Probably my second favorite Peet's in the metro area after the one on NE Broadway. Spacious and modern, the environment is warm and inviting. The pastry case is usually pretty stocked at this location! The prices are reasonable for food and beverage compared to the industry standard. I had a latte and a croissant on this visit... both were noticeably above average. The indoor seating options are nice but not the most comfortable. Considering how short the line was for ordering, it took quite a while for my drink to be served at the bar. They could probably use a second barista to make drinks... maybe the secondary person was on a break when I stopped by? The staff is kind and engaged well from ordering to serving my coffee. Parking is a bit of a challenge but there are lots and a structure within two blocks or so. They offer mobile ordering if you're in a hurry and want to grab something faster to go. Peet's hits the spot. Like they're really good actually. I got a holiday spice latte and it was perfect. The almond croissant is also really yummy and it's big too. The staff is very nice. Happened to be visiting the Portland metro over last summer, and as I recalled my visit - it was nice to see & be somewhere familiar (visiting from the San Francisco Bay Area). To be honest, I appreciate the quality of the coffee, tea, pastries & snacks available at Peet's locations. They simply provide excellent service by their baristas & crew members. Yes, this is a chain of coffee shops but the experience is more like a local, involved, and personable coffee place. Seriously, the only coffee shop to have the amazing foamed milk & perfect ratio of breve to espresso. Kudos to Rose & Kelly for always having a smile & warm greeting when you walk in the door. Highly recommended to get your caffeine fix when you're in Tigard! read more

By far one of the worst mochas I've ever had in my life. Too hot to drink right away and by the time I took my first sip, it tasted like water and a hint of chocolate. I've had more of a chocolate or coffee taste from a gas station drink. I opened up my drink and it's lighter than a mocha and has oil resting on top. Absolutely terrible. read more

Very nice coffee shop in Bridgeport Village. On the corner in the village, the parking lot can become busy real quick with other shops nearby, and it's always busy inside with friends catching up- It's a little loud inside, so not sure how good it is for concentration like studying / reading. Great coffee and yummy pastries to enjoy too. Service is always friendly and baristas know how to make a good quad white mocha. read more

As a Bay Area CA native, Pete's coffee has always been on my list of coffee shops I frequent. When I moved to Portland, OR they were not as available as they were in the Bay Area, so it was nice to find this one at Bridgeport Village. It is located next to the nail salon that I frequent and it's nice to know that if I want to enjoy a coffee or hot Coco, I can grab one conveniently before going in for my appointment. Pete's definable has a deeper, more robust and complex flavor to their drip brews than say a Starbucks. I particularly like their drip coffees and hot Coco. They also often partner with local artisanal bakeries for their pastry menus which I appreciate. I do not gravitate to their "dressed up menu" items such as holiday coffees like perming mochas or A little history on Pete's... "When the three founders of Starbucks were looking to start their company, they contacted Peet, who "became like a father mentor" to them. He allowed the three young men to copy the layout of his store and shared his suppliers." I will continue to frequent this Pete's and others based on their consistent and robust coffee blend. read more

I mean, how do you discontinue SOY MILK?!?!?! I've never been to a Peet's before. I drink their coffee at home, so I'm fairly sure the coffee here is good. There was confusion about where the line was. The guy with the gray hair made it awkward. There were two lines formed because the place does not clearly designate where you are to stand for queueing up. Out of frustration, I left. He didn't handle the situation well at all. read more

Incorrectly made the first set of drinks. Ordered ahead to pick up. Drinks had to be remade and were put in queue behind a whole lot of other drinks. Waiting for more than 25 minutes. A couple of weeks later, came in to try again and ordered two drinks. Service is horribly slow. The baristas take their sweet time, even though there is a crowd. Expect to wait for half an hour for your drink. To top it all off, wrong drink size and lukewarm drink. Used to come to this location for years, and will not be continuing to do that. read more

Grab a parking space but go in and get a BLACK TIE and be prepared for a sugar rush. So delicious. So is the Marionberry cheese danish.

