I've yet to hear or experience any mistakes with food and drinks (not saying they don't happen, just that at this location doesn't seem very often if they do), service is the only reason Im not giving it 5 stars. One lady working there (didn't get her name, but she asks people how they're doing and offers water) is superb. She's actually the reason I'm leaving a review:) But it seems other workers don't always greet customers or keep a positive attitude such as Sean, someone who've I've even gone to school with and was friends with. It always makes me feel invisible, so when the lady was checking on me it really made me feel really acknowledged and cared for. I only hope for the other workers, at this location and others, could be more like her. Overall it's a great location, nearby many shopping and food places, and even has a balcony area that wraps around the back so you can tower over people and get pretty great views! I'm usually in such a hurry, so the thought of ordering Starbucks "for here" rather than "to go" never crossed my mind. I recently decided to enjoy my drink in the lobby and I've been missing out this whole time! My latte was served in a large ceramic mug, which I think was larger than the size I had paid for. The employees were friendly and the whole place was somehow quiet but lively. I really enjoyed being able to sip my drink with some lovely company. Rather than rushing in & out & chugging my coffee in the car, I was able to sit and really be present. I'm going to make an effort to stop in more often. read more

I live really close to this Starbucks. I go here occasionally (approx once per week) just because of the convenience factor, and have been for at least 10 years now. Pros: * They are very efficient! Whether you order via app ahead of time, or order in-store, they get drinks done very efficiently here. For me, I can order a drink from home, drive there, and be back home with my drink in under 10 min which is impressive. * I've ordered a LOT of times here, and I can't even remember the last time they got a drink wrong, or made a "skunky" drink. Cons: * It's always been an unfriendly place. Even in times when I've gone here a *lot* (when I would have to be considered a "regular" by any definition), I've felt like every time I go in there I'm treated like a complete stranger for some reason. Other issues un-related to this store: * When I first started going to Starbucks, there were quite a few sugar-free flavors (Cinnamon Dolce, Hazelnut, Chocolate, Vanilla, and even Peppermint Mocha during Holiday season). Now they've removed all of them except Vanilla... owch! * Now they are about to make a pretty big change to their rewards program to make that worse as well. As if paying $7 for a large latte wasn't enough apparently. This is why, I feel like every year Starbucks is getting worse and worse and worse in my view, and why I've consistently chosen Dutch Bros over Starbucks these last few years in particular, and will be doing so even more now going forward. DoorDashed an Iced Caramel Macchiato, but the cup they put it in had 4 VERY large slits on the side of the cup. When I took the cup out of bag the cup collapsed in my hand spilled all over my lap and desk at work. When i looked further, the bag was wet all over the bottom too because the cup was dripping inside. Please look at your cups before giving them to your customers. I was lucky that I had brought extra clothes to work with me for the gym to change into. I'm still sticky from the all coffee. Do better. read more

I've always liked Starbucks. They have a good location, a clean well kept building, and decent prices. They have pretty good (although not incredible) drinks that usually do the trick if you need a caffeine fix. The biggest downside of Starbucks is always going to be the hours. Although they open up early at 5:30am, this location on Nyberg closes far too soon at 6pm. Why? If you're late coming home from work, or if you're a late night college student, you can't ever stop by. I guess they assume that you would rather go to one of the cool hipster coffee shops that caters to the late night crowd, but it would be nice to have other convenient coffee locations too. Even staying open until 8 or 9 pm like some other shops would be a huge help. read more

