If it was in Iran in the 1970s it'd be the Shahbucks. But then Ayatollah would come in and f*** the whole place up. Khomeinibucks doesn't have the same ring to it. And Bilbo doesn't have the same Lordofthering to it as the word dildo. At the North Star Mall, this Starbucks is often really busy and can have a pretty long line. The products aren't great, and the people serving are not always too friendly. I'm over this chain and honestly I never liked it in the first place. Sometimes they have good employees but their products are overpriced and not that many employees really like the company. I paid 6 dollars for my Caramel Mocha Latte and it didn't taste sweet, nor was it very hot. But Barbie is hot.

On my way back to Dallas and needed some Starbucks for the drive. I searched in my Waze for the closest location and it brought me to this location in the mall. How frustrating, right! However, I'm so glad it did!!! This is the friendliest Starbucks I have ever been in and I'm glad I have this experience before my long drive home.

Filled up with coffee only half of the way, and didn't add cinnamon

They're so slow here and when I follow up my order. "Mandy" the barista was so rude. I've waited for 30 mins for my order.

There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Indoors is clean, spacious and airy with the redolence of great coffee. After absorbing the vibe, the barista, Tosh, greeted me with the kindest smile and reminder of my go-to drink, which surprised me as this was my first time patroning this location. Turns out, he remembered me from a coffee shop where he worked in the past! Side note: he's awesome! I ordered the Mofawar which I am OBSESSED! It's beyond smooth , with a rich, full-bodied flavor with the aromatic hint of crushed cardamom, which leaves a sweet treat at the bottom of the cup! I also tried the chai which also was tast and flavorful but nothing tops the Mofawar in my opinion. Service was pretty quick but keep in mind it may take longer for the specialty drinks due to the process which they are made. This is a great place to meet up, study (free WiFi) or just grab a specialty Yemeni drink and go!

Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different in San Antonio!

The pastry and artisan work on the pastries is phemononial. The pastry is some of the best I have had throughout the MidEast. I just finished the last piece of Baklovah and I am mad at myself because I should have have bought more. Hubs has 3 scoops of Geleto. Heavenly Pistachio. I ate a 2 person piece of Cream Kunufa. It was a bit bland and needed Rose Water in the syrup; The Kunufa needed to be cooked a bit more. Too soft and the cream wasn't Iskta Cream. It was more rubbery. The place is gorgeous., however. Beautiful decor, excellent service and all waitstaff are so polite. With the amount of people, one who except a grump, not one there. Beautiful coffees, I should have not gotten a Lavender Vanilla Gelato. No, I needed the Kunufa. The one thing I didnt try was Turkish Delight. Houston's beat their in looks and selections, but not in pastries. The Pistachio pastry and Peach was out of this world gorgeous. So much talent. Somethings are very expensive and others are very reasonable. I would love to watch the artisans create the pastries. The are huge proportions and so realistic. We really enjoyed this stop. Houston, you needs this here. There is nothing close to compare too. The Woodlands would be great,as well. Again, the camera wasn't working.

Also serving pizza, salads and coffee drinks. Whew! I took home a Biscoff cinnamon roll. It's very large for about $9. I'll let you know if it was worth it. Go there.

The outside doesn't scream coffee shop , in fact it's kind of an "IYKYK" type places because it's right in plain sight and I passed it for awhile before knowing what it was. Thanks to the San Antonio coffee fb group for all of the recommendations! They have a pretty expansive menu as well as plenty of delicious looking baked goods ! They have some cbd options too but I didn't try any of those. I tried the iced texas Star - flavorful and great espresso flavor. I do wish they used smaller ice cubes so the drink would last just a tiny bit longer. I also tried their chocolate croissant. Good, but would've been better warmed up! I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. On the plus side, clean restrooms with a changing table which is hard to come by!

We were able to park, but I could see it being an issue during busy times. Seating/Ambiance: The indoor area is pretty small, with just a few tables. They also have some tables outside along the side, which is nice when the weather is good. It's more of a quick dessert stop than somewhere I'd plan to hang out for a long time. Cheesecake: You can get cheesecake by the slice or in individual jars, which I thought was a cute option. They have a good variety of flavors. We tried the Turtle cheesecake and it was delicious! Rich, creamy, and definitely hit the spot. Bonus: They have a loyalty/reward where after 10 jars, you get a free jar, which is a nice incentive if you live nearby or become a regular. One suggestion: My only complaint is that I wish they had a description of what's inside each cheesecake flavor. You have to ask about the ingredients/fillings for each one, which makes it a little harder to decide when there are so many options. Everyone's very nice. You select your cheesecake & then go to the end of the counter to pay. Overall: Cute little cheesecake shop with lots of fun flavors and the option to get individual jars. Parking and seating are limited, but the cheesecake is definitely worth a visit. Would come back to try more flavors!
