After the clothing swap I went to get some food. I ordered the Teenage Riot in a burrito version, it had: Scrambled eggs, fauxrizo, caramelized onions, cheddar jack, avocado crema, and cilantro on corn tortilla. ALL VEGETARIAN AND GLUTEN FREE!! I also had a sugar plum latte which crossed between a lavender and ube taste. Oh lord- BOTH WERE AMAZING! I especially liked that the menu was named after Sonic Youth songs- This tickled my timbers XD Customer service was very friendly and quick. I am definitely coming back so I can achieve eating a whole Sonic Youth Album! 100000/10.

Stopping for a visit in Tulsa…read more Downtown seems quiet and rather empty for a work week. The coffee shop is located at the Philcade building. History of the building in the display case. It's a narrow shop, bar counter setup in the front and some two top tables, more towards the back of the shop. The oat milk latte is flavorful. The hibiscus is quite tart, but smells pleasant. Grabbed a small 12 ounce hibiscus and a 16 ounce oatmeal latte. Just under $11. A bit of a maze to get to the restrooms outside of the shop.

I love the surroundings and decor here. I had just missed the most recent Yelp event and so I had to get a matcha. It was delicious! I also got an iced tea (something tropical with pineapple) before I left along with a TBR (turkey, bacon, ranch) sandwich to go. The sandwich was pretty solid. I wish I had had time to browse the books more. I will be back! (The only issue was they were out of lavender syrup that day. I wanted a lavender matcha and my coworker wanted a lavender latte....) Besides the delicious coffee drinks, I appreciate that they offer Mood Bru as well here!

They couldn't be waited on till the three of us got our orders. I appreciated that on my end. I bet the people yet to be waited on were annoyed. It took me 27 minutes to get my drink from the time I ordered it. I timed them. The people in front of me complained that the cafe was out of everything. Anything they asked for wasn't available. Various breads and bagels and baked goods. They don't have soy milk? Only traditional, almond or oat. I had to circle the building three times before I found street parking. Pros: I really wanted to hate this place. But this is the best Matcha I have ever had ever. Sweet and smooth. Really good. Very cute vibes. Mid century modern industrial decor. The guy making the sandwiches followed appropriate hygiene methods. Very clean. I watched him the entire time I was there. Things were so weirdly chaotic for the employee. But he just kept smiling and even made a joke.

So, the item I wanted sold out (of course) & I was told to come back the next day and it'll be available. It's off of their (seasonal) Summer Menu so I went ahead with another that was on it, a Cascara Energy drink. It's iced and it was super good. Hints of cherry in every sip. I got the Polish Sausage Roll to go with my drink. I grabbed some dijon mustard & went to work. I enjoyed it, there was a non-polish sausage one as well. They're a pretty good size.
