I've got to say, this is my favorite Starbucks branch yet. Other places I go to, some of them are nice, but most of the time the employees are stingy and you can tell how they're faking their kindness.
I love all the employees here, they're always very genuine and generous.
I usually don't get my order messed up here, but today I didn't get the best drink.. (my usual chai tea latte, with extra classic syrup and little bit of whip cream) ... today I also got charged extra for the syrup.. which is odd.. I mean it's literally 2 pumps of sugar water so whats the big deal? But I didn't make a fuss, it was only 50 cents or so.. Anyways I got my drink and I asked for it extra hot because I was going to class with it, and the total came up to $4.45.. (usually $4.00) and I didn't get a chance to drink it until I was almost at school. I took a sip and I was confused, it was completely bland. No sweetness.. couldn't even taste the chai.. It tasted like light cinnamon water.. I was obviously dissapointed. Especially when I asked for extra syrup. I was considering calling them and telling them about the incident, but I didn't want to sound like a freeloader or rude or anything... I finally decided to call.. I talked to the lovliest girl ever, probably the manager, but I'm not sure.. (didn't get a name). She told me she was sorry about it and I can come get a different drink after class or whenever it is convinient for me. After class I went to Starbucks and got into the drive through and started explaining the situation, and the girl immediately told me to just order whatever I want, and I can mix it up and get something different if I want.. (that made me really happy, because it got pretty warm to drink a hot drink).. I asked for a granda green tea frap with caramel, and she offered me a venti, but I took a grande, I didn't want to take more than I really needed. I got to the window and a different girl asked me for $5.80-something.. I was really confused.. I told her I just talked to someone else, and she discussed it with a girl behind her (presumably the manager), and said it's all good and gave me my drink. I wanted to thank the girl, but she was on the phone so I just left her a tip as a token of my appreciation...
I wasn't trying to freeload or get a free drink out of it.. but I appreciate that they were so generous..
I really hope no one takes advantage of that generousity though..
I had made some small talk with a cashier previously in the week about how customers order drinks and just refuse to pay, and ask for a different drink... just to freeload basically.. and the employees are too nice sometimes.. they get taken advantage of.. please don't do that to them. I'm sure they get in trouble for that if it's consistent.
Thank you so much for making your loyal customer happy.
I order from this Starbucks like every other day, if not almost everyday.
