New store this year! 2019 The baristas are awesome with lots of enthusiasm and knowledge. There is a Drive-thru, and inside has a lot of seating with a really open environment. The parking lot is a little small though. It also has nice big windows. We watched the building being built specially for this Starbucks so that's pretty cool. It is in an area which could get some transient non paying patrons, but I didn't see any during my visit on the last day of the year. If you are traveling on I-90 and need a coffee for the road, this would definitely be my recommendation! Easy on and off the freeway. Take the Maple street exit if you are traveling East, stay in the left lane and turn left on Walnut. One block and you are here!

We came here for a Starbucks pop up party on December 31, 2019. Who can resist free coffee? When we arrived just before 1 pm, the party was already in full swing. We ordered our free tall espresso drinks and waited a short while as the barista fixed our orders. He was extremely efficient and my soy latte was made to perfection. This coffee shop has a nicely designed interior with a number of comfortable chairs. The drive through will always be busy as it is located on the way to work for many people. I was very impressed with the enthusiasm of all the baristas. I am glad that this Starbucks was opened earlier this year.

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been too. Ordered an iced Anericano which should've been an easy order. What I got was a lukewarm, watered down, drink with no ice. Don't go here.

Ok so I work at a competing coffee stand in Spokane but still come to this Starbucks location for coffee on my days off so every time I come here I get amazing service everyone is so sweet however today I came through and again got Fantastic service but my coffee was significantly empty and for the almost 6$ I paid there was about 2 inches of coffee gone before my first drink

Four out of five times in one week the pike place drip has been cold, old and weak. Moving on to the next coffee stand.

Atticus Coffee and Gifts combines two of my favorite things: a great gift shop and a great coffee…read moreshop. And out of all the new businesses I visited in 2025, this was my favorite. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

When we arrived, the customer service at the bar for pickup was just as great--smooth, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. The food definitely delivered. The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Hatch Beaker + Burr -- Spokane, WA…read more Midweek in Spokane and I was not expecting to walk into what felt like a warm hug disguised as a café. Wednesday morning. Doors open. Immediate vibe shift. Warm. Vibrant. Eclectic mix of humans scattered throughout -- laptops open, friends mid-laugh, someone clearly pretending to work. The energy felt alive without being chaotic. That's a sweet spot. The woman who served us? Absolute pro. Friendly with everyone. The kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Easy to talk to. Zero rush. Hospitality done right. We grabbed a solid-sized table for the group while one of the crew made a pastry run. Strong team execution. Now for the order: Iced latte. Almond milk. Honey. My control beverage. My combine drill. It was exactly what I expected -- smooth, balanced, no drama. And somehow... it tasted better because of the room. Setting matters. Coffee absorbs vibes. That's science.* (*Not verified.) This is one of those places you can: * Meet friends for breakfast * Post up and "work" for 4 hours * Or grab a quick coffee before pretending you're not late Would I come back? Absolutely. For the coffee, yes. For the vibes? Immediately. If you're visiting Spokane, this is a must-stop. No overthinking required. You could tell right away the beans were quality and treated right. Nothing over-roasted or hidden behind milk. This is one of those places where you don't just grab coffee--you stay. We sat, laughed, told stories, and just enjoyed the moment. You can tell…read morethe baristas here really care about making a good, fun and creative drink for their customers and the regular + seasonal menu reflects that---as well as the time they take in making your drink. Even though it's on the more expensive side, I think their attention in making even one drink that you order does make it feel worth it. Plus, my latte was so rich and creamy, which also makes it feel like a more high quality latte, unlike some more casual chains where a drink can be less reliable in taste. Also they play good music- it made for a very welcome change in atmosphere compared to other food/drink spots in spokane that are so white
