Starbucks is absolutely incredible!!! Their drinks hit every time! They always have food and drinks that i'm the mood for!!! But the only downside is the drinks that I order are getting a little bit old because i keep ordering the same thing because it is SOO GOOD!!!

This location is way better than the one in the Vons parking lot. Every time I get amazing service, it has a decent amount space to get work done and this time Chris totally impressed me when he offered to make me a sample latte (sugar cookie almond milk) since he didn't have a personal opinion on it. It was so kind and made such a great impression. Thank you.

Not even full

So many issues here. When I pay almost $6 for a drink, I expect the cup to be full. This is the second time this has happened this month. The first time I let it go, but two times is just ridiculous. Not to mention the wildly unfriendly staff there in the AM. No greetings, ask for something and it's like I asked them to carry a boulder up a hill, and take way too long to heat up a dang sandwich. This location needs to get it together.

Venti Green Tea and Petite Vanilla Scone
Jack M.

This is a very busy Starbucks and a lot of people hang out here. I stopped in to get some work done and enjoy a venti green iced tea with no sweet and a petite vanilla scone (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-coffee-san-diego-94?select=ObNzKJmnXcxZNIbZrHWiYA#ObNzKJmnXcxZNIbZrHWiYA). The green tea was refreshing and hit the spot, but I thought they put way to much ice in the teach, which watered it down quicker than I wanted to. The vanilla petite scone was good a came with a nice icing top (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-coffee-san-diego-94?select=ObNzKJmnXcxZNIbZrHWiYA#D_buItNurn9rrDzTk4i5BA). The scone had a nice crumbly texture inside with a good and mild vanilla flavor (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/starbucks-coffee-san-diego-94?select=ObNzKJmnXcxZNIbZrHWiYA#vMCeeah5DZ_C5muiKkRPGw). Always a good dependable scone. Service was okay. The girl at the counter was nice, but the one making the drinks was a good spirits calling out the drinks as she made them. The Starbucks has some seating along the west side of the building and being near the beach, it's nice to sit and watch the sunset during the evenings.

Cutest little golden doodle walked in today. Hands down the best part of my visit.

Most importantly, it offers delicious coffee, the Cappuccino is my favorite, they always make it just perfect. Thank You. They sell these little empanadas that go well with your breakfast drink, the bacon and cheese is tasty. They also offer unique salsa's to compliment. This place is very down to earth and while you wait, they have small things you can buy, perhaps as a gift or for yourself. I have bought the soap, its handmade and smells divine. I live like 2 streets over and i drove by this place so many times before i tried it too... i really like supporting mom and pop privately owned businesses, they need our support, it is important to shop local and shop small.

Don't miss the breakfast empanadas--I had the bacon, egg, and cheese, and it came out hot, tasted homemade, and might be one of the best breakfast empanadas I've ever had. Pair it with their excellent espresso or a latte, and you've got a perfect start to the day. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area and appreciate great coffee.

This location is shared with other businesses and it's pretty unassuming from the outside.. it does have both street parking and a private parking lot which is great. I'm sure it's busier during the week but on the weekend. While I was craving a Matcha, my husband was craving something sweet. We definitely both scored. My husband ordered a berries and cream croissant, and I had a ceremonial Matcha with vanilla. Service was excellent. They brought our drinks to us which was nice, I liked how bright it was inside with all the glass windows. I definitely be back in the area again. Great stop.

I had the breakfast sando on a house made and . baked round croissant. Their are three to choose from. I had the southern comfort for $11.99 plus tax. It came with a savory sausage patty, a black pepper country gravy, a fried egg made with garlic butter. The southern comfort sando was very tasty. The sausage and fried egg were very good. I liked the the round croissant they use for the sandwich. It was very buttery and had a good flakiness, but the one I received, had issues staying together. I liked the croissant, but I just wish it would stay together better. There's a good amount of inside seating at this location, but I did not see any on the outside. The man and lady working at this location were nice.

I asked for the girl that worked at the counter to please only make it slightly sweet. It was absolutely perfect. Just the slightest hint of gingerbread, not that sweet. Didn't overpower the fantastic roast on the beans. She was very nice, she delivered it to me on the patio and even offered to remake it if I didn't like the sweetness level. I could tell the coffee was very much my taste. I went back inside after I finished my latte and talked to the girl at the counter for a little while. She helped me choose a bag of coffee to bring home, talk to me about the flavor, nuances and let me smell them, etc.. She also introduced me to the owner/Roster who happened to be there at the time. He and his wife are from Columbia and all of their beans are sourced from there and then he roasts them for sale locally. He was telling me that he's been roasting coffee beans in San Diego for other coffee shops and he still does that but he opened his first coffee shop in 2018. I truly had so many more questions, but I could tell he was busy and didn't want to bother him, he was trying to finish up the roasts on all of the specialty coffees for the holiday gift packs!
