Creamy and spicy without too much sweetness. I often get my coffee beans from here. They print their roast date on the bottom of the bag (roasted at their hyattsville location) and they always have a great variety of beans. Occasionally I'll get an almond croissant and enjoy it if there's seating. On nice days, there are benches right outside, even with a view of the parking lot and the construction across the street, it can be nice. I enjoy this location, though parking is tight. If you're not lucky enough to get a spot, you can park next door in the paid lot behind the businesses right past Vigilante.

The espresso was smooth and mild -- not too bitter or sour. The service was average, as I waited over 10 minutes to receive my drink. Prices were reasonable for a small coffee shop. There is a seating area, but depending on the day and time, it can get very crowded and the music can be quite loud. It's not the best place if you're looking for a quiet spot to sit and read. There's a small parking lot in front of the shop, but spaces are limited. Some customers park briefly to grab drinks and leave, and if your car gets blocked in, you may need to wait before exiting.

The restaurant…read morefeatures comfortable seating and a large bar that effectively divides the space, accommodating both diners and those working on laptops. We decided to order breakfast to-go. Although there was a line, it moved quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. We tried the 12oz lattes, which were decent but could use a little extra flair to elevate the flavor. On the bright side, the Sweet Corn Waffle and the Waffles with Fresh Berries were both absolutely delicious and a highlight of our meal.

Today we took a drive to Kaldi's to order some breakfast to-go. The restaurant was really packed but the ordering process was actually pretty smooth. We ordered their 12oz lattes, my drink was modified to add a splash of almond milk. The lattes sadly weren't anything special and could probably benefit from some cinnamon or a flavor of some sort to bring a little personality to the drink. To eat, we ordered their waffles (sorry for the to-go pictures) I ordered the sweet corn waffle and my boyfriend ordered the waffles with fresh berries. The waffles were PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!! Probably the best and most creative waffles I've had in a long time. The sweet corn waffles were magical. The addition of jalapeño peppers perfectly balanced off the sweet flavor seeping through the waffles. It was beautifully paired. The waffles were also very creamy and soft. Only downside is that I didn't care for the random garnish of corn of top but I get the presentation. This might have been better if it was seasoned or sautéed but the random corn didn't add or take away from the dish. My boyfriend lovedddddd his waffles and berries and said that it was the perfect breakfast selection. I'll definitely come back to order more waffles but also wished that they had a way of conducting pick up through their online portal. As mentioned, it was packed in there but there were some nice seating around the restaurant so I assume that you'll need to get there really early in order to dine in. Overall, I'll return and hopefully I can try another beverage.

It was in front of the Silver Spring library in a separate island on its own. It's a bit difficult to describe but if you walk on the Fenton St, you ll see little flags/banners (attached in my pictures). Follow them and go past the railing and the store is on the first floor. It's confusing because the address is 900 Wayne but it is easier to get to from Fenton. They could use a small banner on Wayne. The place itself is okay. The cronuts and bagels were fine. Nothing special. The seating inside was a bit odd. The barista area looked pretty clean though. The service was fast. There wasn't enough variety of food. If you want a quick bagel and coffee, it is okay but otherwise I would pass.

The Kensington location is open mostly on Saturdays -- at 4120 Howard Avenue, from 9:00 am -2:30 pm. (I think Diego said they were also there some Sundays.) Bump 'n Grind offers a delightful coffee-buying experience. Diego was most gracious and friendly. He sold me a bag of Mix Tape, a wonderfully rich medium roast coffee, which he ground on the spot for me. While my friend and I were there, two other groups of people appeared to buy coffee. It felt like a mini-market gathering among cognoscenti who knew where to get the best coffee. Very much like a small community gathering. Highly recommended.

The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making it easy to settle in and enjoy a great conversation. While we didn't eat much this visit, the menu is incredibly robust and tempting enough that we've already decided to come back next month for our next check-in. Another huge plus: convenient parking nearby and easy access to the Metro, which makes meeting up here simple and stress-free. Java Nation strikes a great balance between a welcoming café and a productive meeting spot. Whether you're grabbing coffee, planning your next move, or just enjoying the neighborhood vibe, this is a solid go-to.

The food overall was great, from the drinks to the dessert. The only miss for me was the Margherita flatbread it lacked a bit of flavor compared to everything else but everything else we tried was absolutely delicious. We ended up leaving before the live music started, which I regret because it sounded like such a nice touch. I'd definitely come back to enjoy that next time!

I ordered their medium…read morechai latte (hot) with no sweetner, and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich with havarti cheese and avocado. Total came out to approximately $18. What's Hot - Quality. My egg and cheese croissant sandwich, which I ordered with havarti cheese and avocado was delicious. It was served warm. Everything was soft and tender. My sandwich was not overly salty, as well, which I appreciated. I was also surprised that my sandwich was served with fries. The fries were tasty, but too thin for my liking. My chai tea latte was also yummy, not too frothy, and not sweet, as I ordered no sweetener. - Menu. There appears to be something for everyone- coffee, non-caffeinated drinks, sweet baked good, savory baked goods, non-dairy options, and full meals. - Service. The time I waited for my order to be ready was fairly brief. Probably less than 10 minutes. My drink and food were ready separately and did not come together. They call out your name for your order, so make sure you are paying attention. - Price. For spending less than $20 on a meal, I would say it's pretty good value for money. My egg and cheese croissant sandwich was also substantive and not skimpy, which was good. - Layout. The inside has a pretty good space. There are counters with high stool seating, and a fair amount of tables and chair for regular seating, as well. - Location. Convenient, especially to other restaurants and shops. there is also parking in the area. However, be prepared to spend time and money on parking, depending on the day and time you come. What's Not - Service. It appears to be mostly self-service. After you enter their front entrance, there are two kiosks for self-service ordering. On the one hand, it's helpful if you know what you're ordering. On the other hand, if you have questions, their kiosks are not conducive for that. They have baked goods section, which appears to also be self-serve. However, I was uncertain how that actually worked, because I did not see an in-person cashier. - Layout. Depending on the size of your group, and day and time you come, seating can be difficult to come by. Most of their seating appears to be cramped, as well (i.e., many of their sit down tables and chairs are very close together). - Acoustics. They play music inside at a volume that is not very conducive for conversation. - Parking. There is parking in the area, but it can be difficult to find, depending on the day and time you come. On the day my friend and I were here, there was a lot of snow piled up, so finding street parking was very difficult. There are parking lots in the area, most of which are paid parking, so be mindful of the time you spend. There appears to be free parking in the area, but those are not easy to come by depending on the day and time. Final Answer Willing to come back, but probably not a first choice.