Service is fantastic and its a cozy place to meet up with friends and catch up. I love getting their Vanilla latte which is always hot and you can actually taste their coffee which has a rich and robust flavor. The bakery goods are also not bad either. The sticky bun and I believe zuchiini cake was pretty flavorful. Also a convienent stop if you're planning to get some shopping done in the bridgeport mall area or just walk around. read more

This is my first time here, we came here to use the restroom and also to grab a coffee lol. The customer service here is great, I was looking for a blonde roast and they didn't have any but the barista , Sarah very kindly volunteered to French press it for me with fresh Costa Rican Aurora beans! This weekend I was in the Bridgeport area, so .. wanting to revisit a FAV spot where I enjoyed so many great times I dropped in to the Peets coffee shop. The experience was akin to the Steinfeld sitcom segment of the Soup Nazi .. when I walked in I had a circle to stand on while social distancing, once my time had come I obediently stepped forward to give my order (they were out of coffee of the day fresh brewed), I was then instructed to go and stand on a particular spot by the window until my name was called to pick up my plain coffee. The lack of warmth and chairless room was like being in line at a local post office. Sad to see an old favorite become just another Starbucks in the Portland area. read more

Peet's is one of the tastiest coffee places in existence. If you are looking for quality coffee, make sure to stop by. At this location, you will find incredibly nice employees and a speedy wait between ordering and receiving your drinks. I usually order decaf due to a problem with my heart, and every time I go in they are happy to whip up a pot of it just for me (and can do it in less than 2 minutes!). Thank you to the really kind cashiers who are always accommodating and never look inconvenienced when my order requires them to take a few extra minutes, even if there's a big line. Always clean and inviting, Peet's is a great business. I've always had good service and excellent coffee. I don't like this location much because it's always packed and loud. Still, I see why folks gather here--it's pleasant and the pastries look amazing. Bridgeport could use at least one more coffee shop to answer the demand. For me, coming here or to Barnes and Noble's cafe is great answer to avoiding action movies that my husband and son are drawn to see. This time, I'm avoiding Get Hard while prepping for work next week. read more

Whew! Thank goodness! They fixed whatever the heck went wacko with the coffee so it is no longer tar sludge. It's back to being the yummy delicious Peet's it's always been. It's still hard to give them more stars because although it's great coffee it's still not a very inviting place to stay for longer than it takes to cream up your cup 'o joe and take it to go. It's always packed with people though and the only alternatives are *$'s literally across the street or whole paycheck also across the street. I do love their pastries oh so much though plus free wi-fi is nice because *$'s makes you jump throw razor-wire hoops and charges you through the nose for their version of the interwebs. Love Peet's! The free delivery they have had off and on during Covid has been awesome. I have never had my drink made wrong, and I usually have a few modifications. Their almond milk is my fave! Ok, so yeah, it's a Peet's. It's California's answer to Starbucks... but... The coffee is way better. That means the world to me. Plus, as far as I know, unlike other certain international coffee brands, Peet's doesn't do stuff like buy up the Clover coffee maker corporation then jack the maintenance and service fees way up, causing everyone that had a Clover machine to ditch it and effectively cornering the market on the machines (then wasting them on crappy coffee). Ok, so corporate-based rant aside, this specific Peet's location has super friendly (and extremely cracked out on coffee) employees, fast service, the standard offering of pastries, etc, and strong, decent coffee. The crowd in here is quite lively for a mid-morning session (although with the current recession, I find that most coffee shops are bustling these days), and there are plenty of tables to sit and work. I always try to support local coffee, but sometimes necessity dictates turning to a chain like Peet's. At least, as far as the coffee itself goes, Peet's does a decent job of keeping it real.. especially where other chains fail. read more

Bridgeport Peet's is solid. They're friendly, they get your order right. They really try hard to remember their regular customers. In the (maybe) two instances my order has been incorrect, over the past 5+ years, they've corrected it immediately. I've really grown to like and look for the same faces. I love that this Peet's has some longtime staff. Great coffee, even decaf. I really wish we lived in a Peet's dominant area because their coffee really is superior to so many other brands, even some of the really expensive "craft" local stuff we were subscribing to. Simply given that there are so few real Peet's locations here in the area, I was a little taken aback at how few people were working at such a busy location when I stopped in yesterday to meet a Bay Area friend for coffee and to pick up some rations for the house. What also has made me knock this location down a star is the fact that their furnishings are rundown-like super run down. I don't think I saw a single chair that did not have a rip, a row of duck tape or some other type of "quick fix" to it. Corporate needs to do a spot check here and pronto and due to this place being at the busy outdoor mall, should not be understaffed during the Christmas season. read more