Came here for a cookie after having blood drawn at the doctor's office. I like the size of the place but it isn't one of my favorite locations. There were quite a few people here and the environment was way more busy than relaxed. I don't come to this one often as there are three other Starbucks just as close to my house. Sometimes, I just have a craving for a Starbucks iced vanilla latte that has to be met. To drink a regular cup of joe from Starbucks just isn't my thing... always too bitter, but when I get a drink with flavoring and milk it meets my need just fine. There's always people hanging out inside whether they are on computers working, chatting across a table with a friend, or just sipping away at their drink, it's a welcoming place to hang. It's a Starbucks. Most all Starbucks locations are substantially the same, the only differences being the location, the people who work there, and sometimes the general layout of the store. Overall, the furnishings, decorations, build-outs, coffee bar, tables, etc, are all the same. This Starbucks location offers up the standard Starbucks coffee menu: hot milkshakes with espresso shots in them, cold milkshakes with espresso shots in them, frozen blended milkshakes with espresso shots in them, and drip coffee. The beans are, as all Starbucks beans are, IMHO, burnt, which is fine if you're drinking a milkshake, but sucks if you're drinking the coffee straight. I had myself a standard 12oz cuppa joe here, and it was as should be expected. Hot, black, and burnt. The people working here are nice enough. The clientele? Suburban. Again, it's a Starbucks. If you're reading this far into the review, you need to check yourself and go try some Stumptown, Redwing, Cellar Door, or any of the other fine local roasts. read more

One of Starbucks' less obvious goals is to create a third place. What is a third place? you might ask. Well, let me tell you. A third place is an area aside from home in which a person may spend time. This place is generally a home-y area where one can relax and socialize. Many Starbuckses indeed sufficiently carry out this goal. The one in this particular strip mall, however, does not. The space is actually very large, and almost always quiet and without a line. To get to the counter, you must walk to the very back of the store. At that time, a barista will take your order, and then insist (several times) that you need to go to the Web site listed on your receipt to give a review of that location. How I wished I had the cajones to tell her to check out Yelp. Anyway, this location wasn't particularly remarkable in any way, shape, or form, and the baristas weren't overly nice and outgoing like many other stores, either. And all that room they've got? Puhleeeeeeze! There are a bunch of really uncomfortable tables that get really hot because the sun hits just so (and the blinds are completely open. If you are lucky enough to steal one of the more nontraditional seats or loungers, be prepared: They're not very comfortable, they look like they're from the space age, and the area is filthy! There were big pieces of wilted spinach leaves all over the carpet, and crumbs all over the little cube-shaped tables. Oh, and if you're using a French press to make your coffee, for God's sake, please turn off the beeper within the first 10 seconds. It's headache-worthy. read more

She found out I was on the way to have my blood drawn and wished me well........ about 2 hours later.... we walk in..... she immediately recognized us and started our drinks again. I turned in my empty coffee bag for a free tall coffee and ordered one of their boulange pastries. they heated it up, i cheerfully waited. they set it on counter where you would pick up your drinks-no announce. Well you certainly know what you're getting here. The same as any other Starbucks. Which is fine for what it is. If you have other options, should you take them? Most likely. If you're short of time and need somewhere quick to stop on the way for your 16 week baby checkup at M.P.H. with the Mrs. will this work? Yes. I live in the city but find myself in the 'burbs a few times a week and need a good spot to work for several hours. Ten reasons this is the best place to set up your mobile office: 1. Tables are just the right size (big enough for your laptop, notebook, coffee, and water bottle; not so big that you feel guilty sitting there for hours by yourself). 2. Tons of power outlets. 3. Temperature is neither too hot nor too cold. 4. Good light from the wall of windows, even on a cloudy day. 5. Great vibe. Busy enough that there's a steady hum but I can always get a table, even in the morning. Music selection changes often (i.e. they don't just play the same CD every day) and is at just the right volume level. 6. They bring free samples around at least a couple of times in the morning and early afternoon. 7. Exceptionally nice, friendly baristas. 8. Acceptably fast wifi. 9. Lots of parking (unlike the Starbucks across from Bridgeport) that isn't time limited (unlike most of the parking in West Linn, Lake O, and Oregon City). 10. My wife and I have been at Legacy Meridian Park for the last four days for the birth of our son. I came here almost every morning during our stay. My experience each day was better than the last. Today what I hope is our last day at the hospital Elisa was working on drinks. She asked me about my holiday weekend and I shared my news. She lit up and told me congratulations. Then when I went to pay she told me my drinks were taken care of. It's these types of small gestures that make a huge impact and can be so contagious. Keep it up. I don't always have good experiences at Starbucks my experience here was amazing. The staff were so friendly and social. They were all very smiley and helpful. The location was also very cute and the merch and gifts and goodies they sold were not what I find at the typical starbucks.
