The smoothest coffee I have ever tried! They freshly roast their own coffee beans and man is it good!

I love coming to this apothecary for pungent seasoning and spices. They sell everything in giant…read moremason jars, so you know what you're picking out. They even sell bulk items such as nuts, flour, nutritional yeast, dried fruit, natural detergent, oils, loose-leaf teas, etc. Some are made in-house, including vegan hot chocolate mix. I like getting my seasonings and spices here, opposed to the grocery store, because it is very fresh and hasn't been sitting out for years upon years on end. There aren't a lot of raw vegan restaurants down south of 45, but surprise, surprise, Natural Living has raw vegan onsite. I've only eaten there twice, and due to the limited hours throughout the week. I am only able to get down here on the weekends in the morning. I frequent Nokturne more as a vegan restaurant in CL, just due to the simple fact of the flexibility of hours. At Natural Living, I ordered the taco salad; it was vegan meat crumbles and veggies. There were more veggies than meat. A limited amount of dressing to lather the veggies, so it made the salad a bit dry, but tasty. I loved the peanut butter cookies on sale. They were my favorite. I love that they have a food fair program for organic fruits/vegetables from local gardeners. I'm not a big fan of organic anything as I feel that it is more of a marketing gimmick, but if others care about that, that's a perk. The program is very affordable. I've personally never tried it, but I always wanted to. The ambiance can be a bit off; the staff is sometimes nice, sometimes don't want to be bothered. The apothecary side of things system is just grab jars of what you want, and they weigh it, put it in baggies, and you pay for it. However, things can get complicated when there a multiple people on the apothecary side and there is nowhere to wait since the whole building is tight and small. Now the pricing; this establishment isn't the cheapest, but when you factor in the value of what you are purchasing with the quantity of goods, then you are getting a solid deal. They sell crystal jewelry, and parking is across the street. I always tell people I'm going to the apothecary, and when they Google it, they can't find it, so it is definitely a hidden gem. I would have given them 5 stars across the board, but with the very limited hours not good for the working class working between 8 am - 5 pm; they close at 6 pm, closed on Sundays and Mondays. I hate that, but I will continue to only come on Saturdays.

The membership gives you access to their weekly food shares of fruits and vegetables you may not otherwise have access to, and they offer herbal shares as well. Lisa, the owner, is sweet and welcoming. She's been helpful in getting me acclimated to how everything works. The more I go, the more I learn. She's an herbalist and offers consultations as well. And even though it can be busy during the food shares pickup hours, she always makes time to engage. The whole staff has been warm and welcoming and it's to no surprise. The atmosphere is serene. There's a sense of peace that comes over me when I walk in. Me and my husband enjoy sitting down for a bite to eat from the organic cafe. The food is amazing. It's all handcrafted, with high-quality organic ingredients. It's gluten free and made from scratch. If you can't stay and eat you can call in your order to-go. Also, with the membership you get discounts on bulk items and certain events. You can lend a hand and volunteer as well. It feels like you're walking into a family home that its main goal is to assist you in your health and healing journey. It's a complete mind, body, and heart experience. I'm happy to be part of the family.

They do an outstanding job with the temperature of the food... the salad came in chilled bowls and the soup was piping hot! The quiche was good but I really enjoyed my soup... and they come with "toasties", buttered and seasoned bread toasted and cut into strips (I think in Britain they call them "toast soldiers"). My friends got the tea and they bring each person a large teapot and a basket of assorted tea bags. I got coffee-it was pecan flavored (you can purchase it at the boutique next door, Nana's). We each got 2 cake balls for dessert... for future reference, one is enough! They're small but mighty (rich!). I got the pumpkin and chocolate and the chocolate was my fave. They also have a cookie butter (they ran out of) that I'm looking forward to trying next time. The cute little restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. We will make Holly Berry a regular stop for our ladies lunches!

Casual ambiance with plenty of Knick knacks to see. Great variety available on the menu. We tried the lemonade and the lavender lemonade and both were pretty good. We ate the Bouquet which consisted of tuna salad, chicken salad and egg salad on a bed of spring salad. Everything was good. I prefer my tuna and chicken salad to have a little more sweetness to it but everything was good. Plenty of textures from the nuts and apples. I would come again to try something else but wouldn't make a special trip. It stays busy here. Very nicely organized but not a fancy tearoom like others. This is more casual but still nice. They have little girls dresses hanging maybe for a special little girl party.

The inside is setup with a warm interior that really takes you right out of the busy city nestled away from a really busy highway. Here you order at the counter and your drink is brought to your seating area. My first unfortunate experience is that the sofa-lite chair cushion has been pretty worn down, so sitting in it wasn't the most comfortable - not a dealbreaker but its noticeable. But my much bigger disappointment is how when the cà phê sữa đá (vietnamese iced coffee) comes out... it tasted just like regular drip coffee with condensed milk. A coffee you'd normally find yourself sipping through a conversation can just easily be chugged down seeing how thin it was. I'm not even going to give them a hard time of what kind of coffee was used either since every location has their preference. I'm only talking about it's overall richness. Regardless; beautiful place, large menu, I will probably return and try something else. Good vibes, just don't expect rocket fuel.

It was during traffic time so we were trying to kill time. When we walked in, super cozy and I like the vibe. We ordered ice Vietnamese coffee with boba, iced ginger tea and a Vietnamese sandwich. My bf said the coffee with boba was very good- boba was chewy. For the ginger tea you- if you love ginger this would be a good tea especially since there's honey and spice. The Vietnamese sandwich was delicious, love the toasted baguette. To anyone in the area looking for a cafe, I would recommend this place!

The coffee is a bit different, but it's easy to find something you like. I usually get the Deep State Cold Brew. the shaken espresso is pretty good too. I will buy a bag of beans periodically. I would hope that they are fair trade, which is not clear, but some of their beans are organic, and they brew up tasty at home. The atmosphere is nice. The counter staff are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. Usually good spots available to sit and get a bit of work done, unless it's one of the rare days where the place is totally full. Good scenerey usually. it's a mix of NASA people, university students and other odds and ends from the community. They play crappy music, but not too loud, so easy to tune out. The thing that needs the most improvement are the baked goods. Absolutely terrible. At first I thought they had Costco muffins or something similar, but in truth, Costco muffins would be a BIG improvement. Their baked goods suck. LOL! But that's not going to keep me from coming here. Definitely an all around good coffee shop.