This was my first time in a Peet's. I was very surprised that they do not have butter for bagels, only cream cheese that is 75 cents extra. A triple espresso is $3.10 compared to $2.65 at Starbucks. Now that I've been to a Peet's, I'll probably never go back. There prices seem extraordinary, and they don't have the over polish that all Starbuck's see to have. Butter is not a crime read more

Peet's coffee is very tasty and not over-roasted like some other chains. Their barista's are really what sets them apart though. Rather than heating up a gallon of milk at a time (notice I say "heating" not "steaming"), the folks at Peet's will carefully steam your milk in a quantity perfect for just your drink. The milk is then slowly poured with a spoon holding back the foam. As a result, you get a texture that is much more satisfying than just heated up milk. They also give a small amount of foam on top, which really seals the drink. The store is tastefully appointed and classy looking. And I cannot tell you how pleasant it is to have my order taken by somebody without neck tattoo's, without a railroad spike pierced through their head, with monochromatic hair color, and who smiles with the sincerity that says "I'm glad to work there and glad to be serving you as a customer". Coffee shops throughout the Northwest could learn something from the Bridgeport Peet's. Many of us don't want to "keep it weird", and don't like attitude with our coffee; particularly first thing in the morning. My drink: medium mocha, no whip. Finally, if you're not a tea drinker, this is a good place to start; the selection of teas is very good and the quality is excellent as well. read more

So I get into Tigard (from Tillamook) a mere 40 minutes before my CLE was to start (damn you 26/217 traffic! Where are you when I need you? (I keed, I keed!)), so obviously needed to find something to do to kill some time and hopefully cure me from my 5:45 wakeup time this morning (ugh). We used to live in Tualatin, so I'm relatively familiar with the area. The choices nearby (as I understand them to be) are: Starbucks across the street, Borders Cafe, the coffee bar in Whole Paycheck (oh, I mean Foods) also across the street or Peet's. I know Borders makes average coffee. I know Whole Foods makes a solid mocha, but I thought I'd give Peet's a try. I agree with Don B....Peet's are better than Starbucks. The coffee's better. This location is in Bridgeport (right by the south entrance). The cashier was friendly and chipper, the barista acted stressed and unhappy. Which is fine so long as my coffee is right. It turned out pretty well today. The beans are decent, the chocolate wasn't too much or too sweet, and the milk was foamed nicely. They have a pretty wide selection of pastries as well as beans and a fairly impressive offering of loose leaf teas. It was pretty damn busy for 8:30 on a Thursday morning--no line, but most seats were taken and there was a healthy buzz of conversation throughout the shop. All in all a perfectly fine place. Nothing to go out of your way for, but if you're in the area abd needing some caffeine, you probably won't be disappointed. read more

Do you want to start going to a coffee shop where they actually learn your name and drink? Because I kept going to the same Starbucks over and over again and they never-ever-caught on. So I switched to Peet's, and got the recognition and better-tasting coffee that I deserved. The seating area is a little chaotic; I probably wouldn't want to hang out and write the next great American novel here. But I wouldn't do that anyway, because I write nonfiction. So ha. I always see the same people working and visiting, which makes it a comfy-happy part of my morning. The lattes are very good. Coffee isn't bitter, syrup isn't too sweet. They even sprinkle it with happy nutmeg for you. With so many choices between me and my office, Peet's can't be beat. read more

Peet's tea is so much better than Starbuck's. Peet's bagged tea isn't the best, but still superior to Starbuck's Tazo but I really enjoy having a pot of the loose leaf tea at Peet's. I especially like the Jasmine Downy Pearls green tea. I bought a tin of it to seep at home and it's kept fresh for several months now and saved me a lot of money in tea. The matcha freddo tastes better than the Starbucks and Jamba juice versions. Mmmmm, guilty pleasure. I didn't really care for their hot chocolate... It's supposed to be really good, I don't know, I guess drinking chocolate has ruined regular hot chocolate for me. read more
