Sherman Oaks, California This Starbucks is usually pretty busy in the mornings - especially from opening until around 9am - mostly with mobile orders and folks grabbing coffee to go. That said, the dine-in area is rarely full, so you can almost always find a table. There's no drive-thru, but the indoor seating is decent and can accommodate small groups. It's also a good spot to get some work done; there are working wall outlets, which is always a plus. Parking is easy since it's shared with other businesses, and I've never had trouble finding a space. The restroom is gender-neutral, and every time I've used it, it's been clean and stocked. The line for the morning rush is busy and since it's store only (no drive thru) they do their best to make it go fast. I don't stop in as much as work shifted from office building to remote, but I enjoy a few things in this shopping center. Including rite aid so when the mood for the bucks sets in, I just stop in. Free Wi-Fi, limited sitting, but they do have some nice working and relaxing spots. Iced Coffee, Iced Black Tea Lemonade, Iced Passion Tea, Cold Brew and/or a tall hot black French Roast are my go to's here. I walked inat about 7:23am after driving from Los Angeles. The woman at the register finished taking an order in front of me and never looked up after the other patrons moved. After about 30 seconds, she walked away from the register never acknowledging me. I then called and complained and expressed I was black women who was ignored. Several years back corporate downsized and closed some locations that were deemed less profitable. So, why does this little store keep cranking out the quality caffeine? Love this convenient location. Busy parking lot, but when one comes another goes and I never have to look for parking long. I usually do a mobile order and always get greeted upon walking into the door. I read some of the 1 star reviews and my response is, you can't fix someone's misery with coffee. Clearly. There are only a few tables, but most of the time 1 or 2 are available. It's quiet during certain hours. But loud when it's rush hour. Chill vibe. I will first start by saying, I don't always think the costumer is always right. However, I placed a mobile order for my Frappuccino, I walked into the store a few min. later not expecting it to be ready yet. I wouldn't say the store was busy, but somewhat steady as far as costumers. About 5 min after I walked in I could see that my drink had been started and placed in front of the blender. However, it continued to sit there for another 10 min. I'm fairly certain they forgot about it as there was no other blended drinks being made. Having worked in a coffee shop before, I get that these things happen. I finally go up and ask about it which is when they realize they had forgotten about. However at this point, rather than have any sense of urgency they continue to take their time to make. Finally, 18 min. after my order was put in did I finally get my drink. When i got my drink I pointed out to the female worker in a frustrated tone that it was insane that it took that long for my drink to be made. However, rather than apologizing for the wait or acknowledging that it was clearly forgotten about, she dismisses my complaint outright and in an extremely condescending tone tells me to "have a nice day". I don't know where she learned costumer service, but that is NOT it. To add insult to injury, the Frappuccino was pretty terrible and was all ice. I think the employees during this Saturday midday shift could use a few reminders in better costumer service. read more

Such a bad experience at this location. I'm not someone who is easily bothered nor do I have unreasonable expectations for a Starbucks, HOWEVER, this was terrible. I went in after work to finish up a final and was on a deadline, so I was hoping to focus and get work done (as one does at Starbucks). This location is right next to a high school and I think a couple of the workers are students there or former ones because groups and groups of teens kept coming in to talk and joke with them being obnoxiously loud and disruptive. It was not one group or two, but easily 5-7 GROUPS of teens coming in and out. Aside from the teens that Starbucks really has no control over, the 5+ workers that were there were being inconsiderately loud as well. Not to mention that what they were talking about was very inappropriate to be having around customers. The music they were playing was blasting to the point that I couldn't hear a video I was playing through my headphones. Multiple people who came in to work abruptly left and were also highly annoyed by the noise. Then as the time passed one of the workers yelled to her coworker "TURN IT UP!" And the music got EVEN LOUDER. It was ridiculous. Anyways I gave them 2 stars because the shop was extremely clean and when I interacted with the baristas they were polite and got to my drink quickly. Three stars, just as they deserve. It's a convenient location to the office, but most likely will drive bit more to make up for the lack of service from this location. I ordered a venti iced tea and received, what seems like, a venti cup filled with lots of ice and very little tea. I did notice that the barista made too large of a drink in their measuring cup because there was about two inches of liquid left at the bottom of his measuring cup that they make the drinks in and he poured the top contents in my venti, therefore, handing me mostly ice. I didn't say anything, I was in a hurry and it was hot out but really? $4 for a cup of ice! Thanks Starbucks! We stopped at this Starbucks to get drinks before going to a football game at Valley College. It was late in the afternoon/early evening and it was not crowded at all. The employees were super friendly and pleasant. The store was very clean. This is a small location with a few tables inside. You order in the front and then wait for your drinks in the back which can get crowded. This seems to be a design flaw with a lot of the Starbucks locations. We did have one problem but it worked out well in our favor. Two of my friends got their drinks right away, but we seemed to be waiting longer for my simple iced tea. Then we noticed my drink sitting unattended on the counter while the barista was helping the next customer that came in after us. He had started to make my drink but got distracted and left it. We made a comment about it, and he apologized and finished making my iced tea. He then went and got us a free drink card which was very nice of him. Other than that, we had a good experience at this Starbucks location. The parking lot was small and I imagine it gets crowded during the morning rush hour. read more

My FAVORITE Starbucks! I love this location for multiple reasons. The first reason, obviously, it's close to where I live so when I am heading out for errands or just to enjoy a beautiful day, this is the first place I go to. The baristas are soooo nice here. The customer service is awesome and they move pretty quickly. It's only crazy busy at this location during specific times of day (usually after Notre Dame High School lets out) so I have it down to a science as to when to come here and avoid all of that. I don't eat the pastries due to a gluten allergy but the pastries always look fresh and delicious. The baristas remember their regular customers and most of the time will have my drink ready for me either when I walk in the door OR if there is a line, my order is already ready by the time I get to the cashier. The pickup area is super small, so the whole area gets crowded. Even the entry/sitting area is quite long and rectangular, so there's really no room. I couldn't imagine sitting in here to relax with a beverage.
