I had always heard about Perfecto's delicious bagels, but I never experienced one until today. The stars just aligned for me. Now I sit in my car in the parking lot with sesame seeds in my lap and cream cheese smeared on my iPhone, because I have to get the word out about this place for anyone who did not know how good it is. I consider it my civic duty. So fresh, so delicious it was Per...I won't go there....just so damn good!! When I shared with the staff that it was my first time there and I always wanted to try the bagels, the sweet cashier smiles and said, "I'm so excited for you getting to try your first Perfecto's bagel," and I honestly felt that she meant it. Coffee was delicious as well, every flavor imaginable and very fresh and good! Great service, staff, products and at a fair price. Love this place and will be hitting all the other locations as I come across them.

They do heat the muffins up before bagging/boxing, so you get a warm one, but not necessarily a fresh one. What might be pillowy and pancakey one day might be just a warm version of dry another day. Flavors are okay. Not a bad muffin by any means; just ordinary aside from size. Nice touch: Many muffin flavors to choose from. Drawback: Slow moving line. Nice touch: They have muffin samples. When we were in the process of losing our soul mate of a dog to lung cancer they would go above and beyond for our random orders and would always try to bring a smile to our face when we would pick it up. She wouldn't eat so we would call & ask for plain unseasoned grilled chicken or just bacon or whatever it was they always helped us out. Her last meal was bacon on the beach (her favorite place). But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. He doesn't usually have any sugar in his coffee, but tried it the way the drink was suggested (with cream and sugar) and wasn't disappointed. I went with the Khmae which was Robusto coffee and condensed milk. It was absolutely perfect with that blend of flavor and sweetness you would expect of a Vietnamese style coffee. Didn't get food but I could smell them cooking fresh and great to see the options available for those on SNAP as a way to give back to the community.

More recently I got their seasonal mango sticky rice matcha and it was very very good I would likely reccomend a matcha over a coffee if you were to come here. I had a baked good and it was only alright, I would skip it. The atmosphere is hit or miss, sometimes the artwork they have on display is nice but sometimes it is kind of freaky. It also is typically pretty hot and a little smelly with sticky tables. The staff could not be nicer though, they are very knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to help if you have questions and get your coffee ready quickly.
