My first stop was on Friday morning before work. The owner was very friendly. My latte was a bit strong but OK. We stopped in again on Saturday morning before the herb festival. My latte was actually better this day. We also tried some of the baked goods: a slice of pistachio bread (which was a great shade of green) and a slice of almond-poppy seed bread. Good flavor but they were a little dry. I'm assuming it was one of the other owners who waited on us. Again, super friendly (and fast). Be aware that their coffee sleeves might not be workplace appropriate depending on where you work. Just sayin'. :) I will stop in again. Their breakfast and lunch menu looked good!

Stopping for a visit in Tulsa…read more Downtown seems quiet and rather empty for a work week. The coffee shop is located at the Philcade building. History of the building in the display case. It's a narrow shop, bar counter setup in the front and some two top tables, more towards the back of the shop. The oat milk latte is flavorful. The hibiscus is quite tart, but smells pleasant. Grabbed a small 12 ounce hibiscus and a 16 ounce oatmeal latte. Just under $11. A bit of a maze to get to the restrooms outside of the shop.

I had an empty stomach & didn't really want anything to eat at the time so I went with a cold brew, the Nitro cold brew to be exact. I decided to throw some flavor in the mix last minute & went with cinnamon (syrup), which suited the Nitro so well. I almost went with the cupcake syrup & with me at the moment, I wanted something more subtle (I'm definitely going to get that flavor added to my coffee soon). Also, shout out to the lady who helped (I didn't catch her name), she was super friendly & when I initially asked about flavors being added, she literally told me every option available. No matter the locations I've visited, I've never had an issue & this location can be added to that list. Plenty of drinks to choose from - coffee (of course), smoothies, energy drinks & so forth. The muffin tops (which I got offered with the blueberry one & passed on...) looked really good. As far as the Nitro, it gave me the buzz I 1000% needed.

On many visits, I've noticed employees standing around chatting or appearing idle while customers wait longer than necessary. The bigger issue seems to be a lack of effective management and leadership. Having adequate staffing is only beneficial when team members are directed and working efficiently. There often appears to be little oversight or urgency, resulting in slower service despite the number of employees present. The staff are generally friendly, but the operational execution leaves much to be desired. With stronger management and better accountability, the customer experience could improve significantly.

I strongly recommend Buffalo because of the quick service drive-thru (the line was long but they got to everyone very quickly), the welcoming atmosphere and ambiance, and the tasty coffee that packs a punch.
