Are you kidding me? It tasted like water. They didn't even add vanilla to the cold foam. It was MILK. Hate this place.

I got the iced coconut milk latte. I didn't expect coconut milk to provide such a creamy texture but it tasted great and there's a hint of coconut. The drink wasn't too sweet either. The drink was refreshing and light, great if you don't just want black coffee but don't want an extremely sweet drink. The location is nearby a residential area. It's quiet enough to do work and this location has some of the Starbucks Reserve drinks and beans too, which is great if you don't want to venture downtown for it.

Rocky Road cake pop.

What bothers me is that they charged me for a whole cake as if I bought 9 slices. When I went to pick it up, it was a lot less tall than when I buy a slice, and I realized they charged me for nine slices when clearly this is an eight slice cake. I paid over $111 dollars. Not sure if I would buy a whole cake again. I think I will stick to slices.

Firstly I saw one of the bakers drop a pastry onto the floor and then he put it back on the pastry rack for sell like nothing happened. Secondly, I saw the same man drink straight out of a milk carton that they no doubt use as an ingredient in their kitchen. The workers here are nice enough, but seem to not like their job all that much. One honest worker had told me that many of the food items which the owner claims is made in house, is in fact not made by them at all. For example, all of their breads and all of their donuts. Some seasonal desserts as well. Baked fresh each day? They make their pastries in bulk, freeze them and then sell them through the span of a week or two. Most of the cookies are very stale, some of the pastries have been undercooked. Etc, etc, etc.

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

Service was nice and simple, but not stellar. I will say that the person who helped me was really accommodating to my request. I don't like for my drinks to be super sweet, so she made me a fresh cup of the London Fog mix. For food I had the ham and cheese croissant with cornichon butter. The cornichon butter was the main attraction for me, but once I tasted it, it was underwhelming. I could tell that the ham and cheese were good quality, but that still didn't justify the 14.00 price tag. I decided that I wouldn't ever order that again if I ever returned. Again, this is a cute place with some seating available against the wall. Perfect place to enjoy a hot drink and get some work done or meet a friend.

It's a very cute shop and it's spacious, but sadly, I feel like their coffee beans were overpriced ($25/bag). No line really and payment was quick since we just needed a bag of coffee. Not a whole lot of people inside compared to the matcha cafe across the street, so hard to say if the drinks are good. If we do come back, I'd hope the drinks are above our expectations. We def won't be back to buy just coffee beans though.

My friend and I stopped by Push x Pull after our run to treat ourselves to a late morning coffee…read more Push x Pull currently has three locations -- two in Portland and one in Seattle -- and is well known for its specialty coffee. I ordered an iced pour over (Zambia Kateshi Estate Anaerobic Natural) for $8, with tasting notes of pineapple, blackberry, and lychee. it was incredibly refreshing -- fruity, juicy, and vibrant. I enjoyed it so much that I bought a bag of the beans to bring home. My friend ordered an iced Americano, which was made with a light roast that had intense fruity acidity. it wasn't quite her style, but I appreciated that they didn't default to a darker roast for milk-free drinks. There was plenty of seating upstairs, where we relaxed and chatted over coffee. Overall, Push x Pull is a reliable spot if you enjoy specialty coffee. The baristas are serious about their craft, and I'd love to try one of their espresso-based drink next time.

In my opinion, Push x Pull is the only shop I've found in Seattle that can truly compete with the best shops in those cities. I mostly drink cortado (a drink which leaves nowhere to hide) and Push x Pull executes them at a level I haven't found elsewhere in Seattle. The espresso is always dialed in, and the milk texture is ridiculous. The staff is also great. I frequently come in with my two young boys, who are not exactly known for sitting quietly, and everyone has always been incredibly kind and welcoming. If you're serious about coffee, go here.
