Some of the staff here are really nice and they do not too bad for being constantly busy, hence the 2 stars. I was really hungry and I have GI issues so I need my food out in a ok time at least. I watched the food person make my impossible sandwich and then put in on the back counter for 15 minutes and I kept trying to get their attention so I can have it. I already had my other order and ordered nothing else. When I finally asked why it took so long for them to call my name out the gentleman asked if I asked for my food? Like I shouldn't have to ask for the food I paid for! Or else they wouldn't call out food orders at all. They called everyone's else's out but let mine get cold. His defense was that I never asked for my food! What a shame. read more

This place is a who place where the staff is really friendly. If you need someone to talk to you come here and they usually only have one person on the bar making all the drinks while everyone is chatting it up but very friendly people. As a barista... They need to hire a whole new team. Every time I go, they mess up my order. When I ask for extra ice, they put like 5 cubes, when I ask for one pump, they put the full amount of pumps, and my hot lattes are like half full. I have never bothered to "check-in" when it comes to Starbucks, but this one specifically wasn't somewhere I'd go back to. First time here because it was the closest one where we were at. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the drink I ordered tasted as I expected, but man, the place is sooo unkempt and dirty. Great customer service from the register lady to the barista guy forgot to mention I wanted blonde espresso in my white mocha and she said no problem. The barista even asked how to pronounce my name just so he didn't say it wrong . Coffee tasted great Maybe cause they were closing in an hour the place was very clean they were mopping and the place looked very clean. They even played great music. read more

Bad service. Waited for 10 Minutes for plain blond roast. Store not busy. No one asked if I was waiting for drink. When I finally got drink, it was lukewarm and when I told clerk he said I did not pick up on time. I was waiting at counter and saw nothing being done. Coffee given was the dregs. The clerk started brewing new batch and still No one told me what was going on. All in all I waited about 25 minutes for a tall blonde. I would LOVE this Starbucks if it were a bit brighter. My goodness I feel like I am going to go blind if I study here too long. Otherwise I come by often to study because the parking lot here is easier to navigate compared to some other coffee places. + Service: the baristas are super! They're great, man! I don't know their names but they're the most friendly baristas in town, bar me and the staff at the Gathering Cafe at First Baptist. :P + Location: wind down from a day of walking around the mall + Loitering students: like me, preferable to the dramamamas who loudly dish their never-ending, highly hyped, super-complicated gossip and problems. I then waited for 5 minutes while she did other stuff and then came back and said, "Oh are you ready.." like I hadn't been standing there for 5 minutes fiddling my thumbs. The people who work there are all very nice and friendly, however the actual service leaves something to be desired. To be clear, this isn't the employees faults, they all are always working hard. This is most likely a management issue that doesn't have them working smart. The wait is incredibly long. It's not just because there are mobile orders, but from what I've witnessed multiple times, there is no longer a system in place. Everyone behind the counter is all over the place jumping from cashier, to hot beverages, to iced beverages. It's like there are a lot of people behind the counter, but because there doesn't seem to be a clear assembly line style system in place, the wait time drags on. Disappointing. read more

I requested dark roast and was told that they would have to brew it, being in a hurry I took PIKES instead. When I recieved it it was below even warm. I requested that it be put in a microwave since as I said I was in a hurry. I was told that they knew it was not hot and they would brew some fresh. 11/16/17~ I chose this place to have a business meeting and I thought it would be quiet . When I pass it, it always looks quiet, but not so. We could bearly discuss our business. Of course, I know it's in the mall and Delta is across the street, but I got fooled. Anyway, my caramel brûlée and lemon pound cake were delicious as always. For the first time I received my coffee with all the bells and whistles. For a Starbucks located by the mall I was surprised that they didn't have a drive-thru. It was really tiny too! Brought a mug to the cashier for purchase and she ended up dropping it on the counter. I told her to replace it with the last one they had left. She ended up giving me one with a damaged box. What she should have done was replaced the box with the good one I had first brought to her. To add insult to injury, I ordered white mocha and ended up with chocolate mocha! read more

The location is in a very decent area. The ambiance in this Starbucks is great. The music is something, the workers are friendly, and the overall service is great. Using those fancy names for small ,med and Large. I guess I'm a bit stubborn. I rufuse to use propaganda in any way. So when I go. I say I want a Large. This Starbucks location get's five stars. Just for the simple fact. The counter guys asked " Sir do you want a large" Little update January 27th 2018. It's been a year or two since I've last came to the Starbucks location. After a day of shopping at the Sherwood Mall. My youngest daughter wanted some Starbucks right before we went home. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. I just wanted a standard tea and my daughter wanted a mocha latte. It wasn't too packed inside so we were able to find some tables as we waited for a drinks. As we were waiting for a drinks I noticed there is a section to the far-right of the counter where you could order online/app and you can pick up your drinks there. Our names were called and the drinks were made so we sat down. I drank my drink really really fast and my daughter she needed to add a little bit of sugar for hers. We had a pretty good time talking chatting taking pictures uploading pictures etc etc. The WiFi here at this location was working very very good. That's also a big Plus in my book. I love the outdoor seating area which offers a beautiful view of the area especially the The indoor is spacious & has a large seating area but this seems to be a popular location, so the seats fill up quickly. I'm deducting a star because for such a busy & large location it only has 2 restrooms, male & female, & the male restrooms have only a single stall. I usually go to this location because it's closest to where I live. The hours are pretty reasonable and the baristas are always nice and friendly :) There's plenty of seating inside and a lot of natural light from the windows which is nice for studying (unless you're trying to avoid glare on your laptop, in which case maybe not, haha). The lines are usually pretty short and I always get my drink within a reasonable amount of time, but I usually come mid afternoon when it's not super busy. There's a good amount of parking available but there's a one way section so you kind of have to loop around if you're coming from the back. I've always gotten good customer service from the staff and the location is pretty convenient for me so I'll probably be back pretty often since I'm a student and I need caffeine :) read more

Ordered a caramel macchiato iced extra Caramel. Customer service was great like always. Only reason I'm giving them a 3 star rating is bc the outside was not well taken care of. Tables were extremely dirty as well as garbage laying all around the sitting area. Also no extra caramel was added to my drink but I was charged for it. It gets packed in here! Very popular spot. Right across from the community college and right in the area where both malls are at. Well played, Starbucks! The foot traffic is unbelievable. Nonetheless, still a great place to get your homework in. I would not come here too often though because it can get pretty noisy. I was helped by DeAnna, Madisen/Madison (I forgot how it was spelled) and Denali(??? Barely seen her name tag). They were okay on customer service. Nothing terrible. My drinks were not made up to par, but I was not really worried about it. I just wanted some coffee in my system. They are pretty adamant about "light" anything. I wanted more almond milk, but they made sure to let Denali know that I asked for light almond milk so she used water. Haha. No big deal! But I did not know it was ever that serious. My cup was barely even filled to the top, but hey.. Not a problem. I was able to get all the things I needed to get done so I was very happy about that. read more

I usually don't drink Starbucks, but I did need a pick me up while going up and down Pacific Avenue. I decided to talk a walking tour after Sherwood Mall and be a local tourist and needed the extra help of a soy latte to get me through the adventure. This location is pretty big for a typical Starbucks, very clean, very practical, and the staff is super nice. The cashier made me right away, she knew I was from The City; how? I have no idea, I should've asked, however I'm guessing it was from my SFPCU card I paid with... but I did walk in and out in less than 5 minutes with a nice steaming cup of soy latte and continued on my wayward journey up and down Pacific Avenue!
