I love trying new coffee shops and my go to is a cortado. I order them every stop I make and no exaggeration this was hands down the best cortado I have ever had. The ingredients in the drinks here are absolutely sourced for the best quality and flavor. My friend got a chai and stated this was the best chai she has ever had, another got a latte with honey and we both agreed the honey was such a delicious flavor without being concentrated in sugar. Located inside the BURNS building. Only signage for the coffee shop is a chalkboard sign out front on the sidewalk. Couldn't get our usual, as the barista admitted she didn't know how to make a flat white, so we ordered decaf drip with heavy cream. It is SUPER hot and dark and delicious. Totally a great cup of coffee. But we're missing the velvety feel of the steamed cream. TONS of seating. Good but prices inflated! A latte was about $7.50. Interior of the cafe is beautiful, we stayed awhile and did some work on our laptops. Stop by to get something cool and refreshing after dinner and this place did not disappoint. I decided to try the iced Blue Matcha as recommended by the barista. The barista used whole milk for this drink, and it was really good. It reminded me of Frankenberry cereal. Had that flavoring which I really loved. The place here has a really nice vibe. It's open and airy and it reminds me of a hotel lobby. Really awesome place. Inconveniently next-door that you could see into the next shop is a barbershop. That's pretty cool. Located in almost a lobby area of a building in downtown San Antonio, my husband and I stopped here on a Friday evening for a drink fix and reading place. Inside there is comfortable seating area and tables which make it a great place to study (there is still limited seating overall so harder if you have a big group but groups of 2-4 would be fine). They do have free WIFI and worked great when I was there. I did not get any of their coffee drinks as it was late in the evening, but did have their Irish mocha latte decaf which was very good and glad they had oat milk and made the drink not too sweet! Service was friendly (the barista personally hand delivered the drinks to us) and loved that the drink was served in warm and cozy mugs. Parking - plenty of metered parking around and as it was less busier part of downtown San Antonio wasn't difficult finding a spot. read more

I ordered a small drip coffee @10:30am and got the laziest pour over I've ever seen. The pre-ground coffee wasn't weighed, the water wasn't measured, and the filter wasn't pre-rinsed. Well... that's okay, I'm not picky. I didn't order a pour over! I ordered a small drip, and maybe they don't want to make a new batch just for one cup. Fair enough, right? Surprise! I received a cup of flavored coffee! Blah. Hazelnut, I guess? I don't know, it was undrinkable to me. And to top it off, I was overcharged; that is unless we're dealing with a 37% tax on swill. Maybe I was charged for... a large? Or something else that clearly cost more than what I ordered. What a disappointment and failure on so many levels to come through with the simplest cafe order imaginable. The one star is for the lounge area (and that's as low as we can go), it was nice inside. read more

Full disclosure I'm a Valero or at home coffee guy. We have meetings in this building all the time and I'm a sucker for the smell coffee! It's very good quality coffee and tastes amazing. I still can't order right. My gripes and why it's not a 5 for me are issues others may not have. If you're in a rush or running late to a meeting...forget it. It's not fast or quick. Don't think it was intended for that. So I understand that. Also it's not ridiculously overpriced but not cheap. The pastries are delicious. The staff is also very friendly! read more

I'm so glad that I found this very cute coffee roasters, on a side street in the middle of downtown San Antonio. Apparently it's a family run business which I always love. The located within a bigger building that houses, what looks like apartments, with security guard. There is also a barbershop on site. It's very easy to miss this coffee shop. They had a sign out on the street which enabled me to locate them. Inside they have comfy seats, which gives off a hip and artsy vibe. I love that. The coffee was outstanding and I will definitely be back for more. The girl behind the counter was helpful and kind and eager to please the customer. read more

Obsessed with the ambiance of this place - it's has almost like a classy, elegant, old fashioned cigar lounge look to it, and was really quiet on a Saturday afternoon. There's lot of seating and cute little games at lots of the tables if you want to hang out for a while. The service was super friendly and polite which I always appreciate!
