I stopped by this Starbucks today in the morning to get a plain bagel. This Starbucks was on the way to the dealership to drop off my car so it was convenient for me to visit this store because it was nearby and I was early. I came in the early morning so they were not busy at all. Be aware that this Starbucks is meant to be drive thru only because of the location and how small it is. The parking spots are very limited so most of the time, it's the employees who parks there. You can park at the gas pump because it shares the plaza with a gas station but it's not ideal. I used the drive thru when I came today and the only wait time was waiting for the bagel to be toasted fully. I also got a venti iced water to finish my order. My bagel was good and I was not at the location long. It's also not in the best of area so it's better to just come during the less busy hours and avoid all the traffic. read more

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. Our order was made incorrectly, and it seemed like the staff was more focused on talking and laughing with each other than doing their job. When I politely mentioned that the order was wrong, instead of fixing it professionally, the employee remade it very slowly and with a bad attitude. The place inside has a lot of space the tables are spread out well. Overall a good SB if in the area. I stopped by here to get a quick bite and drink before heading to a Yelp event down the street. I try to avoid this Starbucks if I am going to go in because the parking is disaterous! It mixes directly with the drive thru lane and is always a struggle getting in, out, having to try to avoid slamming into cars in the drive thru --- it's rough. That being said, if you are just using the drive-thru, you'll be fine. Tons of seating inside though if you do decide to chill here! The staff is excellent here. Quick and friendly, always working to get it all done. I've only been a few times thus far, but never had an issue with my app orders. I'll definitely be back when up in the Valley! read more

Not sure what's going on with this location. They used to be great, but for the last 3 months or so, every single time we've ordered from here there's between 1-3 things wrong with our order. Also the online ordering system is completely F'd. Even if you select a drink like an ICED caramel cream cold brew that literally has the ingredients in the name, you still have to select all the ingredients separately by selecting the cream and ice. It's Starbucks coffee, so it's supposed to be consistent. My Caramel Macchiato was on standard footing with other places. Place is spacious and relatively clean. Staff were friendly as well. In fact, one of them let me know right away there were no outlets. Which is understandable, as I could see this place being overran by people who have no where else to go. Unfortunately, I came to "stay and work." I'm only knocking out it down a notch because the lack of power options. Starbucks is supposed to be consistent and this is really the only reason why I came here. If you want a quick coffee or a quick meet up, this is your place (parking is tough). This location is a great drive thru option however not so much for going in store as parking is extremely limited and you easily get blocked in by the drive thru line. However their drinks and food are always on point and they get your order out pretty fast. This last time I went they had Polaroids up on the drive thru window of the fur babies who have gotten puppucinos there. It's so cute! read more

This is definitely a hit or miss Starbucks. I am picky as to when I am going to go here versus a different location based on the below factors: It can be tough to get into this location. It's on the corner of a very busy intersection that can get backed up easily from all directions. It's also in a kinda weird corner that shares space with a busy gas station and a mechanics. That means you're fighting to navigate with people trying to fill up their cars, fix their cars, and get their caffeine fix. Definitely Ideal. Secondly, the drive thru space is short which means there can be a long line at busy times of day. It also stretches around the very very very limited parking for this location. So if you're thinking you can save some time by going in, you might not be able to since you won't be able to either access the spots, or get stuck in it as drive thru cars block your escape. The main upside, however, is that the staff here is very friendly and do a great job making your drinks. I've never had a mistake made and never had anything other than the best of customer service. Even when they're getting slammed they are friendly, cheerful, and very willing to help. A+ for their customer service for sure. read more

Came to this location to kill some time and catch up on some work until evening plans. First off, it's a drive through and super limited parking available. I had to wait behind the drive-thru line before u could get to the one open parking spot. Poor parking & drive thru concept. Although the inside is quite spacious, and lots of tables to choose from - imagine my surprise to find ALL the outlets on the perimeter COVERED UP --- why? The only power option is to sit at the one communal table that has a power strip under the table. Service is sub par here, at least that was my experience. I love the location of this place. On the corner of Balboa and Roscoe. The one star is off for the employees not always closing the lid properly. Also, they are stingy on napkins. And the drive-through is very tight. But I am very happy they are in my neighborhood. I am willing to deal with all the crap and inconveniences. But not for too long. Call here's another update, they are still super stingy on napkins. If you don't ask for some, they will not give you any, even though they are giving you greasy sandwiches and greasy bags. The last time the coffee lid popped open as I was about to take a sip, I spilled burning hot coffee onto my self. That really sucked. I had to go home and change and shower. Instead of going to work. And the last thing that drove me to write this update again, was the forceful tipping. They are forcing you to tip them by shoving the machine right in your face. Not cool. There is no tipping at McDonald's or a Carl's Jr. or Burger King or Taco Bell or Del taco, or any other fast food drive-through. Why the heck are they asking for a tip here. This is a drive-through. This Starbucks is conveniently around the corner from my house, however it's almost always busy and the major streets are trafficky. But when I need my very berry, caramel frappe or now mango dragon fruit refreshments, it's so close that I won't be driving anywhere else. Baristas are always so sweet and nice, they always have a smile for me, and I love that (yes, I love to smile a lot, and I am sucker for genuine smile too - beware fakers, cause I'll let you know lol) Everytime I am here, everything is made perfectly and fast, yes parking situation could use some more space, but in my experience they are so fast that you don't wait for more than 5-7 minutes, and come on it's not that long of a wait. But I really always thought that the quality of Starbucks drinks was consistent from store to store. Seems it's not. I ordered the drink I always get from Starbucks, a Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino. Worst part, it was almost completely an unflavored piece of ice. Also, no whipped cream on top even though I had requested it. Just a "Grande" disappointment. I never had this problem at any other Starbucks before. I definitely won't be coming back to this one. What makes this otherwise pretty average Starbucks a location I'd prefer not to visit again is, quite simply, the terrible parking situation. The tiny lot is inexplicably in the same narrow dead-end area as the drive-through. So picture this - you pull into the parking only to realize that the tiny lot is full. But then you're really screwed... because there is no place to turn around and hey - guess what... you're also stuck in the drive-through line! A complete planning disaster. Do not attempt to park in the lot here... even if you do manage to snag one of the few spots, you won't be able to get out because you'll be competing with a long line of cars directly behind you waiting to order their coffee. Other than that mess... this is your standard Starbucks. But the parking lot makes it enough for me to say - never again. read more

Came here to do some work with my laptop and this location has absolutely no outlets to charge your laptop or phone. The only charging station was at a table that was unavailable due to COVID restrictions. Pretty ridiculous as many people come to Starbucks to sit down, have a coffee, and do their work. Although the Starbucks was absolutely empty, the manager did not let me sit at the charging table to charge my device. Very disappointing that this location remodeled and "forgot" to put outlets. If you're looking for a Starbucks where you can get work done on your laptop, don't come here (unless they fix this issue). Otherwise very spacious and quiet place. read more
