No frills Starbucks. I'm surprised it's listed as a "reserve", because although they have a few special beans at hand, the baristas actually had no idea about them since they said no one really ordered them. The inside is also quite simple unlike the other Reserve locations I've been to. Very minimal seating and it's out in the open so may be a bit difficult to grab a spot during popular times.

Blocked off window sill seating area despite having great sunlight, the only covid friendly area with fresh air in the whole venue. It's odd they have unused space that patrons could actually sit at, making Peet's next door a better option for in person dining.

Great place to get a coffee. Came here on a Tuesday. Clean and well stocked. The employee who helped me - think she was a manager or shift lead - was really nice. Anna? Andrea? Don't remember. The bathrooms were clean. Not sure about parking, we walked to the cafe. Not too many seating options, but it is one of the fancier Starbucks. Bought a latte to go.

I like coming to starbucks reserve places when given the chance. It's been awhile since I've come back here and I always remember liked coming here before covid and today even during covid, this store surprised me how low of a rating this place has on yelp. My visit today to this Store is clean, organized and had a semi fancy feel compared to other Starbucks locations are. Everything is clearly marked 6ft across with arrows and all of where to stand and order. I did a mobile order for my visit today but I can see the 3 ladies this morning hustling trying to get as much and as quickly out as possible while still being courteous to guests and super clean with prepping/delivering. They were all relatively not stressed and calm with tons of people in a rush to pick up. It was surprising really quiet despite having 10 or so people waiting. When In the area, come check it out! My reserve latte was delicious!

Brady relaxing waiting for a bite! For those who are limited on time, I highly recommend using the mobile app to get ahead of the line. The baristas are quick to push the drinks out, overall a good experience.

Running an errand in the Marina, I noticed a cavernous and newly constructed store entrance on Chestnut Street, not a norm in this old time neighborhood. Curious, I peaked in and noticed the name... Starbucks Reserve?! Is this a competitor or what?! Upon walking in, despite not being an avid coffee drinker, I studied their menu and ordered a dark chocolate strato as it sounded like gourmet and frozen hot chocolate to me. While waiting, I couldn't help but to admire how nicely the design and layout was for this upscale literal coffee bar... yes, there was a bar counter with seating in addition to comfortably spaced tables which were apt for more intimate or private conversations. Because I was merely shopping in the area and this was an unplanned stop, I took my drink with me and enjoyed it as I drove back to the office. This was definitely not hot chocolate as the expresso was definitely the dominant flavor. It was good, but certainly different from my expectations and likely not fully appreciated with my novice taste buds coffee wise. Not sure if I'd return, but it is certainly a nice stop for those who appreciate coffee.

This review is just for the decor. I happened to pass Starbucks in the Marina on Monday and I gotta say that my head whipped around really fast before stepping into the shop. What caught my eye was the revamped look; all that Starbucks green is gone and now it's wood, concrete, stainless steel and faux (?) brown leather. I was amazed and I guess I haven't been in the area for awhile during the transformation. The place makes me think of Milan, Italy and Italian minimalism. I like the look. This change makes me recall how Peet's in the Marina revamped their store (which is just a short distance from this Starbucks location). Similarly, Peet's created the most beautiful space with plants, wall art, skylight and concrete. Their Marina location is in the top two of sales in San Francisco (told to me by a Peet's barista). Guess those Marina folks seriously quaff coffee! Anyways, there was a crowd ordering at this Starbucks Reserve shop and I gotta say that there are definitely issues with space. It's too tight inside this store when crowded. Impatient, I left without ordering a beverage or food. At heart, I'm a Peet's girl.

I must live under a rock, because I didn't know there was a difference between Starbucks and the one that has a Star over the R (Starbucks Reserve). I honestly thought it was just Starbucks making it fancy looking. And fancy it is. (Seriously) When I walked in, I was surprised by the look of it. It was clean and sleek. Great place to sit down with a client. The cold brew, however, only had two sizes, tall and grande but it came in a cute plastic cup and also cost more. A grande cold brew cost me $4. (And that's with nothing in it) It was good though. I asked for a splash of heavy cream after. The female barista was really nice. The cashier was cool. The menu is different. Not your typical Starbucks.

    So cute Starbucks

Hello when you're paying so much for your drink you want it full to the top.. And the refrigerator wasn't working. They had no breakfast food out, Which wouldn't have been bad but it took so long for them to run to the back to get my yogurt with fruit and granola. And hello we all have to work!

I used to stop by here years ago for a White Chocolate Mocha to get a kick of caffeine. Nowadays, this place has been remodeled.

This is a popular location, so the lines during peak times can be long. The staff is very efficient and kind.

Indeed the Twisted Street Cafe is one of my favorite all-time breakfast places in San Francisco. I moved back up two years ago. It was important to me to identify the best breakfast houses since breakfast is one of my most important meals of the day for me. I spent a couple weeks, trying out various places. In frankly was quite leery of anything on Lombard Street due to traffic, congestion, dirt and noise. And there were a few that I tried that were not worthy. When I came across the Twisted Street Cafe, I Immediately, I knew it was different. Small, boutique, but fresh fresh fresh food. This is the type of restaurant who remembers your name and I remember your favorite orders As an example, I was working from home and on a series of conference calls so I ordered Twisted Street Cafe from DoorDash. I clearly didn't pay attention to my order and it made a couple of errors on what my usual would be. They knew it was for me, somehow, and called me to verify if I wanted it done my regular way or the way it was came across their order. Of course I want it done the way I would normally have it, and I thanked them profusely for recognizing the mistake and helping to correct it for me. Their food is fresh. Their smoothies are incredibly tasty and fulfilling. They are located on the ground floor next to a very nice boutique hotel. I usually get takeout but on weekends, I'll choose to sit outside in the sun. Clearly, they have fantastic employees who are passionate about their job and really get to know their customers. Highly recommend Twisted Street Cafe for great food and consistency. 5-stars!!

I'm a lover of pandan and had SO much trouble choosing a drink because of it lol. I ended up ordering the kopi klepon and it was amazing! The drink was super creamy and earthy, and I loved how vibrant the pandan flavor was. Oftentimes when I get pandan drinks the flavor is way too light, but this had the perfect amount. It also had a bit of palm sugar in it, which added just the right level of sweetness. Definitely lived up to the hype!

A couple tables along the side but overall not too big inside. Couldn't decide what to get but I loved that their menu included visuals for the components of each drink. Price is slightly on the higher end but I guess you can't get Indonesian coffee anywhere else in SF. Ended up with a macchiato and cappuccino to try. Staff was friendly and I appreciate that they were informative about the macchiato being different than how Starbucks does it. Our drinks were freshly made and ready in 5 mins. Size of the macchiato was definitely a lot smaller than I realized but the coffee was nice and bold. Both drinks allowed us to appreciate the pure coffee bean taste without being too bitter. Looking forward to coming back and trying the popular kopi pandan!
