunch, and the place was pretty busy. I was surprised to even find a table to seat us. I'm a total loser to brings around some board games and decided to bring my old college roommates back to our college days where we'd play board games instead of study. Service was quick. We got all our drinks, but they didn't have enough sized mugs to accommodate orders "for here." Heh, I know, how boujee. My friends really wanted some latte art, but there weren't any local coffee shops in the area. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but the line never got overwhelmingly long. Props to these baristas. It was a decent sized Starbucks, so I liked this location. They didn't try to stuff too many tables in a small building like most locations. Also, they cleaned their bathrooms regularly. Yes, we sat, sipped coffee, talked, and played games for a good 4-5 hours. Thanks for not kicking us out, haha~ read more

Order a Trenta refresher with lemonade, no water. Get to the window that the gentleman hands me a venti. I let him know I ordered a trenta. He has no clue what to do so tells the girl who took my order. She dumps it into a trenta cup and adds water then hands it back like she is bothered. All because she couldn't listen. read more

One of my favorite Starbucks right near my parent's house. This place always has a quick drive through line even when it looks packed. My new favorite part of the Starbucks app is the mobile ordering feature so when I'm driving into town I'll place and order and then just stop by and pick it up, skipping lines inside and at the drive through. This place will also brew you a coffee if you want something different than the usual selections which I like. The baristas are all pleasant and know what they're doing which is a definite plus. The one negative I have is that they seem to run out of seasonal items quickly, as in the order gets put in late or they don't anticipate the demand correctly but other items are on point. read more

When they drinks are made right they're great, but they're hardly ever made right. Sadly this is the closest Starbucks to my house so it's easier for me to just go to this one instead of driving to another. If it weren't for the close distance I'd choose another location. Drinks never have the syrups in them that you've ordered, if I ask for cream I get none and have to tell them I asked for cream and syrups..etc. I get the same drink every single day and they are made differently every single day, it's hard to tell what you'll get. I even bought my own Starbucks syrups and have creamer ready at home because I know the drinks won't be made right and I'm just tired of dealing with it. Me and my bf went here to get breakfast before going on a college tour. The time was kinda short since we had to go from providence to ODU in about 45 minutes. Just so you can get an idea I'm allergic to dairy and told them this. I asked for 2 impossible breakfast sandwiches with NO CHEESE ( I repeated it multiples times bc I know sometimes people forget). Not only did the cashier confirm my request the one making it did as well. I get in the car with my bf and what do you know there's cheese ALL OVER IT. I stayed in the car but my bf went in to replace/complain since those were the last two and thus could not be remade. He asked for a veggie breakfast wraps (don't remember the name specifically) and once again made it clear that I'm allergic to dairy and asked if there was dairy on it. The ENTIRE staff told him that the wrap didn't come with cheese, but my bf was skeptical bc of last time and looked online and the first ingredient was CHEESE! He then went up to the counter and said the website said cheese, the manager then came out and confirmed there was cheese on it when everyone else was telling us otherwise and they even made it! To top off this whole experience they told me I should get the spinach and feta wrap......He just got a refund on it and we were late to our tour and hungry. (Btw the cashier was so nice about it no hate to her but the situation was very frustrating) Plus they're always out of all there sandwiches when we go to order through the drive thru. read more

Drinks are always perfect, and the location is the best. You're pretty much obligated to grab a drink and browse around TJ Maxx right behind it. They have a large table near the front that probably seats 15 or so people, which is great for groups. There's also a secret little spot behind the partition before you get to the bathrooms. It's a private little area with just a couple tables. My friend and I love getting together and catching up here! read more

This is just your typical Starbucks like any other. The 5-star rating comes due to the excellent space that the layout offers. All the tables offer ample space with outlets for electronics. A little off the beaten path but if I am looking for a place to park it for a while this is my stop. read more

This is still my favorite Starbucks in the area. I go here a couple of times a week before I drop my daughter off at my mom's. I am always greeted by the same girl at the drive thru, Megan. She is one of the many reasons we come back to this location because she always greets you with a smile and is super friendly. NEVER again. I ordered a grande coffee black. I don't order anything fancy and their regular coffee is rather bitter anyway, so the only time I ever go to Starbucks is if I am in a rush or in the mood for their spinach feta wrap. I was both this morning, so I stopped by the drive thru and ordered that with my coffee. It took literally 20 minutes to get through the drive through, and when I got to the window I was told they were out of the wraps. I hesitated to even buy the coffee because again, it's not particularly good, and I was incredibly annoyed that I wasn't told at the order window that you didn't have what I ordered... Like literally every other place on the planet does. But I handed her my credit card and she handed it back and then after a second or two asked "oh did you want a receipt" um you bet your ass I want a receipt when you change my order at the window and don't even give me a new total before you swipe my card. So now I don't have time to eat breakfast and have bitter coffee and have to deal with stupidity. read more
