I stopped by Starbucks located within Tangers Outlet Mall in Texas City, TX for a quick cafe vanilla frapp. This is my favorite drink, it is my go-to so I have drank many over the years. Let me first say the four ladies working today (around 12:30-1:00p) were outstanding. They greeted me with a smile and a welcoming hello. The place was packed, yet they still were warm and friendly. It didn't take long to place my order and then to get my drink. I took a sip as I was walking to throw away my straw wrapper and wow...just WOW!!! I had to walk back over to the counter to ask who made my drink. Natalie informed me she had made my drink. I need to stress, the smile never left her face. The kindness never left her voice. I told her this was the very best cafe vanilla frapp I had ever had and I thanked her for her care and attention, I would enjoy my drink on this 100+° day. I went outside, grabbed some more money from my husband and went back inside and gave the ladies a bigger tip. I've never left a review - anywhere. I hope this makes it to the powers that be so they will know how wonderful these women are. Thank you for the delicious drink. read more

I love this location. The drinks are always good. The staff is nice and it's a good location to just sit back and people watch. My favorite thing about this location is that it seems I'm always meeting travelers. Last week I spent hours talking to a couple from Germany. Today I sat back and talked to a family from Australia. Anyway, this location requires a tiny bit of a walk depending on where you park, but it's my favorite. read more

They charged me almost $5 for a an espresso macchiato (espresso with a little bit of milk foam) and when I asked why it was so expensive, they told me it's because "it had been recently taken off the menu and it had to special ordered"... I noticed they don't even have plain espressos on their menu anymore... And they call themselves coffee specialists?? read more

In response to someone's review regarding a barista named Lindsey, she cannot call out orders because she is DEAF. Please understand that she is doing her best and she is making use of what she has. I am amazed that Starbucks hires disabled people and give them a chance to be part of the workforce. This Starbucks has the best staff. They are all around friendly and hospitable. This place has had 4 different Store Managers in less than a 4 year period...Most leave&I am starting to understand why...In general, the baristas(?) mostly greet me(except for those who ignore me) &a fair few of them are kind. I dislike the patronizing voice that the new SM uses when she talks to me. It seems inhuman to have that scale in your voice&makes you seem very disingenuous. If you do have a complaint prepare yourself to be ghosted by the DM. I doubt anyone there really cares&they just fake it for tips. The turn over there is crazy&they get rid of the good employees(or they leave) &keep the most foul individuals who take your drink to the back to get "ice" not 1x but 2x....way to be Gaston! Gaston is the worst! I've seen him have 15 min conversations about lifting weights! No one cares! He even snapchats it&I've seen him get girls(&guys) snaps/#s/FB whilst on the clock! My go to location anytime the mall is open! Staff is wonderful and always friendly, even when they have a crazy rush. They're really good about doing the drinks right in a timely manner and very clean. If you're out shopping on a hot day or on your break at work, its the best place to go for free water and quick bite. read more

The wait is long here sometimes but if you get one of the good baristas like Kelli, you'll get the best drink you've had in a while. I got 3 shots over ice and even though there were other orders, she made sure to be personable and to make my drink exactly as I like it. However, second one was failed to be called out so my boyfriend went to see where the second order was and asked an employee named Lindsey if she would know what happened with our second order and she rudely pointed to the counter and mugged and walked away.
